1 Chapter 1

𝗞𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆'𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝘃

"Let's go Elena! Your grandparents will be here any minute to pick us up!" I tell my four-year-old daughter Elena while I check over the apartment. "Coming mommy!" As I'm fixing Elena's shoes, I hear a horn honk. "That must be grandma and grandpa ready to go see Los Angeles?". "Yes, I'm so excited mommy!" - "Okay then let's go". Elena grabs my hand and rushes me to her grandparent's car.

"Are we there yet!?" Elena says impatiently while kicking her feet back and forth from her car seat. "Almost," I say kissing her forehead. "First we have to make a stop at the supermarket little one," My father says from the driver's seat. "Yes, And we are here! Harold, Dear you stay here, and us three girls will go and get the food we'll be quick". Elena and I get out of the car and walk into the supermarket with my mom. "Elena, do you want some chocolate ice cream?" I got no response from her which is weird because she loves chocolate ice cream! "Elena?" No response again. I finally turn my head and realize that she's not next to me. "Oh my God! Where's Elena!?" I say while searching around for her. "She was just here where could she have gone?" My mom says while panicking. "I'll be back" I mumbled running down every aisle searching for my daughter.

𝑵𝒊𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒆'𝒔 𝑷𝒐𝒗

"Now, where are those Hershey bars?" I'm supposed to be on a diet because I have a photoshoot in a couple of days but I don't care. "Found them!" I'm putting the pack of Hershey's into my cart and I feel a tug on my shirt "hi. can you grab those for me please." a little girl with brown and blueish eyes, a nose the size of a button, and some very long and curly ginger hair pointed up to the gummy bears. "Hi, sweetie did your parents say you could have those?" I asked the cute little girl in front of me. "Yes, Well.. My grandpa said I could have whatever I wish. He can count as a parent right?" I chuckled at the little girl's confused face. Her eyebrows came down and she pouted her lip. She kinda reminded me of my ex. "Yes, your grandfather can count." I grab the gummy bears and hand them to the little girl. "Thank you!!" The girl says while jumping up and down from excitement "You're welcome sweetie. Now, let's go find your parents." The little girl gives me her hand. As we're going to look for her parents, someone pratically hits me on the shoulder. I guess we found her parents.

𝐊𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐯

I finally reach the candy aisle and see a glimpse of a little girl with red hair. "Elena!" I run up to her and there's some brunette  holding my daughters hand! I stomp up to the woman angrily. "Why do you have my daughter!?" Before I could get anything else out of my mouth, The woman turned around and my heart stopped for a minute. "Nicole?" "Kimberly?" My anger turned into shock. "Elena! there you are! Oh hi, Nicole! long time no see" My mother said while Nicole just gave a simple nod to shocked to say or do anything else. "We'll let you two talk," My mom smiled, taking Elena away. "She's beautiful Kim." Nicole whispered. Nicole had her head down and looked like she was about to cry, I felt so bad. "Nicole...." "No. Kimberly, I understand. But If u didn't want to be with me.. You could've just said that. Instead of putting me through that!" She sighs. "Forget it. It's all in the past now. Doesn't matter anymore." Nicole looks so heartbroken and It's all my fault. I just want to blurt out that I love her and kiss her beautiful face. I moved closer trying to control myself but.. I reached for her lips and  she quickly moved away. "You should, Um, You should go." I tried to talk to her but she cut me off. "No! Kim, Go to your daughter. Just please go and take care of yourself." I moved away from her. "Yeah, Okay, You too. Bye Nicole." I looked at Nicole one last time and then walked right out the supermarket.

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐯

I wipe away my tears and answer the phone call."Hey, baby, I have to stay here for a while and I was wondering if you're okay with me setting the engagement party back two months?" Chelsea said. I was trying to respond but she wouldn't stop speaking."Don't worry! I knew you wouldn't mind so I already took care of it. All you need to do is show up. I gotta go! Kisses!" I scoffed as she hung up. Not only did she do everything without me but I didn't even get to say a word." I walked to my car not having the energy to deal with this.

𝐊𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐯

We finally arrive home. Elena is currently sleeping on my lap. I gently open the car door and carry her upstairs. I lay her on the bed gently and as I'm tiptoeing out the room "mommy?" I sigh and turn around "yes hunny?" "Can Nicole come over tomorrow? Pleaseeee" fuck um, "sweetie, Nicole is very busy so I don't think"- "PLEASEEE MOMMY" she pouted her lip and used that special face that I just can't resist. "Okay, alright if she's not busy I'll see if she can come over tomorrow." Goodnight my darling butterfly, I love you." "goodnight mommy I wuv you too" I kiss Elena on her forehead tuck her in turning on her nightlight. I leave the room and head downstairs to call Nicole hoping she still has the same number.

