166 The End of The Beginning

Rias gritted her teeth as she, her peerage and Sona landed on the ground. She tried erasing the Jabberwocky again and again but it was useless. Its regenerative powers were too strong. The Lucifer Peerage and the Ultimate Class Devil peerages were dealing with it now.

Grayfia gritted her teeth as her attack which devastated the Jabberwocky was shrugged off with its regenerative powers.

No one noticed, but high up in the sky, there was a tear in the space that was slowly expanding.

The tear in space suddenly became enormous, everyone noticed and looked at it. Rias widened her eyes. "It can't be!!!" She shouted. Sona was in disbelief too.

They saw the giant head of Great Red emerged from the tear in space. Rias squealed in joy as she sensed an extremely familiar energy with him.

Great Red's shadow covered the whole city they were fighting in. The Ultimate Class Devil's watched in awe as the Apocalypse Dragon was flying over them.

"I don't like the way it's looking at me. Deal with him, boy." Everyone heard Great Red say.

Then they saw two people suddenly diving off his body. Kiba dropped his sword as he saw who they were. It was Issei and Ophis, and they were diving down to the ground like maniacs.

Fire appeared on the soles of Issei's feet as he blasted towards the Jabberwocky. Flames engulfed his hands as he appeared a few meters away from it while pulling back his right fist.

"Fire Fist!!!!"

*FWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!*

The Jabberwocky was then engulfed in a large wave of flames that was as bright as the sun's shine. The buildings behind it were burned down to ashes by the flames.

The flame attack ended as the Jabberwocky was burned down to nothing. Issei then crashed into the ground, making a human shaped crater.

A hand appeared out of the crater and slammed into the ground, Issei laughed as he got out of the crater.

"I'm alive everyone!!!!!" He declared loudly. Rias covered her mouth with her hands as she dropped to the ground and started crying. Akeno hugged her while also crying too.

The girls were crying happy tears as Issei chuckled at their reactions. "Bring it in guys!" He went towards them and hugged them tightly.

"ISSEI!!!!" They shouted while hugging him tenderly. Issei laughed happily. Meanwhile with Ophis, she was facing the six Bandersnatchs that were the only enemies left. Suddenly, a purple orb appeared in front of her.

"Kyoshiki・Murasaki!!"

She fired out her attack that erased everything in its wake. The Bandersnatchs were erased completely by it. The buildings and the ground weren't even there now.

Ophis nodded and appeared beside Issei who was busy being hugged by his lovers.

Suddenly, a shadow appeared on the ground and out came Pluto.

"Tch tch. You think you won just because you defeated some rubble?" Pluto taunted them. Issei looked at him as the girls released their hugs and got on guard again.

Issei walked towards him. Suddenly, Vali appeared emerging from a magic circle beside him.

"Hey." Issei grinned at her to which she smiled at him.

"Welcome back, Issei." Vali greeted him as he smacked her ass as his response. Vali started stuttering as she became flustered.

"W-wait! He's my opponent!!" Vali stopped him from attacking Pluto. Issei looked back at her and shrugged.

"Sure. He's yours. But that ass is mine later." Issei looked at her bubbly butt. Vali gulped and started walking towards Pluto. Pluto laughed.

"What's a girl like you going to do me?!" He taunted as Vali remained stoic to his mocking words.

"Oh you'll see." Vali suddenly got into a fighting stance.

"Vanishing Dragon, Balance Breaker!!!!"

Vali entered her Balance Breaker form, but she isn't finished yet.

"I, who is about to awaken,

Am the White Dragon Emperor who will take the law down to the darkness.

I walk the road of domination with infinite destruction and by piercing through the imaginary dream.

I shall become a pure Emperor of White Dragon

And I shall have you obey the silvery-white illusions and the perfect evil ways!"

"JUGGERNAUT OVER DRIVE!!!! "

Vali transformed into her Empireo Juggernaut Overdrive form. Her height easily towered over Pluto and she became even more menacing than she was before.

"WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" She roared majestically. She dashed towards him as Pluto raised his scythe to block her attempt to punch him.

Her punch shattered it into pieces. Vali started punching him endlessly like he was a punching bag. One punch from her broke his bones.

"Die!!!" Vali shouted as she slammed Pluto onto the ground.

"COMPRESSION DIVIDER!!!!"

Vali used Compression Divider. In this state, Vali can use an enhanced version of Half Dimension, which halves a specific target constantly until they vanish from existence.

Pluto widened his eyes as he felt his existence disappearing rapidly.

"See you never, Pluto!" Vali declared as Pluto disappeared into dust. He was nonexistent now.

She stood up straight and looked at Issei who was smirking at her. She exited her transformation and arrived beside him.

The battle was over. Now they just have to wait for Sirzechs and Azazel to return. In the meantime, they stared at Great Red as he tore open the space in front of him and flew into it.

Eventually, Sirzechs and Azazel returned. They smiled at Issei who grinned back at them.

"Brother! Did you win?" Rias asked as she hugged him. Sirzechs sighed as they hugged for a while before releasing it.

"Unfortunately, Hades escaped using a dirty trick. But don't worry, it'll be a long time before he returns to the limelight." Sirzechs explained as Grayfia ran towards him. Sirzechs grinned at her.

" Grayfia!~ My beautiful precious wife!~" Sirzechs grinned and hugged her lovingly. Grayfia became flustered as she started stuttering with a big red blush on her face.

