13 Alteon and Gravelynn
'Hmm, Maybe I can add a few more circuits?' Alvar thought with a grin, this is the 'curse' of his race. When they find a 'new' magic system, metal etc. it will cause them to instantly become curious and try to figure out how it works depending on their speciality. A ranger would be focused on anything ranger related and a mage would be focused on anything magic related.
It's like how dwarfs enjoy smithing and Elves focus on nature and magic while Alvar's race is based on the entire 'class' they want to be, from how their weapons are made to their fighting style.
What makes Alvar different is the fact that he's the last of his race and has an interest in all of the different 'classes'. Be it magic to melee, his curiosity about how their fighting styles work and the different weapons that could maximize their performances intrigues him to no end.

'What type of elemental ports should I add? and what should their intent be? hmmm,' Alvar was sitting on a desk inside his crafting room with the broadsword on the table.
'Why does it feel like I interrupted something?' Alvar thought a bit confused but he just shook his head and continued thinking about the broadsword in front of him.
'It's the first weapon I made with mana circuits, so it has to be better than just ignoring wind resistance.' Alvar started thinking.
'How about adding fire? Fire not only represents destruction but also rebirth. This broadsword would represent how I changed my world from being filled with chaos and corruption into a place of peace and purity.' Alvar thought while carving new mana circuits.
The elemental ports Alvar picked were light to sense if the wielder is worthy and fire to ignite the blade.
Alvar also added another light port but this time it senses if the wielder wants to activate the mana circuits. There's no point in having a weapon that's always on fire.
'Let's add a secret mana circuit as well.' Alvar thought while carving another one with a grin on his face.
Alvar finished carving all the circuits and picked up the broadsword while watching it ignite.
"A sword created by a 'King' with the intent of creating a new one. Your name is Alteon." Alvar said with a grin on his face.
With Alvar's 'flame' ignited. He decided to make another sword, but this time it was going to be a rapier.
Alvar walked towards the furnace and took out a new type of metal. This metal looks similar to tin but has a more 'Holy' type of glow to it. This is a Hallowed bar, which has high compatibility with light magic.
Alvar controlled the purplish red flame that was inside the furnace and let the flame engulf the hallowed bars, turning them into a yellowish silver-coloured liquid.
Alvar used the flames to form it into a long thin blade. Then he took out a bar of Mythril to use as the core of the blade and gold for the handle and the guard of the rapier.
Alvar carefully placed his hand on the guard of the sword and dispersed the flame that was covering the rapier.
Alvar used ice magic to slowly cool off the rapier. After that was done he started wrapping a purple-coloured cloth around the handle for a better grip.
Alvar didn't use the anvil because it wasn't necessary with these types of metals.
'This would do.' Alvar thought while taking the rapier towards his desk.
Alvar started scribing a new mana circuit with the ports being light.
'I'll reuse the earlier port and have this sword pick its wielder, but this also gave me an idea. If I'm able to make a circuit where the sword can judge the user. Can I make one where the sword also 'judges' the opponents?' Alvar wondered.
'To do this I will use light mainly because Hollowed bars improve its effects. Now as for the intent, the rapier would 'feel' the emotions or will of the user and act according to them. Its main goal is to sense impure thoughts or emotions targeted at the wielder and warn the wielder when necessary. If the opponent is a 'sinner' or a 'monster' the rapier would do more damage with light magic.' Alvar thought while scribing the multiple mana circuits onto the rapier.
'The Mythril core also allows the wielder to infuse their own element they specialise in and infuse it with light to increase its damage.' Alvar thought while he finished scribing the last pattern.
"A weapon that's meant to go against evil and injustice. Your name will be Gravelynn." Alvar said while feeling the rapier shake a bit, almost like it felt happy.
"I can't wait to see your and Alteon's wielders," Alvar said with excitement, while he felt like Gravelynn agreed.
After Alvar finished up the last few touches on Gravelynn and Alteon he decided to make some more normal swords, katanas, spears and arrows while he was here.
After Alvar was done he took the two weapons and the other mass produced swords he made earlier and started walking toward the entrance of his workshop.
Alvar started filing up the empty racks with some swords, spears and made some quivers filled with arrows and hung them on some of the racks.
Alvar also made special holders for Alteon and Gravelynn and placed them on the desk to attract the attention of the people walking by.
'Now I need a name for my workshop otherwise there wouldn't be a point in the first place.' Alvar thought while scribbling down a few name ideas he could think of.

Omnipharmacon - The name of a building in a game (I think) that sells magic items, scrolls, potions etc.
Pandora's Box - I like this name because you neither know what Alvar will make XD and breaking into the workshop would be like opening the box :P

Ars Magica - the same as the reason as Mana and Artifice
