11 Questions

A couple of minutes after waking up once more. I left Miyuki's house and began to walk down the sidewalk. As I pull out my phone from my pocket while continuing to walk down the sidewalk I turn it on to check the time.

"Its...9:00 pm...I guess time really did pass by quick." I think to myself as the moon shines down with its dim blue light.

The flickering of the street lamps continues as I continue to walk myself, getting with every step closer to home.

"Requiems...Acts, everything up to now, I guess it really was all because of that night. When I decided to walk to the convenience store and was given a second chance at life even obtain abilities unknown to me, truly makes me wonder what the future may have in store." My thoughts fill my head until I make an abrupt stop as I had finally made it home. I reach out to my pocket to get my key and to unlock the door. As I put the key in the keyhole and turn the knob to open the door, Erika begins to speak.

"Before you do anything I need you to do something if you don't mind of course." She states.

"Well, that's quite vague, isn't it," I say while entering my house and closing the door behind me and locking it.

"I guess I should explain what I want huh? well, it's pretty simple and will benefit you so will you hear my request?" Erika says with her soft tone but yet again almost demanding.

"Go for it it's not like I have nothing to lose right? you said it will benefit me so why not." I say while going to sit down on the living room couch.

Erika takes a deep breath before starting.

"Thank you, well what I wanted was you to get into the habit of practicing your swordsmanship and your strength with Frozen Requiem." She states.

"To make sure I'm up to my opponent's level in terms of strength and skill correct?" I say while laying my head on a couch cushion.

"Yes as you clearly noticed with your battle with Kentaro, had it been an actual battle and not a mock battle you would have been seriously injured. On top of that, the only reason you won for that matter was that Frozen Requiem took him by surprise. Again emphasizing your lack of skill. You weren't able to win in terms of ability with a sword and merely won with nothing more but luck."Erika saying almost scolding me somehow.

"Yeah, yeah, I get it currently with my strength at the moment I can't really beat anyone with that are you implying you know a way to help? am I to be correct?" I say to Erika.

"Sometimes I wonder if you just jump to conclusions but even so you're always right, yes that's right I think what I have in mind will help. With all that aside may I explain how now?"

"It's true I only won because of Frozen Requiem, even so, had I made one wrong step earlier I wouldn't have been able to get my magical energy back in time to even use it. So whatever you have in mind I'm sure it will help so again, go on." I reply back.

"Activate Frozen Requiem to start off. You should have recovered by now so if you don't mind, please do so."Erika instructs me.

"Got it." As I take a deep breath I extend my left arm out and open my hand and begin to speak those words

"Restrictions Released...Virtualizer linked... Frozen Requiem, okay so now what?" I ask her.

"Try and create a weapon, any, it doesn't matter, but try and create a weapon out of ice. Tho our final acts will most likely be different. Frozen Requiem's basic fundamentals should be the same, so try and picture a weapon in your head and concentrate to try and make a replica of ice." Erika tells me.

"Basic fundamentals....huh well I'll try then."

I close my eyes and begin to think.

"A weapon...any weapon as she said it doesn't matter...hmmm well how about a knife. Concentrate, the sharp cutting blade, the handle. Visualize a knife...a weapon commonly used by assassins. Yeah okay here goes." I could feel the sort of energy almost coming from my arm into my hand until I suddenly felt something cold. I open my eyes to see a knife in my hand made completely of ice.

"It seems you were able to do it," Erika says before immediately the knife explodes with a small explosion and breaks apart.

"Nevermind I take that back. You can do it but it seems you put quite too much energy at once making it unstable which caused it to explode as you just saw. well as a first attempt it wasn't the worse but to keep practice every day before going to bed once you are able to do so all change what you have to make. This is a simple way to practice with Frozen Requiem nothing too big."

"Yeah, I understand."

"Here I thought I had successfully done it... I guess not. Well, I guess I should get to bed as it seems using Frozen Requiem uses what Erika called my Magical Energy or in other words my stamina to some extent."I think to myself before getting ready to change our of my uniform and take off my coat and get ready for sleep for the night. As I laid in my bed my eyes eventually gave up on me and closed soon I had fallen asleep.

I opened my eyes to see I was somewhere quite empty my surroundings being quite devoid of any color almost like an empty void.

"Oh its this place, what Erika called the back of my mind, one's true desires and true self given form as a world inside their mind in its deepest parts, or one's hopes and admirations. Yet even with all that just as Erika says I possess none of that as this place itself is empty noting but a black void." As I begin to walk in this empty landscape I see something that stands out to the empty void. A piece of ice almost like a mirror. A spike of ice out of everything that could be here that was the only thing.

"I wonder if this place truly represents all of that then why does mine...look empty and all that stands here is nothing more but a piece of ice that's of a different color it's red, Crimson even, it's almost the same color as that red that dropped from my hands that night. This truly to me is the most puzzling." I think to myself.

"For whatever reason, the moment you unlocked your requiem and used more than once that piece of ice seemed to have just appeared." A voice says whom I Immediately recognize as Erika.

"Just as I'm puzzled as to why this place is so empty to suddenly have nothing but a piece of ice appear is quite odd," Erika says as I turn around and she walks up towards me.

This is the second time I've been able to see her completely. Her white hair and purple eyes and her white and black clothing. Erika walks up to place her hand on my cheek.

"I know it's been quite a lot this week but as you are helping me out I will do the same. You are the key to my success just as I am the same to you. Never forget that I will help you find what you most desire that purpose alongside Miyuki it's the least I can do." She says with her soft tone before removing her hand and beginning to speak again.

"It seems this word is falling apart once more. It's clearly morning so wake up will you."

The empty void that I stood on once again begins to break as I am for the third time devoured by darkness.
