When she was waiting for his replay, she heard a girl voice on the other side of her phone. Her heart sank deep and tears welled up in her eyes. She couldn't stop her horrible imaginations. She couldn't hear everything clearly but she heard her, addressing Murat as "Dear"."Could my day be any worse than this ?" she thought and contemplated how to ask him who the person is and just then he spoke to her...
"Elena, I am at home and probably by today night, we will leave. Where do you u wanna meet up?" he asked her. His voice was so clear without any hint of sorrow.
When she realized he was speaking to her, she immediately replied."At the park near my home, at 10 am?" she asked.
"My cousin is here and she would probably leave by 12, So shall we meet at 12:45? he asked.
When he said that, she felt relieved, like a mountain which was suppressing her had lifted at one go and smile crept on her face. She hit her head for overthinking and having no boundaries for her jealousy."So the girl is his cousin", Elena thought.
"Ya, o.k then, I will be waiting for u".She replied.'But internally "I will be waiting for u my whole life" she wanted to say'.
"Its set then, I will be there soon, by Elena, "he said.
"mmmm" she replied. Other sideline went dead, but she held her mobile to her ear and stood there for some time, thinking about their conversation and how she misunderstood him, just by hearing a girls voice.
"what if someday, he gets a girlfriend ?" she thought, but by the very thought, she felt like 1000 knives jabbed into her at once. She knows that someday she needs to face the reality but now she doesn't want that thought to cross again in her mind. She still has about 3 hrs to meet him and these 3 hrs. are going to be like 3 whole months for her. After about 5 mins, she lied down on the bed. She glanced at the window of her room by turning to the side."Its cloudy today and probably it might rain," she thought, still staring at the window.
"Tck Tck.Tck...Tck.." the sound of her door disturbed her thoughts. This time she went up to the door and when she was about to open the door, she contemplated again, whether to open or not. She might probably be bombarded with many questions from her family, for her strange behavior. But sliding the thought she opened the door and she was greeted by a bone-crushing hug from her elder brother and younger sister.
"YEESH!!! Elena opened her door... mom!! .dad!! come here "Nina Forbes, Elena's younger sister shouted her lungs out.
"off... u ...guys.. are crushing me ..."Elena hardly uttered. They finally broke the trio hug and her bro and sis are looking at her expectantly.
"Mr.Devlin and Ms.Nina see I am fully fit and fine, "Elena said and did a quick twirl in front of them to show that she is perfectly fine. When she saw that, their expressions didn't change, she sighed and sat on the side of her bed.
"Spill out" Devlin spoke without any delay. When she heard those two words uttered by her brother, she understood that they won't leave her until she gave a valid reason. The duo pulled a chair and sat by placing their hands on their chin.
"Boyfriend problem? Nina suddenly blurred out smiling cheekily.
"Stop joking around, She doesn't have one," Devlin said and shot Nina a look. Soon Elena's mom and dad arrived and sat on the bed. Now the 4 are staring at her. Elena didn't know, what she was supposed to say them.
"Instead of taking headache tablet, I mistook headache tablet with sleeping pills and probably I might have taken 2 to 3 because of a severe headache and I overslept. That's it, seriously nothing happened " Elena said and pouted."Now, this might be little weird, but its little bit convincing "Elena thought.
"How the hell did u mistook something like that? If something serious had happened to you I would have left this world the very next moment" her mom said and started crying, followed by her sister. Her bro and dad gave a perilous look.."oh!noo!!!" she shouted internally. She quickly hugged her mom and apologized for being careless.
"I am really sorry, next I will be more careful," She said trying to suppress her hot tears at the doorsteps of her eyes. Nina, Devlin and Elena's father joined Elena and her mom to hug. Elena felt really bad for lying to her family but she can't tell them the truth ."Hiding was her only choice".
"Mom, dad, I need to meet a friend. I will be back soon," Elena said to her parents.
"Whom are you going to meet ?" asked Nina and Devlin at the same time.
"Murat Salvatore" I replied. They eyed each other knowingly and nodded.
