6 New Future

Drenched, wet, cold, and weak all of these pushed through my body as I struggled to pull myself up from the cold wet floor of my apartment. I open my eyes with all my strength pushing my self up from the floor but falling once more "What is this pain...it hurts so bad." I think to my self pushing my self back up. A feeling of cold air fills the room almost like a chill down my whole body like im freezing. I pull myself managing to bring myself up for a second my legs shaking in the coldness it was almost if I have stuck naked in a blizzard storm.

"Why is it so cold..." I think once more as that piercing pain comes rushing once more knocking my balance back on the ground. "It hurts...it hurts." I repeat to myself in my head.

"What the hell is happening...uuuggghhh." As blood very cold blood rushes out my mouth on too the floor in front of me. I continue to groan in pain more and more as it pierces me again. All my attempts to get back on my legs fail.

"This feeling it's similar to the one I felt that night in that park...." I think as I throw up more blood as the blood smeared on my face as I fell once more her voice fills my head. "Please bear this im sorry for all this pain but I promise everything is gonna be alright." The voice says as a brief image of Erika appears in my head, I close my eyes once more darkness consumes me.

Some time has passed I don't know how much but it has as I regain consciousness and open my eyes again and proceed to stand up.

"That feeling it's gone...what the hell same as the cold feeling and then at the end...Erika appeared could she know something...damn." I shake my head as to get more awake until a voice rings my ears once more.

"I'm sorry for that pain you felt I really am but it was a side effect of you and me being linked...and now that you know of my existence this happen but it shouldn't happen again so don't worry." Erika's voice tells me in my head except I can't see her at all.

"Wait you can talk to me? like this?" I speak loudly to see if she would respond.

"Yes" She replies quickly

"Tho you can not see me I am able to talk to you as a voice in your head for now but I can't read your thoughts or anything and vice versa."Erika states.

" I wonder why. he even experienced that pain again. I am sorry, Yuri even I don't know the reason but it might be due to the fact a phenomenon is happening currently..." Erika thinks to herself as she proceeds to speak once more in Yuris ear.

"You don't feel any sort if pain anymore right?" Erika speaks.

"No, not anymore but why was I in pain a minute ago mind answering that question?" I ask Erika.

"In short I don't really know myself self but I do think it's not helped by the fact that currently, your world is experiencing what is known as a phenomenon or in other words an error or a glitch."Erika states

"A phenomenon....what exactly is it and what do you mean by happening currently?" I proceed to ask Erika.

"In simple terms, a phenomenon is well as the name suggests an irregular occurrence in a way during this time and space are almost nonexistent if you were to go outside right now it would look similar but it wouldn't be the same." Erika finishes saying.

As I proceed to run out my for and go outside I realize she wasn't kidding it's similar by that night sky is nothing but different it's almost dark hazy purple that covers the sky almost like a thick layer but more like a void. On top of that, no other person seemed to be out it was almost like a closed space.

"This is a phenomenon only those with strong emotions during when one happens or as been here in the past are allowed to enter when one occurs all because of that stupid machine."

"...Wait for a machine?" I ask with a confused face.

"Yes, or what it's actual name is Virtualizer. When your world was about to end the greatest people around the world united as one to build a machine that could potentially be able to virtualize or create a new future where the world would survive." Erika stops then starts again.

"In making such a strong machine it had its mind if it's own like an a.i of some sort but it was harmless until one of those people decided to change it so he would ruler of that new world where everything would be at his disposal where he would stay on the top forever. So the Virtualizer decide on its own to create a new future saving everyone but even then he was not satisfied so now that man responsible for Thai is now in this time just like me probably keeping a link except he probably is in full control."

"Wait if all of this that your saying is true then this Phenomenon as you call it would essentially be an error that happens when the virtualizer messes up by being the thing the governs this world?"I say instantly almost as if completely understood everything.

" This is all so much but while small there's a chance what I said could be true but then that just begs for other questions." I think to myself.

"Your quite clever but yes that's would be correct".Erika states.

"So I am right but then what could happen with me in all of this..." I think almost deep in thought as Erika interrupts me.

"With all that said I have a goal I want to achieve no matter what that's to stop him as well to free this world from that virtualizer as hundreds of people just go missing every month without a trace. So now I ask you to help to reach that goal, in turn, I will help you to reach your purpose you so desire so will you help me?" Erika says with a soft tone voice almost as if this is what she hopes I help her with.

"In the end, I might get into bad situations because of this but even then I have no purpose in life so even if I were to die it's fine so I will help you to reach your goal and as well to find my purpose." I say with confidence.

"Thank you no matter what the challenge lies ahead we will strive for our goals so let this be the future we so desire". She says with her up most confidence almost as if she would really sacrifice everything to reach this goal but no matter what I will help her, to strive for my purpose.
