After Isumi's life ended prematurely due to an illness, the goddess of life and death took pity on her and gave her a small present. She sent Isumi to Ulura into the world where monsters and human-like races live. The human-like beings that live in Ulura have the system that helps them become stronger in order to withstand the monsters and animals. The monsters and animals have the evolutionary system with which they can evolve. This is my first novel so I don't quite know how the story will go so bear with me! I will try to write 1 to 2 chapters every week. (Isumis POV)
'It hurts' that was the main thought I've had for the past two months. I've been in the hospital for two months now after the doctor told me that he couldn't do anything about the disease. He offered me an experimental treatment to see if the disease would work on it, but nothing worked and the pain got worse every week. At night I can only sleep with sleeping pills and today Sahra brings me the sleeping pills again with a smile in the hospital room.
"So Isumi here, do you have the sleeping pills and pain relievers for today, do you want to take them now or later?" she asks politely.
"Now, I'm a bit tired and it's already 8 pm. Can you open the window a little? I would like to feel the wind a bit before I fall asleep." I say to her.
Sahra hands me the pills and says: "I can do that Isumi and I close it again at 9 p.m. when I go on control lap.
I take the pills and thank her. She leaves the room again and I try to sleep because I can already feel the effect of the sleeping pills because my field of vision is slowly turning black on the renders.
A white light suddenly blinds me, I try to look around but only see white. When I try to shield myself with my arm I notice that I don't feel it and I don't feel my legs either. I panic and try to call for help, but I can't speak either. Then I hear an old but also young sounding voice that sounds loving but also sad. "Poor child you died way too early, 27 years is not an age in which you should die child. Come on let me help you live a better life than you have had until now."
I try to ask who she is but no sound comes from me. "You don't need to be afraid of little Isumi. I am the goddess of life and death Temari. I see every soul after it's dead and make sure that it is reborn somewhere else. So you can also call me the goddess of reincarnation. So let it go see where your next life is going. Mmmh ah after Ulura a very beautiful world but also a little dangerous. Let me give you a little present, little Isumi, before you go again. "
I wanted to ask her how she knew what I wanted to ask and what she meant by died and what kind of gift she was talking about. But around me it got dark again and I fell asleep again.
