23 Confrontation

The next day.....

Issei entered the living room of the Occult Research Club. He looked at Rias and her peerage who had serious faces on them.

They looked at him. Issei waved at them. "What's going on?" Issei asked them. Rias sighed.

" Riser Phenex and his peerage are coming." Rias explained somberly. Issei sighed.

"Well, whatever he wants with you, all it takes is a simple 'no' to send him off his tracks. " Issei encouraged her. Rias smiled and nodded.

Suddenly, a magical circle appeared in the middle of the room. Kiba sighed. "That's the crest of the Phenex Clan. He's earlier than expected." He whispered. Issei stared at the magical circle calmly.

He saw a tall and handsome young man in his early 20's with short blond hair and dark blue eyes emerging from the circle.

The young man's outfit consists of a burgundy blazer with gold embroidery on the right with matching pants and black dress shoes. Underneath his open blazer is a white dress shirt that is not fully buttoned (just one button short), giving a slight view to his chest.

This man is Riser Phenex. He is the third son of the Phenex Clan after his elder brother and an unnamed second older brother.

Riser smirked.

"Long time no see, human world. I've come for you, my dear Rias. " Riser looked at Rias seductively. Rias felt disgusted by his gaze. Issei took several deep breaths, trying to calm himself down.

'I want to beat the chicken out of this bitch. ' Issei thought to himself.

"Now, Rias. Come along so I can show you where we'll hold the ceremony. The date's also been decided. The sooner the better, I say. " Riser tried to wrapped his arms around Rias' shoulder.

Rias walked away as soon as he attempted to do that. She glared at him.

"Enough of this, Riser! As I've said countless times before, I will not marry you!" Rias declared. Riser ignored her declaration and sat down on the couch.

" But isn't your family already at their wits end over this?" Riser asked nonchalantly.

" Tch. They worry too much. They're all in such a hurry. I was promised freedom until I entered college. " Rias grumbled.

" Sirzechs and your parents are worried about the survival of your family line. We lost so many pure bloods in the three-way war against God, Fallen Angels and Devils. A number of houses were driven to extinction." Riser explained.

" So it's only natural that the name bearing pure bloods to join together to preserve our houses and bloodlines, no? Surely you understand why children born to the high-class pure bloods are so valuable. Revived devils like your servants have been filling the ranks as of late.

But that hardly does anything to strengthen our positions of our esteemed pure blood families. New blood is good, but we can't very well allow the pure bloods to all die off, can we? " Riser added intellectually. He then looked at Rias.

" Your brother, Sirzechs-sama, left your house. That leaves you, Rias, as the only successor. As more members pf the so called '72 pillars' fall, you must see that the future of all devils is tied to our impending marriage. " Riser ended his speech. Rias stayed silent and challenged his stare with her own. She snorted and crossed her arms.

"Seriously, Riser. Do you think I will be impressed at your silly speech about keeping the bloodline pure and creating a better future for all devils? Keep dreaming about this being a success, actually don't because that's fucking disgusting. " Rias cursed. Grayfia looked at the red haired beauty.

'She never curses. Wow, she must really hate him. ' Grayfia thought while observing the argument from the sidelines. She had came here with Riser but she silent stepped aside. No one except for Issei and Rias noticed her.

Riser narrowed his eyes.

"Don't you think because you have a relationship with a human that I won't let this go, Rias. Because he is just that, human filth." Riser smirked at her. Rias narrowed her eyes.

'Did Grayfia not tell him about Issei being the Red Dragon Emperor? ' Rias had unknowingly guessed correctly.

'He is playing with a very dangerous fire. ' Kiba thought while staring at Issei who was staring at her.

"Just accept it, Rias. You're destined to be with me no matter how much you deny it! We're tasked with an important mission, our marriage is for the future of the devils! " Riser ranted. He glared at her.

" Don't try to run away, Rias. If you do, me casting some binding spells and forcing you to wear that wedding dress would be an easy task. " Riser threatened her.

" That's enough out of you, buddy. " Issei gripped Riser's shoulder tightly. He wanted to crush it into bits, but he had to wait. Doing it now would only cause more problems.

Riser glared at him. "Who are you? Are you one of her servants?!" Riser demanded an answer. Issei chuckled and shook his head.

