13 Chapter 13

Four days have passed since the jncident haooned with my brother and father, how I hate that man !! I mumbled while wearing my shirt . I don't know why was I even big birthed in that kind of family.

" no one cared if it's not money, I understand that it's all because of poverty but ... this is just another level "

I can't be my family's slave for the rest of my life , that's what I mean.

I have elder brothers who were bigger , muscular than me , but they stay at home like some lazy bums , " let's go to school you ask them but they don't wnat to go there too, find a work but they don't wnat to work either .."

I am so sick of their games , are you done ? Rose came inside the room and ask me . Yes , what about you both? I ask her , we are all done . We were just waiting for you she tells me witha small smile. " I am glad she can try smiling on my presence," .

It has been really hard staying ith rise dir teh oast few days , her eyes hold darkness , I knew she wanted and she was yearning for love , she wnatw dto be loved just like what I have been thinking and dreaming of . " shw couldn't eat, she couldn't talk but hold hee baby in her arms as tears pourer down her eyes !!

A point reached whj I couldn't even touch her because she would yell and shout , I once also heard her talking in her sleep at night while crying when I woke up to get water in the kitchen .

I walked out and tell her follow me , where are we going ? She aksed suddenly . " I don't want anyone to see you , I am not sure who yiu are running from but I can't let you walk where we are going " I tell her and take her hand with me at the back if my hut .

Shs gasped when she saw my motorcycle, are we going to get into this ? Are we going to ride on it ? '' She asked excitedly with Amelia in her arms .

I chuckled lightly and nod my head , " who are you ? " she sudenly aks . I laugj out loud nd loooed at her face but she was serious . For real ? You don't trust me ? I aka her hurt .. no it's nit that way Henry ...

I ..I.. she stuttered.. " Save it and get into this thing so that we couod rich earlier . I tell her and she nod her head vigorously and sat on the back with Amelia .

She looked so troubled , but I wasn't angry, only a little hurt but I understood because I didn't know what kind of condition she was in at first bwfire I took her in .

I switched it on and I started driving not before I checked again if the whole house was secured with locks.

" we started our journey to the hospital, we were taking the baby to the hospital after i talked it out with Rose , "

She didn't wnat at fusrt and said its going to be a loss of money and she is going to have alot if debts but I assured her that I wasn't going to charge her anything. " The same night Rose saw my lip which was cut, shs asked me about it and I had to lie saying , I bruised myself when I got out from the toilet at school "

We were all teenagers and we can even be naive sometimes , but not me . Rose is more...or should I say she is more like so innocent and strange ? To be honest . After a journey of one hour we reached at the hospital..

I took a hold of the baby and helped Rose down from the motorcycle. Let's go in , I hold her hand and entered in the hospital after I felt her tensing up. " anyone can come here if yiu have money and if you are sick , I tell her and she nodded absent-minded. She looked at the building and gasped. It is this beautiful? She asked with sheer happiness.

Yep , I pooped the p and she smiled broadly. One day I want to be in a palce like this .. no worries , only work , money and seeing the luxury she tells me excitedly .She didn't look like the dull rose but the cheeky little curious child who wants to experience the taste of life. " one day you shall I tell her smiling ans she smiled back at me broadly.

We reached on the reception and told them taht we wanted to see the doctor, the nurses looked at us and asked are you both the parents? Before Rose dashed in I replied " yes, we are " Rose blushed and smiled shyly. You both look young ..

That's none if your business , I heard Rose mumbling while I cracked out small laugh. Get in the room nine , it's empty yiu will see her there , she explained and soon we walked inside the room .

" Henry, this place is so beautiful, Rose mumbled with a grin . All walls are painted with white , the smell is so fresh and .. and look comfortable chairs and beds. She kept on mumbling . Atleast she has opened up to me and shown me a little what dreams she has .

" Hello, how can I help you today? The doctor aksed after we were seated , " The child is two years old , she looks I think malnourished ans top of my, she doesn't do any two year old does. " she can't walk nor talk but she can make soft little giggles... I finally finished explaining.

Where did you gave birth girl ? The doctor didn't beat around the bush and asked her , Ummm .. I.. at home .. " she mumbled embarrassed "

Don't be embarrassed okay? These are all phrases of life the doctor tells her encouraging her and she smiled weakly looking at me. " lie the bay on the bed, the doctor said to me and I did so . Rose became so anxious as she saw the doctor entering a little wooden spoon opening up her mouth, " is she going to die ?" She suddenly aksed . Don't say that ..she isn't I tell her ...oh , okay she said slowly .

I watched as the doctor checked her again and write soemthing on a notepad and soon she gave me back the back . " what happened?" Rose aksed her . Looking at the baby , the baby looks so malnourished, She also loos like she was born premature because some of her bones are still weak and she is so thin, she explained .

" Don't worry she is going to be fine as long as you give her some good delicious food made up with vitamins C and D and calcium in her body , shs said with a baby voice lookinga t Amelia who looked at her silently.

She prescribed a medicine and then she told us to go back after a week . We thanked her and I payed for the medicine and we walked out .

Thank yiu for bringing me here Henry, this is just so beautiful I have neve been in such places , shs tells me witha shy smile. " you are welcome anytime with this cute little baby of yours!" I tell her and soon she sat in the motorcycle and hold Amelia and soon after a ride of an hour we were back .

" Rose got off fiart from the motorcycle and wanted to get in but gasped giving me attention, " what happened?"

Look .. she says to me looking at my face with horror ...

" The door is unlocked and the lock of the back door was broke. " My eyes were now wide like I saw a ghost ,

No one knows of this place where i am staying , in the exception of i and Rose, Who is the third person who knows about this place ?
