Walking along the slightly moss-covered dungeon walls. Alvar is continuing his slaughter on the 8th floor.

Alvar is planning to gather more magic stones to do more tests with mana circuits to see what the limits might be.

'This floor is quite boring...' Alvar thought and continued his walk.

'All that changes on this floor is the size of the rooms and the grass covering the ground.' Alvar shook his head in disappointment.

The 8th and 9th floor spawns stronger versions of the monsters on the higher floors. This doesn't bother Alvar as he easily continues through both floors.

Alvar walked down to the 10th floor and was greeted by a floor covered in mist.

'I can sense a few Needle Rabbits and Orc-like monsters near me.' Alvar started walking towards the Orcs.

The three Orcs noticed Alvar approaching them and started to charge at him. The Orc in the front tried to crush Alvar with its fists, but Alvar jumped out of the way and took out his two scythes from his storage. The other two Orcs tried to grab Alvar from the air but he used his scythes and cut off their arms instead.

The two Orcs started screaming in pain alerting the monsters in the area. When Alvar landed, he threw his scythes like a boomerang and used his telekinesis to slice off the three Orc's heads.

Alvar brought back his scythes and gathered mana into their blades. He started feeling a sound coming from the bat-like monsters that increased his concentration.

'It's strange being helped by creatures trying to kill you.' Alvar let out a chuckle and slashed his scythes in an arc, killing all the monsters that were on the floor.

Alvar compressed the air into multiple balls and fired them off to finish all the flying monsters and started collecting all the magic stones that were scattered around the area.

Alvar made his way down to the 13th floor and killed any monsters on his way there. He walked inside the 'Cave Labyrinth', This was the name given to the 13th to 17th floor because the walls, ground and ceiling are made of bedrock with a more complex layout which includes intertwining upper and lower tunnels.

'The Hard Armored's shell would make decent armour and the same goes for those Infant Dragon.' Alvar thought while walking through the maze. He realized that some monsters would make for good materials, but the problem is the monsters would dissipate as soon as they die.

So Alvar skinned them alive to get the necessary materials he wanted to use. Every time the monster would be close to death, Alvar would heal them and continue skinning them.

'I wonder what type of mana circuits I should carve on the armour?' Alvar shook his head.

'I shouldn't focus on that for now.' Alvar sighed and continued through the dungeon.

Suddenly, Alvar dodged to the right when he felt five fireballs being fired at him and fired multiple water bolts at the Hellhounds behind him. They all jumped out of the way but the water bolts bounced off the walls and hit them from behind causing them to lose balance.

Alvar then paralyzed them and took out his knife.

'Their hide should be able to make fire-resistant armour.' The Hellhounds started shivering from fright just by seeing Alvar's grin.

Alvar's journey to the 15th floor wasn't very interesting apart from a few Dungeon Worms trying to eat him and getting torched from the inside out instead.

But something on this floor instantly caught his attention, a mantis that was made out of crystal. This was a Crystal Mantis. A difficult monster to deal with for adventurers because its body has a slight magic resistance.

'I can use that...' Alvar's eyes started shining with curiosity and wonder. He was struggling to keep his race's innate curiosity in check.

Alvar took out a platinum pickaxe and rushed at the mantis and shattered its legs and threw them in his storage. He started slowly and carefully breaking apart its body and storing it so that none of it disappears.

'Hope there's more of these types of monsters.' Alvar couldn't help but smile at the thought but was interrupted by heavy footsteps coming from behind him.

Alvar turned around and was greeted by a Minotaur staring him down. The Minotaur let out a howl and charged at him.

Alvar redied his pickaxe and brought it down and pierced the Minotaur's skull, instantly killing it.

'Rude.' Alvar thought and started searching for the entrance to the next floor... and Crystal Mantises... one isn't enough for gear.

After a couple of hours of hunting Crystal Mantises and Hellhounds. Alvar made his way to the 17th floor and noticed that the silver orb's 'pull' has gotten a lot stronger and it is glowing a lot brighter than before.

'It seems she's almost at floor 18.' Alvar took in a deep breath to calm his anxiety and walked inside the room where the first Monster Rex (Boss) spawns.

Its name is Goliath, a large grey skinned humanoid monster. This monster is stated to be a level four and spawns from the Big Wall of Grief, a massive wall inside the dungeon room.

Sensing that someone walked inside its room. The Goliath glared at the intruder and let out a roar. It started running towards Alvar causing small vibrations to go through the ground.

'Weaker than I expected... but it will do.' Alvar took out the last Magic Crystal and crushed it letting the spell go free.

A golden colour started seeping out of crystal shards and formed a small golden dome around Alvar.

The Goliath tried to punch the golden dome causing a small crack to appear on the dome.

'It should be able to hold at least four to five punches from the Goliath until it cracks... but that should do for now. I should go to the next floor.' Alvar broke the dome and created a spear made out of fire and threw it at the Goliath's head and pierced it.