"Should we accompany you? Are you o.k going by yourself ?" Nina asked.
"It's alright, I will be fine my dear Nina, " I said smiling."No one loves us selflessly as our family does and to me, Murat is no exception, he is like my own heart, my family," she thought and by the very thought of him, blush crept on her face and she looked at the clock.
"Still an hour to go," she thought.
"o.k I will be leaving now " She announced.
"Have your breakfast princess and I will drop you on my way to the office? " her dad said smiling.
"o.k dad ", she chirped clasping her hands and disappeared to the kitchen followed by her siblings.
Elena sat at the center of the table, to her right Nina took the seat and to her left, Devlin.
"What you said earlier, was it true? Nina asked looking at her sister eye to eye.
"I too have the same doubt"Devlin declared.
"Are you guys from C.B.I or what ?"Elena asked smirking.
"Are you pregnant?

else do you love someone??"Nina shot her questions continuously at Elena.
"haha... haha... haha... haha..."Elena dissolved into hysterics followed by Devlin until she heard "love" but she ignored it and couldn't control her laughter.
"Don't... watch ..movies a lot, haha, how can u, haha, get such horrible thoughts", Nina.
"Stop laughing both of you, else..else I will say, mom, that brother is pregnant" she announced, keeping her hands on her hips and smirking at us.
"Can.. u be more sensible? how can Devlin be pregnant?"Elena asked in the middle of her laughter. Devlin got up and slowly went to Nina eyeing. Nina suddenly got up and ran for life, to the kitchen, followed by Devlin. Elena went into the kitchen to see their "cat and rat "fight...Elena stood at the doorstep and watched the duo. They began to throw the food and wheat flour and even egg!! Seeing them like that, Elena couldn't help but smile pleasantly.
"Don't come close to me bro, I will ..I will smack your head with ..with egg"Nina shouted.
"Ya!of course! Try me"Devlin smirked chasing Nina.
"Stop both of you!! else I will call mom"Elena butted in.
"Ya call mom, she can also see how this little brat has spoiled"Devlin shouted, still chasing Nina.
"Mom!! come to the kitchen. See Devlin and Nina are having a kitchen fight"Elena yelled and left them, to have breakfast and soon their mom came down.
"you!you!" she pointed both of them,"what do you think you are doing?"Elena's mom yelled at them. Now both of them came out and ran away.
"Will these children ever grow up?" she sighed.
"Dad!!"I am done. shall we leave ?" she called her dad.
"Coming princess!" her dad replied from the master bedroom. After about 5 min., Elena's dad came down and they both left. When they both entered the car, suddenly Elena recalled the gift.
"Dad! I Forgot an important thing in my bedroom, give a minute I will get it"Elena said and excused herself. She quickly ran to her room and took the gift and without delay, she left to meet HIM.
"Shall we leave dad?" she asked her father entering the car.
"Where should I drop u, princess,?" he replied.
"Drop me at the Park, at the 7th avenue street "she gave the address and they drove off. After 15 min. her dad dropped her at the park and asked her to stay safe and left. She has arrived 20 min. prior to the decided time, so she decided to feed the fish in the small pond at the park. She purchased "tetra goldfish flakes" and went to the pond to feed them. About 2 hrs, passed to the decision to time for them to meet, but he still didn't show up. Elena glanced at the watch for every 5 min.
"I think his cousin decided to stay for some more time...
I think his might have asked him to get something...
I think he might be running late...
I think he might be caught up in traffic...
I THINK HE DECIDED NOT TO COME.."Elena thought and started pacing at that pond, still feeding the fish.
"Will he come ?"She asked the fish innocently.5 hours passed by but he didn't turn up.
"Did he forget that he was going to meet me?"
"Is he alright?",now her thoughts started going wild. Her mind was all over and tears started welling up and she was afraid, that he might come at any moment and if he saw her crying, what would she say?.so she suppressed her tears and she felt suffocated staying there. First, she thought, calling him will not be a good idea. But she couldn't help herself and dialed his number.
