16 Chapter 16: The Dragon Hashira!

"Ara Ara, are you the one who murdered a lower moon four." Standing infront of me is a woman, she was really short about 5'0.

It was Shinobu Kocho in all her glory. And dayum she was hot! Even though she is pretty short.

I smiled and used a bit of my charm. "Yeah that's me, I'm Issei Hyoudou ."

"I see." She looked a bit shocked and blinked her eyes.

If you'd look closer a small blush could be seen on her face.

"My name is Shinobu Kocho, the insect Hashira. As I was the closest to your current location, I'll be guiding you to the Lords Kagaya Ubayashiki's mansion or your promotion." she told him, he nodded.

"Follow me." Shinobu immediately disappeared running at high speeds. She may not have the strength to chop off a demon's head, but she's one of the fastest demon slayers.

The reason why she's running so fast?

'Lets see just how good he is, he did become a demon slayer not too long ago. I hope he doesn't disappoints me. He is kind of cute.' she thought as she kept running.

"Hey your kind of going a bit fast don't you think?" says Issei as he's easily keeping up with her.

She looked at him bit shocked, but her smile didn't. Though she felt a bit disappointed that he could keep up.

She did want to see how m struggle, after all she's a sadist.

A cocky smile made it's way onto his face, using his charm he replied. "You know if your trying to make lose me. You should try harder."

Seeing his face Shinobu immediately became flustered and turned away.

"Just follow me!" she half shouted as the two went the rest of the way without any conversation.

"So your the new guy." says a youngman with white hair and a scar running across his face. This was the wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa.

"It's nice to today." says a black haired youngman with blue eyes as he stared at particularly nothing. This was the mist Hashira Muichiro Tokita.

"Yeah! I'm Issei Hyoudou, I took down lower rank 4. I guess?" replied Issei.

"Hmph! It's only lower rank not very impressive if I have to say." this reply was from the serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro.

Issei turned to him and replied with nod as if agreeing to what he's saying. "I see it's make sense why she went down so easily."

"I like him! He has spirit!" says a an with blonde hair with red tips as if it was fire. This was the flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku.

After getting acquainted with the rest of the Hashira's, the leader of the demon slayers came out with the help of who could be his wife.

'So that's Kagaya Ubayashiki, so even now he sight is still gone.' thought Issei while bowing.

"You may all stand now." he says as if he knows we're all bowing.

"Your Issei Hyoudou correct?" he asked.

"Yes that's me." I nodded.

"I heard you trained under the former water pillar Urokodaki. He told me quite a few things about you."

Giyu looked at Issei with mild interest.

"He even told me your altered your breath style quite a bit." says the blind man.

"Yeah it's called Water Dragon Breathing, I just altered the Water Breathing to suit my needs. I also know Sun Breathing which I altered and created a Dragon variant."

Rengoku turned to Issei, "That explains the Hanafuda earrings, I read in my family's archive that the last and only Sun Breath user wore them."

"Really? These are just copies of friends." said Issei feigning ignorance.

"What exactly do you mean by copies?" asked Kagaya.

"Well while travelling to Mt.Sagiri I found a family of coal miners. The father was doing dance called Hinokami Kagura. We became friends and I asked him to teach me the dance, it had breathing method that allowed him to dance from night till dawn, even when he was terminally sick."

Hearing this they became surprised and immediately began to put the dots together.

"Where is this man? He sounds flashy!" asked the sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui.

"Sorry but he passed away."

The stone Hashira clasped his hand gave a silent prayer.

"Well after I learned water breathing, it felt oddly similar to the rush I'd get when using Hinokami Kagura, so I tried using the dance forms as sword forms."

Hearing everyone became wide-eyed, as turning dance forms into sword forms isn't as easy as it sounds.

"I see so it's being passed down as a dance. Who would've thought." says Kagaya with a smile on his face.

"Issei Hyoudou as of today you are now the newest Dragon Hashira." announced Kagaya as he said those words the crows flew away and began announcing it to every demon slayer on and off duty.

'Wait a minute? Did I forget about Total Concentration Constant?' thought Issei.