Everyone laughed at her reaction.

Conclusion...

Because of the immense loss of manpower and the fact that the majority of its leadership had either been mostly killed or captured, the Old Satan Faction and Hero Faction were effectively dissolved.

Due to him having the ORC meet Ophis secretly without telling the other members of the Three Factions, Azazel was forced to resign from his post as Governor of Grigori, becoming the supervisor of Kuoh Town and an advisor of special technology for the Grigori. The position of the Governor of Grigori was transferred to Shemhazai.

A few weeks later in the Hyoudou Residence.....

There were a lot of people standing outside of a room. Two of them were Brave Saints, they were Irina and Griselda Quarta.

Then there were the people who were a part of the Journey To The West, they were Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, Sha Wujing and also Nezha.

Rias', Sona's, Sairaorg's, Seekvaira's peerage were also there. The Vali Team was also there.

There was also a new team called the Slash/Dog Team led by Tobio Ikuse, an agent of the Grigori and one of their top fighters, also the wielder of the Longinus Canis Lykaon. He is also Akeno's second cousin.

Tobio is a young man with short black hair and pale grey eyes. His height is 174cm and his body weight is 65kg If you ask Issei, he would describe him as a handsome man.

In battle, he wears a black combat suit, as well as a black coat.

His team members consist of 4 people. They are Lavinia Reni, Natsume Minagawa,Kouki Samejima and Shigune Nanadaru. Each of them are strong in their own right.

They were all making small talk with each other. They all have ine question in their minds, why are they all here?

Suddenly, Grayfia stepped out of the room everyone was gathered outside of. She smiled at them.

"You may enter now."

When everyone entered the spacious room. They saw Issei, Sirzechs, Azazel, and another man conversing with one another. They also saw Ophis sitting on a chair silently while eating some candy.

They noticed them. Issei smiled a little. "Sit, everyone." He said. Everyone sat in their own seats. Coincidentally, the amount of chairs placed in the room was the perfect amount as everyone got a seat of their own.

The only ones left standing were Issei, Sirzechs, Azazel and the man.

The man is a handsome young man with blond hair, green eyes, and dressed in priest clothes. He has 10 pure white wings, which are a symbol of his powers.

His name is Dulio Gesualdo and he is an Exorcist reincarnated into an Angel by the Archangel Michael as his 'Joker'. He is the possessor of the second-strongest Longinus; Zenith Tempest.

He, Sirzechs and Azazel stood to the side of the spacious room, leaving Issei at the front. Everyone's attention was on Issei now.

Issei had a serious expression on. "Everything you're about to hear is confidential information. If word gets out about what was said and happened here, you will all be purged. Understand?" Issei asked, making them shiver in fear.

"Good. You all are invited here because the world is changing rapidly. It is getting more violent with the recent events like the Demonic Beast Riot and the terrorists attacks from the Khaos Brigade." Issei then pressed a button on the remote he was holding.

The projector which was placed on a table was activated and showed a picture. Vali clenched her fists tightly, knowing the person shown.

"We also have sightings of a man called Rizevim Livan Lucifer, one of the three known Super Devils. He is the only biological son of the Original Lucifer and Lilith, Adam's ex-wife and Mother of all Devils; he is the father of Razevan Lucifer and grandfather of Vali Lucifer." Issei revealed, shocking them all. Vali gritted his teeth, she couldn't stand the sight of him.

Rizevim has the appearance of a middle-aged man in his 40's with dark silver hair and hazel eyes. He looked much like his grandson, Vali, albeit with longer hair and a beard.

He wore the same Maou Lucifer attire as Sirzechs, although colored in silver. Similar to Vali, Rizevim had multiple pairs of devil wings, but he has 12 wings. His height is 176cm and weight is 66kg.

"We do not know what his true goals are and why he is active now. But one thing is for certain, it's not good." Issei continued.

" We have reason to believe that Rizevim intends to release a beast called Trihexa, otherwise known as 666 and pit it against Great Red. " Issei pressed a button again, showing a picture. Elohim who was also in the room narrowed her eyes a little.

666 has the appearance of a large beast with characteristics coming from different animals like a lion, a leopard, a bear, a dragon, etc. It has seven necks, seven heads, with ten horns, as well as seven long thick tails of different shapes.

It also has four stout arms and two legs that are even thicker than its arms. Its main body is that of a primate leaning forward and is covered in black fur and what appears to be scales all over its body.

Its size is well over several hundred meters, making it significantly larger than even Great Red.

"This beast should never be released. A long time ago, Elohim placed thousands of forbidden seals on it, sealing it at the 'end of the world'. That is why she was severely weakened during the war between the Three Factions. " Issei revealed.

" A fight between Trihexa and Great Red can and will result in the end of the whole world." Sirzechs added, making them shiver again.

" That is why you're invited here. You're here because we want to create a team with all of you in it. The team will be a peacekeeping force to defend the mythological realms from those who would threaten the balance of the world such as Rizevim, Trihexa, the Khaos Brigade and Hades. " Issei explained.

" So, are you in? " He asked and smiled at them. Everyone looked at each other and nodded with serious expressions.

"You already know our answers Issei. It's a resounding yes." Rias told him. Issei smirked.

"Good." He muttered. Le Fay raised her hand, making Issei look at her.

"What will the team's name be called, Issei-san?" She asked. Issei grinned broadly.

"It will be called.... Team DxD...
