13 An Assassination!

Finna who was following behind Keane smacked the back of his head after hearing his introduction and said, "I know that it is already hopeless, but can't you at least make a good impression before becoming delusional." She openly stated her thoughts to Keane.

However, he looked at her with a confused expression, "What do you mean delusional? I am the most handsome man in the world! I dare you to find someone who is above me in this regard!" Keane was a little unhappy being called delusion.

"Sorry, I didn't mean delusional, just plain crazy."

"The only thing I am crazy for is myself."

Finna sighed at the boy in front of her and started to wonder if she should get someone to ruin that handsome face he loves so much. However, she stopped her thoughts when thinking of their conversation when they got on the jet. She decided that the demand she makes must be something near impossible (not impossible like a change in personality), even for him.

It was when they finished their conversation that Nero exited from the cockpit and left the plane. She was also talking to Sasaki, "Haha! That was thrilling! So how was it Mr. Sasaki, weren't my piloting skills terrific! There is nothing that I can't do perfectly, is there! Hahaha!"

"That is true miss, your skills were truly top notch. Even in all my years that was quite the experience. I'm sure that even Tanaka was able to learn from you."

"Umu! I am the best servant after all, it's only right that I should show off my talents for all to see. You should also praise my master for having such a capable servant such as myself."

"Yes, yes. Young Master, the little miss over there was very capable. You sure have an eye for talent."

Nero and Sasaki were talking to each other, with Nero being a little narcissistic and Sasaki praising her. Then as Nero told Sasaki to praise Keane as well, he did so and thus Keane responded, "Well it's only natural, I am Keane Akagi after all! With my aim being the number one beauty in the world, I must have capable servants with me." Keane stated this with pride while looking at Sasaki who was a little weirded out by his way of speaking.

Looking at Sasaki's reaction Finna sympathized with him and was about to help out. However, she wasn't able to enter the conversation as Nero continued, "Umu! My master will be the best in the world! I will be sure to help make everyone notice his beauty! And I will be known at the servant of the world's most beautiful person!" Finna wanted to knee Nero straight in the face when listening to her words. She knew that there would be conversations like this when they summoned her, but this is simply too much for her. It appeared to be the same for Sasaki as he was trying to escape the reality of being in front of what he thinks are super delusional freaks (which they kinda are).

While the Keane and Nero were in there blissful states, someone new spoke up, "Welcome Young Master, I am your guide during your stay here, my name is Miyako." The young woman was dressed in a black and white secretary outfit. She has shoulder-length brown hair and wears black glasses.

Keane when looking at her, thought that she should be good enough to accompany him. He was at least glad that there was no bulky bodyguard, perhaps his father had a hand when telling the person in charge of the Nagoya branch his preferences. Thus with is thoughts done, Keane responded, "Glad to have you, is our ride here?"

"Yes, it is right over there, I will lead you there now. Is there anything you would like before we reach the hotel? Perhaps something to eat?" Miyako showed him the way to car and began to form a list of places she had planned for Keane to eat, as such is her duty as his guide.

He did feel hungry as it was getting past five already (he didn't leave until the afternoon). So he responded, "Sure, you can choose the place, as long as it's good."

"As you wish, Young Master." They then reached the black car with tinted windows. Keane sighed at this common 'car for important people' trope.

After they were settled in the car, Miyako laid out the plan for him, "I will guide you around the city tomorrow as it is pretty late in the day. When we are done with that, you will have dinner with the branch leader and his family. Then on Monday, the day after, you will shadow the branch leader and his work for the next five days. Once that is done, I was told that you were allowed to spend the final Saturday here as you wish, then return that night. How does that sound?"

"That sounds good, is there anything you two want to do?" Keane nodded and then looked to Finna and Nero if they wanted to do anything, as he had nothing he wanted to do in particular.

"I think I am good."

"Can we go to see the shrines and temples by chance?"

While Finna had nothing she wanted to do, Nero on the other hand, was different. Keane was curious was to why she wanted to go there so he asked, "Why are you interested in those places?"

Nero smiled as she said, "You said that we were going to have a competition between our flims, as such I am looking for inspiration!"

Keane nodded, understanding her drive for beauty, it's only natural for her to give it her all. As such he responded, "Why not, we can go tomorrow."

"Umu!"

After a few more minutes they then arrived at the place to eat. They went on to spend around an hour in the high class restaurant and then went to the hotel.

"We have arrange a very nice grand suite for you Young Master. As it has multiple rooms, there is no need to have yourself separated far from your bodyguard and servant."

