1 1. The perfect gift (Karmon)

It was one of those days of the year when the two aliens felt the lack of home more than ever and even if they tried to hide it, those who knew them well could see that behind that smile there was so much sadness.

It was days that Mon-El was organizing the perfect Christmas day for Kara with everyone's help, even if this was not well accepted by the two friends, especially by James who still felt something that he had decided to put aside for his happiness.

The young daxmita knew nothing of the traditions of the earth, much less did he know their expressions, but he did the best job in the world.

Unfortunately not everyone goes on vacation and so when they were attacked by a giant green monster, everything he had created was destroyed, only to find himself with a couple of fake bows in his hands.

Kara was celebrating Christmas at the Danvers house but she wasn't happy, not as happy as she had been on Thanksgiving.

She didn't understand why she felt that strange sensation, but when she got the alarm that someone had attacked the base, she took off Kara's clothes and put on Supergirl's.

It didn't take much for the two to perceive each other's presence and in the exact moment their eyes met, she realized what she was missing.

Mon-El was happy to see her, but at the same time he was devastated that he couldn't give her a magical Christmas. Finding themselves facing each other, they looked at each other in the same way they always did, realizing only later that they were under the mistletoe.

The two smiled, turned red with embarrassment and lowered their eyes to their hands they were torturing, when suddenly Kara stood up on her toes and left him a soft kiss on the cheek.

Mon-El stared at her like a fool, but he was shaken by the thought of what to do; so he grabbed her hand, dragged her behind him, carried her to his room and on a table in front of them she found her gift.

It was wrapped in a strange Christmas paper and, only after paying attention to it, did he notice that they were all Kryptonian words, the same ones that were said at Christmas in his country.

He opened the gift at super speed, never stopping to smile; when she found herself a snowball and inside Krypton realized that she already had everything she needed: right there, in front of her.