" Nah, bro. I'm Rias' human boyfriend. " Issei replied with a smirk. Riser widened his eyes and laughed.

"Hahahahaha!!!! You look so weak! As expected of a human!!" Riser laughed the loudest he has ever laughed. No one else was laughing.

"I don't know what you find funny, Riser. Care to explain?" Issei asked. Riser wiped his tears of joy.

"Oh! You're funny, human filth! You think you're gonna be the hero huh? You think you can just jump in here and save the day? " Riser mocked.

" Exactly. " Issei answered with a stoic face. Riser narrowed his eyes.

" Tch. Well, you hadn't seen nothing yet. Though I came all this way just to meet you, Rias, I don't give a flying fuck about the human world and it's filth. I too bear the reputation of House Phenex..... I won't have it sullied. " Riser glared at Issei. He then sprouted out fiery wings from his back.

" The wind and flame of this realm are foul. To a Devil who commands wind and flame, it is intolerable! I will take you back to the devil realm, Rias, even if I have to incinerate every last one of your servants!" Riser declared while looking back at Rias' peerage. Issei deadpanned at him.

" Are you supposed to be scaring me right now? Because all I see is a guy whose super obsessed with Rias." Issei taunted calmly, angering Riser even more and making Rias' peerage smirk.

" Rias, it seems that nothing will resolve this matter. If you insist on having it your way, then how would you like to settle the matter by means of a 'Rating Game '?" Grayfia suggested. Rias was interested.

"Father really prepared for all of this didn't he? Will they ever stop interfering with my life." Rias mumbled.

'Though this will be the perfect chance to dissolve the marriage. ' Rias added in her mind. She lol at Riser.

"We'll settle this with a Rating game, Riser! The winner will decide what to do with the marriage! " Rias declared. Riser laughed.

" This will be an easy win for me! It won't be much of a fight with these ragtag group of servants you have! Only your Queen even begins to measure up to my own precious servants! "Riser taunted, making Rias narrow her eyes sharply at him.

"Allow me to show you, these are my dear servants." Riser snapped his fingers. Suddenly, 15 girls emerged from the Phenex family crest. Issei clenched his fists.

'What a bastard. He has all of these beautiful women all to himself and he still wants the big prize.' Issei thought to himself.

"Icky!!"

"Riser-sama, that kid is staring at us funny. He's gross!"

Issei noticed two twins walking towards Riser.

They are two very young girls with turquoise hair, which they keep tied to one side of their head with a yellow ribbon (opposite to their sister), and blue eyes. Both of their outfits consist of gym uniforms, which consist of white t-shirts with blue accents, black leggings, and blue sneakers over knee-high socks, similar to the Kuoh Academy's girls' gym uniforms, albeit without the logo.

They also wear an orange wristband on their left wrist. Both of their chainsaws are colored blue, but they carry them in different-colored gym bags when not in use.

Their names are Ile and Nel and they are two of Riser's Pawns.

"No need for that now. It's only natural for a commoner filth to gape in envy at the upper class. " Riser wrapped his arms around the twins, Issei widened his eyes.

'He wouldn't dare! That bastard! ' Issei panicked in his mind. Just as he thought, Riser put his hand on Ile's chin and tilted her head upwards gently.

"Let's give them a show, shall we." Riser whispered. Ile closed her eyes and puckered her lips, but the kiss never came. She opened her eyes to see Riser being in a chokehold.

Issei had his claymore directly on his neck. He was looking at him with a dark shadow covering his eyes. "You're exactly who I thought you were, Riser Phenex. A boy who uses women like they are your toys. And when they are broken, you throw them away. You are the filth here. " Issei growled as he pushed his blade into his neck even more.

" Don't hurt Riser-sama, human!!!" Nel screamed as she was holding a chainsaw. Ile was doing the same.

"Haa!!!" They screamed while they were charging towards him. Issei threw Riser away and looked at the girls.

A dangerous red aura surrounded his body. Out of nowhere, the room temperature heated up and started shaking under the pressure Issei was emitting.

"Kneel." Issei growled. Ile and Nel dropped their chainsaws and knelt onto the ground in one swift motion. They were having a extremely hard time to breath. And so were the rest of Riser's peerage.

Rias and her peerage were fine as issei wasn't targeting them with his Dragon's aura.

Issei walked towards Ile and Nel. He patted their heads.

"Good girls....