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐯

"Brush brush your teeth-" I stop brushing when I hear my phone ringing. "Hmm who could be calling me at this time of night" I check my phone and see it's an unknown caller. It could be a telemarketer or something. But what if it's important? I decided to just answer it out of curiosity. "Hiya" I immediately know who's on the other end of the call. "Hey, Nicole, Sorry to bother you this late at night. It's just that um well Elena wants to see you. If your to busy then that's totally fine unless you can make it but if u can't it's fine I mean if you can she would love that! you know what, sorry for bothering you. This is weird-" I laughed at Kimberly's nervousness she's so cute, I really missed her. Nicole you shouldn't be thinking like this you're getting married soon. "Breathe Kim and stop ranting. I have a shoot but I'd loved to spend time with her right after. Although this is pretty sudden. I'm guessing she likes me." Kimberly chuckled. "Yeah, I guess she does. Well, I'll see you tomorrow and good luck at your photoshoot." "Can't wait for tomorrow either. Goodnight Kim." I hang up and go to sleep smiling brighter than I have in a long time.

𝐊𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐯

After hanging up with Nicole, I go upstairs to the room. I went to sleep smiling brighter than I had in a long time.

𝐊𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐯

As I'm blow drying my hair, I hear someone knocking at the door. "Who could possibly be knocking on the door at five in the morning?" I wrap the towel around me tighter, and make my way to the door. "Nicole! I wasn't expecting you this um early" Nicole looks me up and down and I blush out of embarrassment "The photo shoot ended early" I laugh nervously and tighten my grip on the towel. "Isn't that nice. Uh, I'll be right back. I'm gonna go change" Nicole let's out a small giggle. "Take your time." I literally sprint up the stairs.

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐯

I walk upstairs looking for the bathroom and I come across Kim's room. I accidentally see her take off her towel and damn may I just say, the baby weight has done her very well. She looks even more beautiful than when I last saw her four years ago. I see she's walking towards the door. Oh shit, I run to the nearest room and it's Elena's she's sleeping so peacefully. 

𝐊𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐯

I finish changing and I heard Nicole say something about precious and I know she must be talking about Elena. I walk to my daughter's room and sure enough, I see Nicole pulling a blanket up Elena's body. She kisses her forehead so lovingly and I go over to them. "Kimberly, it could probably just be me. But she looks like a combination of me and you" I look at my daughter. "I thought the same thing when I first saw her and you're right she does resemble me and you" That's actually kind of strange. "Y'all really lucked out but just why Kim?" I see Nicole's eyes get watery and she looks so hurt and disappointed. I felt so bad that I couldn't even look at her. "Nicole... maybe it's time.. I tell you what happened that weekend in Vegas." I sighed. "You always avoided telling me whenever I asked so yes I would love to finally know please." She deserves to know the truth and I'm finally ready to give it to her. "Okay well after I finished talking to you on that Saturday night. Mika and I decided to go clubbing." I start to cry as my mind drifts back to that horrible trip in Vegas. The trip that changed my life.

                                                                   *𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞*

"We finally made it to the club! Wooo, yusss girl, you want a drink?" Mika says "Bitch! You know I do. Get me the strongest one they got!" Mika comes back with our drinks and I take all mines down in one sip. So I go to the bar to get another and then this guy shows up out of nowhere. with his messy brown hair and piercing brown eyes looking like a creep. "Baby, let Luca buy you a drink" I rolled my eyes. "Uh no thanks. I can buy my own but thanks goodbye now". After two more cups of liquor I wasn't feeling very well. Everything was spinning and I couldn't keep my balance. I need to find Mika. I saw Luca sitting a couple stools down from me. "Whoa are u okay ma'am?" He was smirking. Oh my god! "You spiked my fucking drink" I held on to the counter trying to catch myself. "Guilty as charge now just pass out already." I tried my hardest to stay awake but I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. The next morning I woke up to the sun shining through the blinds. I was naked in someone else's bed. I had bruises all over my body and I could see blood on the sheets. I was disgusted, I wanted to vomit. He had taken advantage of me. I wiped away my tears immediately looking for my belongings. "Where the fuck do u think you're going?" Luca said walking towards me. "I'm leaving. You're fucking sick!" He pulled my arm. "Bitch, you aren't going anywhere." He pushed me up against the wall. "What's your name whore?" I looked away. "I'm not telling you shit." He threw me on the floor and stomped on my stomach. "I'm going to ask you one last time." I spat blood on his face. "Fuck you" I almost lost my life that day. "You fucking bitch! I'm going to kill you!" He kept punching me. I couldn't take much more of it and then I heard sirens. This person was shaking me "C'mon stay with me! Open your eyes! Please open your eyes." I tried to keep my eyes open but I couldn't do it any longer and I saw nothing but darkness. I woke up in the hospital and the first thing I did was text you. I told you I was fine because you were worried and stuff then turned off my phone and started crying. After I was released, I went straight to Mika's and packed my things. I just wanted to go home.

