2 Shaky Beginnings

Well Shit, while Danmachi may look happy and fun, ultimately it was a nightmare hidden by a pleasant overview. If one was to go deeper and actually look at what Danmachi was, they'd realize that it was a clusterfuck in which surviving day by day involved going down to the dungeon and risking your life fighting monsters to earn stones that were worth Valis. Not to mention the fact that the Gods roamed around and acted like spoiled children, and if a single God decided that he/she had enough and released their arcanum they could easily wipe Orario off the map. Oh and did I mention the fact that the Zeus familia who were probably full of lvl 4-6s were still wiped out in the end?

Oh well no use thinking about depressing stuff, if worst comes to worst then I'll just have to activate Madness Enchantment, not that I'm looking forward to doing that thought.

Let's see, the first thing I should do is to join a familia after all if a "suspected" lvl 5-6 ran muck in the city without a God/Goddess its bound to attract attention and thats definitely not in a good thing in this world. Now the question is should I join the Loki familia or the Hestia familia? If I joined the Loki familia then theres no need to hide my powers since the Loki familia was strong enough to scare away any random god trying to poach children. But if I joined the Hestia familia then theres less people who would know my secret, not to mention the fact that Hestia was actually a really nice Goddess and the fact that I would be able to influence how the story goes by staying next to Bell Cranel aka the MC of the story.

It was only after 20 minutes of mentally weighing the cons and pros of each familia that I realized I was standing in the middle of the street staring at the sky like a idiot and people were starting to point and whisper at me.

'AGGHHHHHHHHH! so embarrassing!', also I hereby deny any future claims that I looked like a balloon about to explode, so please... just forget about it alright!? Nothing happened, nothing at all.

After a while I finally decided that it was a better idea to join the Hestia familia since the show portrayed her as a loving and caring Goddess and having a low familia count would also allow me to update my Falna regularly and being next to the MC was just another benefit, yup totally just a side benefit, totally not for the sake of plot relevance, TOTALLY.

But first gotta remove this armor otherwise it'd look suspicious that a newly minted lvl 1 would have a armor that spewed out darkness. Hmm, if i remember correctly the armor technically wasn't "armor" but was mana shaped into the form of armor. I concentrated for few seconds and though of the armor disappearing and lo and behold it did.

And while I was expecting this, I was still shocked by how I looked. My new appearance was nothing like my old one, for one thing I didn't have short purple hair nor did I look like I was about to pass out at any moment.

After taking a few minute to process the shock, I proceeded to the abandoned church that Hestia and Bell were living in though I had to ask for directions once in a while from people around me, nice people I tell ya. But man while the anime showed that Orario was big, it still didn't do it enough justice, Orario was friggin massive! it took me like a hour and a half before I was even remotely near the church.

And here I stood before two wooden doors doing something I never would've considered possible prior to being ROB'D.

I knocked on the doors and heard a low shout of "coming!' from within the church, and after a few seconds the doors revealed to show Hestia in all her godly glory and I knew Danmachi wanted to have a bit of fan service but seriously lady, you do realize your entire bust is supported by practically a single piece of string!?! MUST RESIST!!!

I was interrupted out of my internal monologue when Hestia asked "Hello, do you need something?" with a head tilt and that was when I was struck with the raw power of cuteness 'HNGGGGGGG', what a dangerous power indeed.

Anyway back the more important matter on hand I replied " Hello Hestia-sama, my name is Lucio Denmark and I was wondering if I could join your familia?". Hestia's reaction? Well lets just say I saw something tackle me like a mini-rocket before slamming into my torso, though it didn't hurt at all.

"Really!?!, you want to join my familia!?" Hestia asked while practically hyperventilating.

"Yes Hestia-sama".

"b.b..but my familia only has one child, are you sure you don't want to join other bigger familias? not that I don't want you to join" asked Hestia while waving her hands side to side.

"I'm sure, while your familia might only have one child I'm confident it'll expand not to mention bigger familias generally impose restrictions on their children" I replied

"Alright if you say so" said Hestia nonchalantly though she was vibrating with excitement.

"Come in" Hestia said.

I followed her as she asked and we both sat around the couch.

" So first things first, have you ever been in another familia Lucio-kun?" asked Hestia

"No, I've only recently arrived in Orario" I said

"Next do you know how to fight? sending someone who doesn't know how to fight even with a falna is rather dangerous, you know!" pouted Hestia

"Yes, I've trained a bit in the past so I at least know the basics" I replied

"Thats good Lucio-kun, now the final part could you take off your shirt and lay on your back?" asked Hestia

" You want me to stripe?!" I teased, I mean how many people could say you teased a immortal being who's likely a few thousand times older than you?

" NO, yes!, uuhhhhhhhhhh?!" Hestia's head spun around while her head steamed, she stopped once she saw the smirk on my face though.

"Mou, your not supposed to tease a goddess you know?!" pouted Hestia

" Alright, alright" I said as I took off my shirt and heck even I was stunned by what I saw, Lancelot had like a eight or ten pack and it was like the Abs had Abs.

" Now lay on your back" requested Hestia

I layed on my back and Hestia got onto my torso, I already knew what she was going to do though. A God/Goddess needs to have their blood on the back of a mortal to either create or update the falna of a adventurer so that they may become stronger and begin their journey to divinity.

I grunted as I felt something hot on my back, not hot enough to burn but still enough to startle me.

" Hestia-sama is it done?" I asked but I didn't get a reply

"Hestia-sama?"

I turned around and I saw Hestia staring at the paper that contained a copy of the falna that I now had, but what concerned me was Hestia was gaping and shaking.

I'm just going to assume that me being a demi-servant affected the falna somehow?

Oops.