"Thank you for your work Miyako."

"It is my pleasure to serve you Young master, as such think nothing of it."

Like that the day then ended with Miyako leaving and letting Keane know she will be back next morning to show them around. Keane and co. then went up to their room where they intended to have a nice peaceful sleep.

Currently outside on the rooftop of the hotel were a group of ninjas sent to assassinate Keane.

"It appears that the target has went to sleep leader."

"Good, let's carry the plan out nice and smooth. There should only be one guard there and she is just little girl. I doubt the Akagi family would be so careless to not protect their next heir so be sure to say on guard against her."

"""""Yes sir!"""""

The ninjas then grappled down a floor to where Keane's room was. It was currently dark inside and outside the room, so there was no problem with whether or not they were found out. The group was wearing night vision goggles as such there were no issues with their own sight.

Arriving at the window connected to Keane's room, one of the men took out a device to cut through the glass. Placing it on the window, the device cut out a circle large enough for the members of the ninja group to go in one by one.

When it was done, the same member removed the device and then kicked on the window to push himself inside. The glass dropped on the soft carpet with a thud, and the members went in one at a time. Now the room was filled with a total of five people, four of them being the members of the ninja group, while the other being Keane. Right now the bodyguard and maid, should be in the other rooms, making Keane all alone.

One of the men then walked up to the bed that had a human shaped object on it. Deciding that it was most likely Keane's body the ninja went and stabbed it.

However, the knife went straight through the object as if it was an illusion.

And it was, Keane and everyone else knew that the ninja's were coming to kill him. He told Finna and Nero that he would take care of it since he wanted to raise his level. As such, he casted an illusion and watched as the ninjas came into his room one by one, while he was simply standing off to the side.

Keane watched as himself got stabbed and felt very angry. Even if it was a fake, he didn't like to see such a beauty be stabbed, as such he took action immediately after they found out the illusion. He created a simple water slice to cut off one of the ninjas heads, then prepared to take out the next one. Keane preferred to take one of them alive to find out who sent them, but he already thought of the most likely suspects.

The others in the group, noticing that one of their own was down, immediately took a battle stance to the presence that appeared after the illusion disappeared. Keane then created another water slice and threw it at the next target, but he was able to dodge it barely. Keane thought of how troublesome ninja were verses magic as they have very good agility and dodging abilities. He thought about using his gravity magic, but if he did then there was a chance it would break the floor below them. He preferred not to drag attention to himself.

As such, to keep it as simple as possible, Keane created another illusion of countless water slices appearing mid air and going after them. There were only a few real ones mixed in and effectively finished off two more of the ninjas.

Satisfied with his work, he turned to see the one he thought of as their leader, trembling in fear, "What are you!?!?!? YOU MONSTER!!! Eeeeeeeeek!" The leader was so scared of the appearance of such an unknown that he wet himself.

Keane walked up to him and was about to use his charmer ability to make the leader talk, but all of a sudden the man who was suppose to be trembling in fear, sat silently on the ground. This was because he killed himself, making Keane mad for being so careless.

"No matter, they will be sure to come back again later." He was confident that it was not over yet, and he would see more ninjas by the end of his trip in Nagoya.

Excited he was one more level away from getting a new job, he alerted Finna and Nero that it was done. Keane felt a little weird as he just killed someone, but he overcame his uncomfortableness as he knew that he may have to kill more in the future.

"So what do you want to do now?" This was Finna's question as she looked at the four bodies.

"By chance could you deal with them, I am not at a level high enough were I can do it myself." His sub-jobs weren't high enough where he can simply get rid of the bodies. Over the past six months, he was able to get half way through his intermediate Air, Earth, Fire, and Water sub-jobs, this made it clear it was harder to improve the later he got into his sub-jobs.

Keane could burn them, but it would create a mess and wasn't sure if he would be able to burn the bodies all the way through the bone. He would like to use his space magic to teleport them to the middle of the pacific, but he couldn't use long range teleportation yet and would have to wait a few more years. Thus, his only option was to ask for Finna to deal with it.

Finna sighed as this was simply not a job for an angel, but followed along with it as it was simple for her to completely disintegrate them. With that done, they then went back to their own rooms and slept as if nothing happened.

Well at least that was true for Finna and Nero, but for Keane he was still a little restless after what happened. He didn't know what to think of people wanting to kill him, but in the end he resolved himself to stop anyone who tried to ruin his beauty. With those thoughts in mind he went back to his slumber.