                                                              *𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞*

𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲'𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝘃

Tears ran down my face as I was completely speechless. There was truly no words that I could say to Kimberly right now. "Kimberly, I am so so sorry that you had to go through that." I give her a hug and rub her back. "It's over now." She starts crying harder and I hold her tighter. With every tear that drops down her face a piece of my heart breaks. She finally stops crying, I pull away from her. Even though she was crying with her eyes puffy and all. She still looks absolutely beautiful. "It's fine Nicole. That's why I pushed you away and the reason for us not having sex but a couple of times I was very tempted." I laughed at that. "Kim why didn't you just tell me?"I would've helped her through it. "I was scared. I was disgusted. I didn't tell anybody. I stayed away from everyone. When I found out I was pregnant, I didn't even want it. I tried to get rid of it but I couldn't. I regret doing that every single day of my life because of my selfishness I almost lost my everything." I saw Kim starting to cry again and I hugged her. "No It's okay Kim, please don't cry." I pouted my lip. "Ugh!" She wipes her tears away. "I am so weak!" What? "Kimberly, you are not weak. You never have been and you never will be. You are so incredible. Cry it out it's okay! You're only human and I'm sorry for everything that has happened to you. But look what came out of it! A beautiful baby girl and may I just say the baby weight looks real good on you." "Oh thanks". I see Kimberly's cheeks lighten up. She's so cute like an angel from heaven everything about this woman is perfect.

𝗞𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆'𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝘃

I saw Nicole licking her lips and staring at me intensively and I don't know what it was. Maybe the heat of the moment or the fact that I haven't seen her in four years. Nonetheless, I crashed my lips onto hers. She was startled at first but then kissed back immediately.

𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲'𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝘃

My head was telling me that this was so wrong. I'm engaged but if it was so wrong why did it feel so right? "Kim, we-" I was cut off by her expert lips as her fingers unbuttoned my shirt. Her tongue battled with mine for dominance, and I moaned as it flicked the roof of my mouth. She tore away from it, leaving hot, burning kisses along my collarbone, going to my ear and biting it softly. It felt so good and as much as I wanted her to continue I knew that this was wrong so as much as I didn't want her to stop I knew that we had to. "Kimberly we have to-"  "Oh my God" I moaned. The way her hand was caressing my breast and her lips on my skin, I didn't want to talk ever. All I wanted was this to keep going, preferably forever and then it hit me we are in Elena's room. I pushed Kimberly away "Oh shit! I totally forgot" I buttoned my shirt back up and Kim mouthed an I'm sorry to me and I mouthed it's okay back. I heard a tiny yawn and realized who it was Elena. She was waking up she looked so adorable and when she opened her pretty little eyes and saw me she immediately screamed. "Nicole you came!" She jumped into my arms as I laughed. "Yes, of course, I did angel."

𝗞𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆'𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝘃

When Elena jumped into Nicole's arms my heart seemed full but I was of course a little jealous. I pouted my lip and crossed my arms. "Hey what about mommy?" Elena turned to me. "I could never forget about mommy." She came to me, hugged me, and gave me a kiss "I wuv my mommies so much." - "huh what do you mean baby girl?" "Oh hehe I forgot to ask" She started blushing it was the cutest thing ever her whole face turned as red as her hair. She went over to Nicole and sat on her lap.

𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲'𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝘃

"Nicole can you be my other mommy?" I can't even. She looked so adorable and how could I say no to her? "Oh my goodness, of course, I would love to Elena! Wait we have to see if mommy agrees with this." She turned towards Kim. "Can Nicole be my other mommy?" Kimberly chuckled. "Yes, it's perfectly fine with me." Elena's face lit up so bright and she screamed while jumping up and down on her bed. Kimberly and I laughed at this adorable little girl sitting next to us. "Okay okay it's time to get your day started baby girl," We all went downstairs holding hands and Elena and I played in the living room while Kimberly made breakfast. In that moment, I completely forgot about everything else. After being bombarded with lots of questions to see if I was qualified for the job which by the way I got the job I started tickling her and we both were giggling like crazy.

𝗞𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆'𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝘃

As I'm making breakfast I couldn't help but be so happy. My two favorite girls were playing and giggling it was like a dream come true. I finally finished making breakfast. "Guys come and eat breakfast is ready!" "We're cominggg!" She sat her in her high chair and gave Elena her food.  "Any plans for today?" I wiped Elena's face. "Mommy, can we go to mamma's job today?"          "Sure but only if it's okay with Nicole" I nodded my head. "It's totally fine just warning you its a little boring" I looked at Nicole and gave her a small smile.
