Chapter 1Transmigration

Robert woke up with a slight headache. When he opened his eyes, he saw an unfamiliar ceiling.

Slowly, he remembered that when he was taking the stairs, he had slipped and fallen.

Usually, he wouldn't be able to walk on stairs, but to prove to his wife that he was still young and healthy, he had started to climb them.

But he was really old and unhealthy, so...

"I must have died when I fell from the stairs, and now I have been transmigrated into another world."

He recalled situations like this that often happened at the very start of the web novels he usually read.

He was overjoyed. He always considered himself a man of culture.

He had always wanted to read different kinds of books before his retirement, but he never got around to it. After the age of 69, he slowly started to remove himself from all the businesses he used to manage.

After his retirement, he had a lot of time. Once, while browsing the internet, he discovered web novels. After that, he never stopped reading them.

Now that he had transmigrated like most MCs, he had to see what type of world this was.

In novels, there are different types of worlds.

Chinese novels feature cultivation, Dao, and sects, while Korean novels feature portals and leveling up. Japanese novels feature different races and dungeons.

He first wanted to see which type of world this was.

He could be in any type of world because this novel wasn't from any of those countries.

Robert wasn't choosy; he would read all types of novels and naturally didn't mind the world unless it was harmful to him. There were many novels where the MC would end up in dire situations, and he certainly didn't want that. However, among all the worlds, he found himself somewhat biased toward the cultivation trope.

Even if he wasn't biased, this author wanted to write a cultivation story, so he had to be in a cultivation world; he had no choice in this matter.

In the cultivation trope, he wanted to be overpowered. He would slap the faces of young masters. He could get a harem.

Just as he was daydreaming, the door of the room suddenly opened, and a man entered. He was a middle-aged man wearing a white coat. Apart from that, he looked like a doctor from the modern world.

The man in the white coat said, "Mr. Nicholson, you have finally woken up!"

Robert was somewhat confused. Just then, another elderly woman entered the room; she also looked like someone from the modern era.

She said, "Oh dear, thank God you're safe."

Yes, the man in the white coat was his personal doctor, and the elderly woman was his wife.

Seems like Robert had really good imagination and he was reading to many fantasy novels.

Because he was so lost in his imagination, he hadn't observed the room. It was a high-class private hospital room.

He realized that he was not dead. He was still alive in his world.

He thought he had finally transmigrated, but it was just him, DIO... ahem.

He was disappointed. He wanted to die and go to another world.

Robert was now 80 years old. He had done everything in his life. He was a successful businessman with a lot of money, so he had experienced it all.

Now, because of his old age, he couldn't do much.

After assuring the doctor and his wife, he sent both of them out of his room.

To freshen up, he went to the toilet.

After taking a piss, he was just coming out of the toilet when he slipped and fell for the second time. Coincidence, or was he injured in the same place?

And now he truly was dead.

WASTED.

He opened his eyes again and saw an unfamiliar ceiling.

Before making any conclusions, he observed his surroundings. He was now in a very old room.

Now he was sure he had transmigrated to another world because there were some unusual things in his room. There were weapons and different types of clothes that no one would wear unless they wanted to cosplay.

Suddenly, he was struck by a headache.

Yes, he received the memories of the previous owner of the body.

After sorting through the memories, he discovered that the original owner was an orphan who had lived here alone. He didn't have any friends.

In short, his life was simple. He hadn't done anything eventful in his whole life.

Robert was relieved that he didn't have to act like the original owner in front of everyone, so they wouldn't get suspicious.

He could start his new life without any problems.

A/N - This is my first time writing a novel. My first language is not English, so there will be some grammatical mistakes. Well, I will see if I can do anything. Until then, endure this.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.

A/N: Hey, dear reader... read the book, you'll love it. There will be lemons as always, just not with the same intensity and frequency as my last book. I plan to focus more on the story and relationships than flavour scenes at every turn. Though the main character is not a villain type, he isn't a goodie two shoes either. No Rape. No NTR. No Yuri. No Netori. I plan to write something where the MC's harem aren't just brainless meat sacks, but actually impact the story and the MC. Read the book, you'll love it!
