9 Chapter 9

Henry's pov ..

I stayed all night long attending these two strangers, unfortunately I fell in love with the little baby girl sleeping on my covers, she looks so innocent ans beautiful . " if I had some one like taht little baby in my life, I would have vowed to die for her and protect her my life .

It was a little hard for me to attend a baby especially , it was my fisrt time but I tried my best ,I went to my bathroom did my business and walked out, I feel so tired, and I can even feel the dark circles crawling on my under eye skin.

I am neither going to school today nor work, and the good thing is that it's still raining outside heavily and I know that there is no work today. I wore my clean clothes , took the dirty clothes and wash them all, starting form the little girl's clothes to her mom's. I mean waht if she wales up and sees that she is wearing a stranger's cloth and not hers ?

I finished washing, unfortunately my hut is so small, I took a rope connect inside the dining room far from my precious couches and kitchen and put the clothes on the cloth line , it was raining heavily outside, I didn't have any plans to go out nor will I have any plans to do so . When everything was done, I went in mt little kitchen and prepared some porridge,I remembered I bought a box of porridge flour, I heated up the kettle and made tea first for myself, I had a massive headache because of all the troubles of tah 4ain outside .

I sighed when I saw my yea was ready, I took a mug and drank the tea and then went in my kitchen and made the porridge , I could have made this porridge for the baby yesterday but it was so dark and my senses weren't working at all, but the good thing is that I got to save her life and she ate what I had preserved .

Before I even took offthe porridge from the stove , I heard her crying !! My whole body tensed a little and then I closed the slave and followed her sound in my room . " I carried the baby in my arms, i have never felt this kind of connection with anyone.She looks just too cute to let her go . " hey baby, I murmured trying not to awakening her mother "

How are you feeling today ? She looked at me with her beautiful eyes , she is so pretty and I noticed something, " the little baby doesn't look like her mother at all " Then maybe she's her sister, I mumbled and soon she started crying again .

" shshsh, I cooed her and poured some porridge on a little bowl and took a spoon and took her inside my room. She cried again ," I knew she was hungry but I wasn't going to give her this hot porridge.

I tried holding her in my arms but I almost dropped her when she squirmed on my arms , baby stop !! I yell a little and shw whimpered and her cries died down, shw pouted her little mouth and wanted to cry again . " Before she opened her mouth crying again, I took the spoon full of warm porridge and instanly forced it in her mouth, her cries died down instantly making me sigh.

She didn't cry any more as sheoookrd at me in my eyes and ate what I gave her, " is this delicious honey?" I suddenly asked her and she giggles .. " This is the most beautiful sound I have ever heard in the entire e istence nas her cute little smile on her face !! She looks like an angel sent from heaven.

I was busy feeding the littel baby that I didn't notice my room door being opened, " slowly footsteps came inside the room, " it was all of a sudden when the baby was yanked away from my arms and I heard the girl yelling .

" stay away !! Stay away from me !! Stay away from us , we did not do anything wrong!! Please let us go , she cried while we bracing the baby and moving back " ..

I look at hee confused and I knew intently that it was the girl who was sleeping on my couch, " miss, miss , I mean no harm i sudenly stand up and raised my hands up "

It's okay i ma not a bad guy, I swear over that little baby " I tell her

Prove it, I don't want to be lied anymore she cried as she moved back, miss please !! Don't take you and the baby away from this house , I am just helping you both . I saw yiu both lying on the mango tree in the verge if death last night, it was raining heavily and the baby couldn't breath as well and it is still raining outside , i explained to her so that she didn't worry about who I was .

She tightened the grip of the baby in her arms and murmured to me , " thank you " It's nothing I tell her .She looked at the baby and she saw her indeed kicking her lips and giggled at her when she looked at her face , " how did you find us ? She asked not stopping her tears leaking form her eyes, " I don't know what haponed to you guys, but yiu were ina bad state ..please sit down ..I tell her worrying.

Have you had anything for the past few days? She didn't say anything as her tears kept on coming out from her eyes ..please sit her and make yourself at home its raining heavily outside , I am not going to hurt you or the baby ...I am going to arrange for you some cup of tea and some porridge I tell her .

I passed by her but she moved back avoiding any little contact with me , " what happened to her ?" My subconscious asks ,shs looks so hurt and in pain.

" Her eyes says it all , I mumbled when I had a mug of tea and a bowl of porridge. "

Come miss, let's eat i tell her and she slowly came from the room , " please sit,I showed her the two chairs on my little kitchen ,"

Please don't cry miss, I tried reassuring her .. " I am not she murmured , let me help you withthe baby's o atht you couod eat and get some energy, you look so pale !! I tried to help her she nodded her head with hesitation and shw gave me the baby , I smiled when I saw the baby starting to sleep in my arms ....

Do you know me !! She suddenly aks me slowly .." no, I don't i tell her" I have seen you before she tells me with tears making me go silent...

Please eat miss, I tell her and took the baby inside the room and covered her little body and went outside. I reached on the kitchen and I saw her not eating,

" hey, what happned ?" I aks her but when I git near she hugged my body tight as she broke down crying...

" What an earth happened to this poor girl?"
