88 Meeting The Originator
"Hello, mother. Why did you call me here?" Issei asked Venelana who was busy reading a book. Venelana looked at him and her eyes sparkled.
"Ah, Issei! Sit here and I'll tell you!" Venelana patted the seat beside her. Issei nodded and did just that.
"I called you here because I know you became part Devil by drinking Rias' blood." Venelana revealed. Issei looked at her with a surprised expression.
"Rias told me that. I got suspicious when I saw that you have crimson hair now and I got even more suspicious when I sensed that you have become part devil. So I asked Rias, and she told me everything." Venelana explained. Issei nodded and remained silent.
" The reason I called you here is because I heard that you have the Power Of Destruction, something only she, Sirzechs, me and the Bael clan can do." Venelana looked him in the eyes. Issei got nervous a little.
" So, I'm offering you this and I think you'll be interested." Venelana reached down to the floor and grabbed something. Issei almost spat out actual blood when he saw what she was holding.
Venelana put the jug on the small round table in front of them. It was a jug full of blood. Issei gulped nervously.
"One liter of my blood, for you Issei. Drink, drink." Venelana smiled warmly at him and pushed the jug towards him.
" Wh-why? " Issei asked her. Venelana giggled.
" Drinking Rias' blood made you have the Power Of Destruction. But I know it's not complete. You need someone who's 100% Bael to unlock the true unlimited potential of the Power Of Destruction. And I just happened to be that person. " Venelana explained while smiling at his shocked look.
" So drink it Issei. "
" But—
"Drink. It. Young Man." Venelana looked at him with a menacing gaze. Issei sighed and grabbed the jug. He looked at Venelana and smiled wryly.
"Cheers."
Issei then had a dark shadow covering his face and he started chugging down the blood.
"Oh my...." Venelana muttered as Issei was gulping down her blood without stopping for even a millisecond.
"Haaa....." Issei sighed and slammed the jug onto the table. He blinked and flinched a little.
"Woah..... Not again...." Issei grumbled before slumping down and falling out of his seat.
"Ah! Issei!!" Venelana screamed in horror and caught him. She laid him on the ground and shook him.
"Rias! Rias!!! Come here! Issei fell unconscious!!!"

Issei quickly opened his eyes, scaring those who were around him. He sat up and looked around him to see, Venelana, Zeoticus, Grayfia, Rias and her peerage all standing around the room he was in.

"Issei!" Rias who was sitting on the bedside immediately hugged him. Issei hugged back.
"This feels familiar." Issei muttered, remembering the time when he drank Rias' blood and woke up with her at his bedside.
Rias released the tender hug and immediately pulled his right cheek.
Fun fact, The females in the Gremory Clan seem to have the habit of pinching their husband/lover's cheek whenever they do something embarrassing or silly. This applies to Rias, Venelana, and Grayfia.
"You silly idiot! You told me you would never do this again no matter how tempting it is! And what happened? You did it again!" Rias scolded him with tears forming in her eyes.
"I could've lost you, you know!" Rias muttered. Issei hugged her lovingly and brought her in.
"That shit can't kill me, Rias. You gotta know that." Issei whispered while cradling her. Rias sniffed.
"What can I do to earn you guy's forgiveness?" Issei asked them. He had scared the living hell out of them, so he felt guilty.
"Hmm.... I know, cook for us!" Akeno suggested happily. Issei froze.
"Ooh.... you can cook too? Them I must taste your cooking!" Zeoticus told him. Issei gulped nervously.
"If Rias' peerage are so excited about your cooking, then I must try it too! " Venelana added. Issei started sweating.
"Yes, Issei's cooking is the best." Koneko agreed with Akeno's idea. Rias snickered at Issei's super nervous face.
" Yeah, Issei. Cook dinner for us later, or else we're not gonna forgive you. " Rias teased. Issei sighed.
" Fine. " Issei grumbled, everyone cheered. At the same time, Sirzechs entered the room unannounced. All eyes were on him.
" Hello everybody, sorry to intrude but could I borrow Issei for one moment please? It's very important. " Sirzechs asked them. Rias slowly got up and forcefully pulled Issei up too.
" I'm coming, I'm coming. You guys be patient okay? I'll be right back." Issei waved at them and exited the room with Sirzechs.
They then entered an empty one. Issei closed the door and looked at Sirzechs. "So what is it? You look kinda spooked." Issei commented. Sirzechs sighed and rubbed his head.
"Runeas Gremory has woken up from her 200+ year slumber. " Sirzechs revealed.
" First of all, tell me who the hell is this Runeas Gremory first before you go on. " Issei reminded.
" Of course, listen well." Sirzechs replied.
He started gave him a history lesson.
One of the first generation of Devils spawned from Lilith by Satan Lucifer. Runeas founded the House of Gremory. In the past she had a girls-only gathering with the Original Leviathan.
She joined the Four Great Satans in the Great War against God and his Angels as well as Azazel and the Fallen Angels and survived. She kept her survival secret, so that she wouldn't get into all sorts of trouble like Zekram Bael. At some point in time, she passed her title to her child and entered retirement.
Runeas fell into slumber to stop herself from ageing mentally and continued to wake up then go back to sleep.
She had awoken when Zeoticus Gremory was a child, during the civil war (where she stayed awake until it was over) and during the Edo period. (All canon btw)
"And why are you worried about this again?" Issei asked him.
"She loves to be entertained when she awakens from her slumber. She makes her descendants entertain her, such as making father dance in the Gomorin costume. He also sang for her when he was a young child." Sirzechs gulped.
" I do not want to suffer the same fate as he did. I also do not want Rias and my son to be humiliated too. Her imagination for her own entertainment is unlimited, father dubbed her the Prankster Queen from hell." Sirzechs muttered.
" I get it. You want me to be the one who suffers while she gets entertained. You crimson haired bitch, I knew you would sell me out one day when I told you that I had drank Rias' blood. " Issei sighed and rubbed his head.
"It's not that I want you to suffer, Issei. You're the reason why she woke up in the first place. When you had fought Odin, the power you both released, specifically yours was enough to interrupt her slumber. She's searching for you, Issei. " Sirzechs explained seriously. Issei sighed.
" Alright, I'll do it. but you better give me a big raise after all of this. " Issei told him. Sirzechs nodded.
" I will. And thank you for agreeing to this, Issei. "
" Yeah yeah, just bring me to her...

(What is the Azazel Cup? I read it in the DXD wiki and I'm still confused. And also, what kind of nickname should Issei be called? He's motivating people to get stronger so I want a nickname related to that. Help pls.)
