Is it wrong to ask a stranger to help a Goddess?

Red Goblin

Compared to a normal Goblins, Red Goblins has a dark skin and stripes of glowing red, is what I see and according to my Appraisal-sama, Red Goblin is its name. In addition, one of its arms is holding a blunt weapon made of a tree trunk.

"Kwaaak!!!" the Goblin then cried out as if it was trying to said something. But I wasn't concerned about a little of its detail but to a little girl who is wailing while embracing an elder man while crying a word 'Papa' and 'Help' as the blood of an elder man are still dripping in fresh. So, there's no way that Goblin isn't the source of this murder.

Watching these traumatic scene, I immediately charged while using <Eagle Stomp> and <Shield Thrust> diagonally towards it. though it dodge my Shield, I killed it with one swept of my sword, it screeched aloud and turned to ashes as its magic stone was dropped from the ground.

I tried to open and close my hand. To think a mere goblin evaded my first attack, a surprised and swift attack at that. Unlike the Virtual game I played. Monsters here are gore and bloody, if you didn't destroy their inner core or kill them in an instant, their blood would spill and remain even if you already killed them.

Watching this horrific scene. The girl whose wailing is now restraining her tears and grab the purple colored Magic Stone that drop from the goblin. "Mister, why?" She muttered looking at the stone but I didn't hear or get what she meant as multiple of Goblins came running towards us in all directions the same time with their battle cry.

I can kill them all but fighting while protecting this little girl and an elderly is too much. so I immediately checked the Elder's pulse assuming that it was her father, but he's already beyond saving. His breath is ragged and flashes of light within his retina is growing dim.

Time is of the essence so I lift up the girl. I charged out and away from these forest as my way from the very start is towards that place—while killing my way from the Goblin encirclement.

"I'm sorry little one but that man is beyond saving" I explained whilst kicking an empty air. But her pupil is turning in dark and hallow as she didn't squeak even a single sound other than her own breathing and tears that almost flowing from her cheek. Hand hardly gripping the Goblin's magic stone that I first killed.

Really, what is her problem? I saved her did I? What's more, I'm not fond of children, after all I'm an unica hijo and no other relatives remain. Also, I hate childrens.

Well, that thought aside.

After a couple of hours, I shake the Goblin pursuers off. Within this forest, it is very surprising I didn't shake them off for a couple of minutes while using my movement skills. but I guess its already infested by this Goblins as they tracked me, as if this forest are their playground. And one more thing is, my Mana Points are still unshown, if I happen of having a Mind Down—according to Gramps. I'll be screwed for sure. But nonetheless, all is well and and is well.

I then glance towards the little girl after putting her down but like the last time, she's still quiet.

After a couple of days and we still haven't yet to converse—with little girl in tow and only let her eat by giving her the food I had— I at last found an encampment while moving straight towards west.

Unlike in the city of Lucrios 10 days after parting with gramps, a city who doesn't have any Insignia signifying as God's Familia flag or others says—a god forsaken City. This encampment had the insignia of a Bow and Arrow over a crescent moon in a blue banner. Standing still at the very center of an open space field.

After checking its flag. I confirmed it was the Artemis Familia. Hmm the Goddess of the hunt? the goddess of virginity(?). "Damn it! My gut feel tells me to run away from here!" Is what I utter.

First, the Amythyst all Girls Guild and now this... But I can't have this little girl in me during my travel right? And who knows if she still has a parent or relatives on any of the nearby village or city.

Shaking the idea of running away from Artemis Familia, I continue moving towards their encampment

When I was 50 meters away from the biggest tent, A small girl blocked my way after seeing me and according to my Appraisal, her race is a Pallum.

What the hell is that?

"Halt! You're not allowed to enter!" She ordered me to do so, but using <Air Walk> and kicking the air 3 times with <Eagle Stomp>, I beautifully landed in front of the biggest tent. Her mouth turned perfect circle but I care less.

I then kneel in one with that perfect landing--so I scored myself a 10 and reached out the little girl on my arm.

And because this is the first time seeing god in a flesh. I give my courtesy—

"I beg your pardon for my intrusion, please help her or take her, and I will Immediately leave without looking back"

But I was embarrassed after a girl with long blue hair and frail skin walked towards on my side "Oh dear, that tent is empty right now" she chuckled after watching my kneeling position.

Like what she said. The tent is indeed empty and the curtain is widely open. Either way, this big tent is hers.

Just like Gramps said. Its easy to perceive Gods with their Holy or Divine aura that was leaking. Though faint, even an ant could feel that a God is actually in front of them.

Well, the feeling? I guess, someone you fancy are smiling sweatly towards you and say 'I love you', but your heart isn't the one who beats faster but your soul instead. I see, so this is what it feels like when you are infront of a God. It gives of a aura of Comfort. Now I remember the old man from her presence.

"Goddess-sama help her, find her parents or the cause of her hollowed eyes. I'm not good at dealing with children, much more of their health issue. So please check her condition and I'll Immediately leave if you may say so", I stand up and look at the Goddess Artemis. Yes, in front of me is the Goddess Artemis. Its been a day but the small girl is not talking which annoys me so I want to ditch her right here!

While saying so, I look towards Artemis. She's too cute with her green eyes. even though she isn't the Goddess of Beauty, she can fascinate every man with her own cuteness and charm.

Ye ye ye! With those simple thoughts, I shake my head. After then, I look towards her again. . .

But unlike normal people, I can't identify the the Goddess' background other than her name using Appraisal-sama

As far as I know, she's a goddess of Purity? or maybe chastity? I forgot. I'm not studying Greeks or roman Gods or other gods afterall, other than the popular one of course. Wait? Greek Gods? bah, lets deal with that later

"I can help her out with my Familia members, but why are you in such a hurry?" Hearing her question. I can't help but swallow my own saliva

The truth is. I am afraid to get dragged again from the trouble when girls are involv—

Is what I thought. But before finishing them, one of Artemis member called her, "Artemis-Nyama, Lante and others are in trouble nya!" Says by the girl with a mix of almond and white hair with the ears of a cat.

A Werecat. Hearing her cute voice made my spine cringed in. She's cute too for me to witness the beauty of a beastman. but her way of speech? pfff, I wanna laugh.

Thanks to that word of hers my whole body shivered as I wanted to laugh but I can't, I shouldn't! I continue to cringed because of that.

"How about Rethusa. What happen to her?"

"She's still inside the cave along with others Nya! But Lante's squad are in more trouble nya!" Hearing their conversation, I felt my spine tingled and my inner intestine starts tickling. I stealthily glance from left to right but other than the Werecat and the Pallum and Artemis-sama, there's no more person here to back up the said group. The goddess then look towards me.

"Goddess. Don't tell me!?" The little Pallum look at Artemis-sama who is still glancing towards me. I sweated heavily with just the thought it gives.

"We don't have any choice, Meowsui and Amarui's group are still clearing the Goblin's Nest"

Artemis then looks at me and in deep trouble as if she already appraised my ability but still ask what's on her mind, "Is it wrong to ask a stranger to help a Goddess?" She said so to me whilst I shake my head.

"N..no.. Not.. I mean, I'll help them in exchange for you taking care of that child" I look at her in straight and pointed the unconscious child. Can she sense how strong I am? is that possible? is what I thought.

"Then Please help us... uhm—"

"Zetta! Call me Zetta, Goddess-sama" saying those reply from her words, I look at the Werecat girl with a slight nod. Damn, here we go again. This is the quirk of mine that I hated the most!
