9 Journey Part-2

Just before the sudden tremble, Veru was resisting Sanim from sticking onto him, but after the sudden jerk, the two were toppled over each other as Veru heard Hina's voice.

"Get off me!" Veru whispered to Sanim, who now was over his chest, pressing them with her voluptuous chest.

"Hehe…. If Veru wants, he can try, but I am not moving." Sanim giggled, pressing them harder.

"Veru, are you okay?"

The sweet sound after stimulating his ears made him more self-conscious about his current state. His heart started to beat faster; he could feel her warm breath and smell the shampoo from the long blue hair.

With his raising his hand, he tried to move her. "I am....f-fine..."

But before he could, he stuttered as he felt the curvy waist of Sanim, he never paid attention to.

"Stop! It tickles, " said Sanim, as Veru's face was trapped in between the two voluptuous valleys.

"Geut off meaw!" Veru cried, gasping for some air.

"Okay, okay, " his body felt lighter as the girl shifted her body.

"Are you okay?" Veru shouted back, calling the two.

"Yeah, we are fine. Just stay there, and come back when you are ready."

"Ouch!"

"Veru, don't give him much of a thought. Come back here, we should be staying together."

A bitter smile came on his face. "Nah! I want some personal time. I would join you two when I feel like it."

"Are you really okay? Hose wasn't serious. If you are still angry, tell me."

"I am, but that is not the reason for me asking for some personal time. I want to be alone for a while."

"See, he is angry at you. You shouldn't have talked with him like that." Hina scolded Hose, in a light soft tone.

"If he is then let it be. He is already saying he wants some personal time, and I should gladly give him what he wants. Now I am not going to talk about anything else regarding this."

Hose curled his lips in the darkness as the ship, once again, calmed down.

"Miss. Yukima, have we deciphered the riddle?" asked Klyne in a curious tone. His eyes fixed on the piece of paper, on which were printed some scripts.

Yukima sat in the wooden chair, folding her leg over the other. "Klyne, how long have you been working under me?"

"Three years, ma'am."

"Do you know why I accepted your internship?" asked the brown-haired lady, looking at the sheet.

"It was because of my performance and contribution to the hypervelocity project, " said Klyne in a cheerful voice with a wide smile.

"Do you really believe that?" she burst out in laughter, covering her mouth, and collecting her ladylike appearance. "I am sorry, but it wasn't because of your contribution."

"Then?"

"Shouldn't you try to guess it?" chuckling, she asked the youngster.

"Hmmm, was it because of somebody's Recommendation?"

"No, I would've never accepted any recommendations. But, you are close to it."

Rolling his eyes, ramming his head in search of an answer, Klyne finally gave up. "Ugh…. I can't think of any."

Chuckling lightly, Yukima replied. "Iverson, your brother….." she took a brief pause, as Klyne's eyes widened; he froze. "Take a seat. I need to tell you something about your brother."

Grabbing the chair lying next to the table, a bottle of wine over it, he turned it, facing towards the black-eyed girl, asked. "W-What about Iverson?"

Yukima opened the bottle, during the red liquor into the glasses, she raised her hand, filling up the glass, "take it."

"I don't drink, " said Klyne in a hesitant tone.

"It's okay to drink once in a while." She raised the glass.

"Thank you for the drink, " Klyne grabbed the glass, and gulped the liquor in one breath.

"Ahhhh!"

Keeping the glass on the table with a loud sound, he asked. "So, what about Iverson?"

"Do you know what we are searching for?"

"Of course, I do. Aren't we here for collecting some tachyonic emission shown by our satellite?"

"Do you know about Iverson? His whereabouts?" Yukima filled her glass once again, with the red liquid, as she too gulped it whole in a single go.

The once cheerful face was now tensed. "According to the government's report, he is on a classified mission. I haven't been able to talk with him for the last two years. Whenever I inquire about his whereabouts they always give some excuses. Honestly, I am starting to suspect the government."

Yukima looked at his blue pupils, not a single strand of hope was left in them. Her gaze became more prominent as Klyne sensed it.

"It is just as they say. Twins share similar features. Weren't you two identical twins?"

Though she asked the question, her gaze didn't deviate from his face.

"Yes"

"It is said, twins can sense each other, are you still able to sense him?" Yukima looked at him with somewhat mixed expressions.

"What do you mean by that?"

Klyne's froze turned stiff, as his gaze fixed onto the ebony-haired girl.

"He is no more, we lost him and you are just his replacement." Yukima burst out as tears that she almost hid, expressed themselves, and drenched her coat.

"What do you mean by that?"
