2 Imperishable Cursed Body

Days came and went and so did seasons.

Ten months went passed without any visitors to the Library.

Apparently the Librarian abruptly closed it and vanished.

Inside one of the backroom's in the library, a young man lay peacefully on a bed.

He had been there for months. Never changing positions, never moving at all.

Until today.

*Gasp* August abruptly jumped up, his forehead covered in sweat.

The first thing he did was feel his chest, searching for the whole left behind by the sword.

To his surprise though, there was no wound. In fact there was no trace of a scar at all.

"Was it a dream?" He asked himself, unsure if the events in his memory actually happened or not.

His mind raced as recollected the events that had taken place.

Suddenly his mind shook and was a shiver went down his spine as he remembered a set of words spoken to him.

"Break through the curse and shatter the sky." August repeated to himself over and over again.

"Just what the hell did that old librarian talking about?" he thought. "And what was all that stuff he was saying about gods and heavens?"

At the moment a memory surfaced in his head. A memory that he didn't previously have.

Imperishable Cursed Body, defy the heavens, rip open the sky.

"The fuck is that?" August was shocked. He was sure that he never read this anywhere as he would definitely remember something that sounded so dominating.

Digging deeper into the memory he realized that it was a body forging method and it definitely wasn't a regular one either.

Though the method was extraordinary and could change his weak body constitution, August still frowned.

He was frowning because of the difficulty of it.

"Use the heavens to temper your body, fail and your soul will be condemned to hell for all of eternity, succeed and stand equal to the heavens." it read.

August smiled wryly as he wasn't too fond of the idea of being condemned to hell.

"Whatever. I have no family and no friends. If I fail and die than no one will care but if I can cultivate this to the end then I'll step into the peak of cultivation."

Without a second thought August decided to cultivate the Imperishable Cursed Body technique, seeing as though he had nothing to lose.

"When I see that Old Librarian, I must thank him. I don't know how I'm alive or where this technique came from but I'm sure he had something to do with it."

Without delaying any further, August left out, headed in the direction of a forest outside the kingdom. It was night time, thus very few people were out and nobody noticed him leave. In fact, many people assumed that When the Librarian vanished that he went along with him.

August entered the forest but did not proceed to deep as he did not want to attract any powerful beast.

In fact August didn't want to come out to the forest at all before he had any cultivation because in the chance that he did attract any beast over, he would not be able to defend himself at all.

In the end, he didn't have a choice though. If the phenomenon that's depicted in the Imperishable Cursed body method is actually real, then it would definitely attract the attentions of others so he'd rather be safe than sorry.

August found a large tree and sat crossed leg below it as he silently went over the steps to cultivate the Imperishable Cursed Body.

Once he reached the first stage of the Imperishable Cursed Body, he could directly start to cultivating essence energy . Bypassing the 4 phases of the Physical Reconstruction Realm and directly enter the Soul Shattering Realm.

August followed the instruction and closed his eyes as sent his will out into sky, letting heaven know that he wished to challenge it.

Time went by as August sat there silently with his eyes closed. Sending out his challenge to heaven over and over again.

Thunder clouds began to form above the forest. The heavens were finally angered.

Thundered Boomed. Seemingly saying "How dare a mere ant challenge me."

The multiple thunder clouds began to merge, transforming into a single cloud.

At this point, August's forehead was covered and sweat and was starting to feel a little nervous.

Who wouldn't feel a little nervous while challenging heaven? Especially when that person didn't even have an ounce of cultivation.

*CRACK!!* A bolt of lightning tore through the sky, headed right for August.

*AHHHHHHHH!" It connected, causing August to let out a heart wrench scream.

The lighting rampaged through his entire body. Rupturing his meridians and destroying his muscles the lighting was extremely savage.

August remained sitting as he viciously clenched his jaw, preventing himself from puking blood.

August followed instructions and attempted to gain control of the lighting running through his body but it wasn't working.

August face looked desperate as he attempted over and over again.

"THE HEAVENS WANT TO KILL ME AND I WANT TO DESTROY THE HEAVENS. WE BOTH CANNOT COEXIST AND THE HEAVENS HAVE BEEN AROUND LONG ENOUGH!" August roared, seemingly possessed.

With blood trickling out of his eyes like tears, with his willpower and determination he forcefully took control of the lighting rampaging through his body.

After gaining control he began circulating the lighting according to the Imperishable Cursed Body method.

First he used the lightning to repair his meridians, then his muscles and organs.

Even after repairing the parts that was damaged he still kept circulating the lighting, eventually leading it into his blood flow.

Tiny streaks of lightning could be seen in every little crevice of his body, from his muscles to his blood stream.

The lightning constantly broke down the tiny fibers in his body and rebuilt them. They became more durable, stronger, in a sense, they became more perfect.

He circulated the lighting through his body the whole night before his energy became exhausted and he passed out.
