118 It's Not Magic At All

"What is ha-..."

As I was about to ask myself what was happening, I saw Valeri sitting on the other side of the shaky carriage where she puts her index finger on her lips. 

I immediately knew what she meant, Lyra was sleeping perfectly. 

When I wake up, I felt my head hurting a bit, however my body felt light, my heart felt warm it feels like all the bad feelings that I have been piling up suddenly disappeared without a trace.

Slightly mesmerized by the feeling, I stayed in the same position and covered my face with my palm. 

"What the hell was that?"

I could hardly remember everything but I was indeed forced into a nightmare, and then suddenly something… or someone woke me up from that nightmare, and now I feel pleasant.

But one thing I remember was that I was engulfed by the darkness when I reached the first ship. 

"Psychological attack?... no… magic? Valeri… does such magic exist?"
