Chapter 14

　　Seth POV

　　As I looked at the girl in front of me, she stared straight at me with a gaze filled with determination and frustration. There was a hint of blood at the corner of her mouth, and I realized that I had gone too far in my anger, and it was too late to take it back now.

　　She took a deep breath and quickly calmed her emotions, then looked at me seriously and said, "Seth Rodriguez, I didn't do anything to hurt Luna. You can choose not to believe me, but I hope you have evidence of me actually doing such things before accusing me."

　　I was speechless for a moment, and could only watch her leave decisively. Ruby seemed to be persistent, saying, "We will eventually catch her and bring her to justice." I looked deeply at Ruby, feeling somewhat surprised by her harshness.

　　For the rest of the night, I stayed at the hospital until the next morning when my mother slowly woke up.
