Yan Wen made to leave, but Bai Zhexuan hurried to block her. "Whatever you're unhappy with, we can talk about it. There's no need to go to such extent."

But Bai Zhexuan pushed her hand aside and looked around at everybody in the meeting. "If there are no objections, the méeting has now ended."

Once he was done speaking, Yan Wen strode out of the meeting room without looking back, leaving him with a shadow that he could never catch again. At this, he finally realized that Yan Wen had changed.

Not only was she not going to be manipulated by him, but she had also become unreadable. After everyone had left, Jiang Lingyun sulked in her chair. "Are you regretting your choice again? Don't think I don't know what you want. You keep saying that everything is for me, but you've never forgotten Yan Wen! Am I still in your heart?"
