11 Annoyance

"Hey, Ryuu!" Said the girl with a cheerful smile on her face

"Hi, Syr. I can see you finally decided to show up at work." Ryuu said with a small smile on her face

"Well... I was a bit busy hehe." Syr said while scratching her cheek a bit.

"Eh? who is he? Is he perhaps your boyfriend!? why didn't you tell me anything, Ryuu!" Syr said in a teasing tone.

"This is Alvar, he's staying here in one of the rooms and he's not my boyfriend either." Ryuu denied it with a small blush on her face.

While Syr and Ryuu were talking to each other. Alvar just took out his diary from his 'backpack' and started writing in it, completely ignoring them.

'Hmm, magic stones are used to store mana just like a battery. But am I able to store something inside it that uses mana? Like a spell perhaps?' Alvar pondered while writing them down.

"Eh? where did you get that book from?" Asked Syr curiously.

'It seems Ryuu left.' Alvar thought noticing she left.

"I made it." Said Alvar while he continued writing.

"What language is that? I can't tell what you are writing at all." Syr asked curiously but with a hint of surprise as well.

"There's a lot of different languages in the world. So that shouldn't be a surprise. As for the language I'm writing in, it's one I made up." Alvar said.

"You made a language?" Syr asked with a shocked face.

"I was pretty bored when I was younger." Alvar said with a chuckle.

"You sound like an old man." Syr said with a teasing smile on her face.

"Who knows? I might even be older than you." Alvar said with a grin.

"Oi, are you implying that I'm old?" Syr asked with a bit of anger in her voice.

"Who knows?" Alvar asked rhetorically while placing his diary inside his backpack

'She seems to have a charming ability and her aura is also... compressed in a way. Like she's trying to hide it.' Alvar thought while he glanced at her.

Syr's eyes started glowing with a tint of pink while she stared at Alvar, but all that Alvar felt is his mind getting calmer.

'Glad I picked the Skull Crown otherwise this girl would be very annoying to deal with.' Alvar thought annoyed but he still put on a small smile.

Syr noticing the smile, thought that her charm worked and silently asked in a flirtatious tone

" Can you do something for me~?"

"Hard pass." Alvar instantly denied .

Syr just stared at Alvar with a shocked expression, although it seems that there was a small blush on her face.

'Is she a masochist?' Alvar thought annoyed.

'I have a feeling she's going to be a lot of trouble in the future.'

"I-Is that so? sorry for bothering you I have something... There's something have to do." Syr said stuttering a bit and running out.

"What did you do to her?" Ryuu asked when she returned.

"I don't know and I don't want to know." Alvar sighed while shaking his head for a bit and went to his room leaving a confused Ryuu behind.

Walking inside his room, Alvar sat at his desk and took out his diary again.

'Tomorrow I'll be focussing on smithing and crafting so I should start planning on what .' Alvar thought for a bit, until a smile started forming on his face, completely forgetting about Syr.

'This new world is pretty exciting. It has so many new things I have to try out and new things I have to figure out. Like how the falna's work. if falna's are used to help people get stronger by killing monsters. What will happen if I placed it on a weapon? Would it grow stronger as long as I use it to kill? or will it shatter? What if I managed to place the falna on Stardust? Would he get stronger as well?' Alvar thought with an excited expression on his face.

Alvar just shook his head and wrote it down. There's no point getting excited over something he's unable to use.

Alvar took out a blueprint and a blue magic stone. He's planning on figuring out more about the stones and if he is able to infuse a spell inside them.

'Let's see...' Alvar thought while writing on the blueprint.

-----------*Scene change*-----------

Inside the dungeon on floor 37. People call this floor the white palace because the walls, ceiling and floor are white, with a lot of space between the hallways and rooms.

Inside this floor, in one of the open rooms, the Loki familia is currently resting. It took a lot out of them to be able to reach this floor, but their resources and weapons are running low.

"I think it's time to pack up and leave. This expedition was only meant to test our limits and it seems we have reached ours for the moment." Finn, the Loki Familia captain, said to his team.

"Of course, Captain! I'll follow anything you say!" Yelled a girl with dark green eyes and long brown hair. She was Tione, an Amazoness.

"Yup! I am ready to leave as well!" said Cali with a bit of excitement in her voice.

An elf with jade-coloured hair and the same coloured eyes curiously started at Cali. This is Riveria, the Vice-captain.

"You have been acting quite strangely ever since that stone of yours started glowing. Is that also the reason you wish to leave the dungeon so fast? You usually rush in head first with Ais but this time you're a lot more... careful?" Riveria asked curiously.

"N-no not at all, I'm not acting differently at all!" Cali stuttered while looking at the side, she seems to be a bad liar.

Cali could feel how Riveria keeps staring at the stone with interest and curiosity.

"I won't let you have it!" Cali said covering the stone up with her hands.

"I just want to study it for a bit." Riveria said while the corner of her mouth started twitching.

"I refuse." Cali said in a serious tone.

"Fine, fine." Riveria said changing the topic.

"So, Finn when are we planning on leaving? It seems some of the members are still tired." asked Riveria.

"In a couple of hours, it will be enough time for everyone to rest for a while." Finn said while rubbing his thumb.

"That stone of yours keeps causing my thumb to ache." Finn said, squinting at the stone.

"Don't. even. think about it." Cali said staring at Finn while he just shook his head.

I hope I was able to write the characters' personalities, but if they're slightly different then ill keep it that way :P
