"Maman is trying to set up Felix with Charlotte for more than six months. I believe that she mentioned Charlotte to Felix first time around Christmas. Brother didn't care much about it, especially since he moved to New York and then Seattle. But maman didn't get the hint, or refused to see that Felix is not interested, and she continued talking about Charlotte even when Felix brought Sophia to meet maman."

Bridgette paused and looked at JoAnna and Sarah. "Charlotte coming here can't be a good thing… I can't reason with maman, no one can. But I want to talk to Charlotte, to see what she is up to. Can one of you keep my maman busy so that I can have a private chat with Charlotte?"
