30 Aftermath Part 1

Inside her personal room inside the Twilight Manor, Loki laid on her back with one hand resting on her forehead as her red eyes seemed to shine at times as she dazedly stared at the roof. Even though it's been several days since that day, those images kept flashing in her mind no matter how much she tried to forget them much to her annoyance as if they were ingrained into her soul

Along with the feeling of dread and helplessness she never thought she'd one day feel for she was always the one who played with people lives in the palm of her hand and the fact that someone did the same made her angry as she unconsciously flared her divinity constantly destroying her room.

She couldn't help but clenched her fist in frustration when she remembered those piercing blue eyes that condescendingly looked down on her entire being and how easily he removed her divinity that always gave her a comfort of mind even when she faced that slut causing her to feel restless and unsure of herself

' should I tell the other Gods about him and group together to deal with him ?' pondered Loki as those eyes flashed once more in her mind causing her to involuntarily shiver and she couldn't stand the thought of becoming his enemy, which made her even angrier as she unconsciously summoned her divinity causing the entire manor to shake and crack started to appear in different places causing the others that weren't there to wonder who pissed off their ever smiling Goddess

But the same scene could be seen happening with the main party causing other's to be confused but they decided to ignore it at the moment as they noticed the strangeness in the dungeon as they were leaving causing them to become alert especially when they felt the earlier earthquake but since they receive no orders from their captain they could early continue to make their way to the surface

As they reached the higher floors they started to relax because they highly doubted that there was anything here that could harm them before they saw that the leading party suddenly stopped causing many to become confused before they started hearing growls, thinking it to be the normal monsters of this level they relaxed once more but the more attentive ones started to notice the distinct differences in the growls they hear every time they enter the dungeon and gripped their weapons tighter and looked around vigilantly

No one notice the shadows surrounding them from all sides but the stronger or more sensitive started to feel slight unease at the situation before all of the growling or roars halted and the surroundings fell silent but the unease only grew the longer it continued before one of the supporters notice movement out of the corner of his eye and started to slowing walk toward the area to investigate

The supporter was confused as he watched the shadow of one the rocks moved around weirdly drawing him into a trance as he moved closer only to halt abruptly before slowly lowering his head as blood flowed from his lips only to find a shadowy hand piercing through his chest, he didn't get to open his mouth before the owner of the claw slowly stepped out of the shadow his last thought being the fact that it looked similar to those war shadows he could previously dispose of easily before his lifeless body hit the ground

The noise finally alerting those around him as Finn suddenly bellowed and ordered them to raise their guard only for it to be drowned out by the screams of unsuspecting victims to the ambush of the war shadows making those who were prepared finally saw what was surrounding them before they retaliated and starting pushing them back

While this was happening, Riveria who finally cleared the area surrounding finally found the time to closely observe their enemies and couldn't help but frown she noticed the differences, their features were obviously more distinct and they were more robust and their 3 claws were longer and clearly sharper as she had witnessed them tearing through the lower leveled adventurers armor and chipping the swords of the level 4's

She was brought out her thoughts by a high pitch screeching making her remember that there were other monsters on this floor, as several humanoid ants rushed towards them to join in the fight
