In the world, wherever there is light- there are also shadows. As long as the concept of winners exists, there must also be losers. The selfish desire within causes wars and hatred was born from love. That was the fundamental state of the world and no matter how far civilization moved into the future, these core aspects remained the same. It shall remain unless there was no free will.
Regardless, the world had come far from its past where bloodshed was extremely common and reduced such events to a miniscule amount. But, it didn't mean that instruments of destruction had been reduced. The truth of the matter was that the world had come under a single Emperor, which reduced the chances of extreme violence. However, people didn't always think about the betterment of the world and this selfish desire led to the extreme advancement in the field of destruction.
The world was filled with weapons of annihilation that far surpassed the old era where the atomic bomb was considered some big threat. In the current age, weapons existed that could reduce countries to dust and it was the power held by the Emperor.
Even after such advancement, the research continued and one of the biggest contributors to the field was the Stark Industries.
Stark Industries was the Empire's global aerospace, defense, security and advanced Technologies Corporation with worldwide interests. Currently headquartered in its Central City Office, the company's current President and Chief Executive Officer was Tony Stark, direct descendant of the founder Isaac Stark Sr.
Tony was a young man of age 22 with genius intellect and he led the research personally. He was not just blessed with intellect as he had a handsome figure with black hair and brown eyes. However, he lacked experience of the outside world and the dark side of people. He lived a fulfilling life except for the absence of his parents who died before Tony even reached the age of 16.
Nonetheless, Tony didn't live in the past and almost successfully moved on from the tragedy. Just like always, he was taking a ride on his flying car that pierced through the air with impunity and made sonic speed look like child's play. It was a luxury model, Ferrari brand that he had modified personally for better protection and speed.
Tony lived outside the city on a personal island that was protected from all threats. It was a place where he could do anything and enjoy his time without interruptions. Tony loved flying at extreme speeds and would even participate in racing tournaments.
"Master, we are leaving the safe zone. Do you wish for backup?"
Sitting beside Tony was his personal maid and bodyguard, Roberta Cisneros. Roberta was a pale-skinned young woman with waist-length dark hair that was tied in low pigtail braids with square bangs hanging over her eyebrows, dull purple eyes, sharp canine teeth and large, thick and overly round glasses.
She was a powerful and beautiful woman, two qualities that Stark liked. Though, unlike the other girls she didn't give herself away because of his background.
"No, this time we are going alone. I don't think anyone has the courage to act within the proximity of the Imperial city. The Royal Knights would make short work of such creatures." Tony laughed it off and flew outside the barrier. He was feeling adventurous since things had been going well in life. He had been living caged life for many years now because of the threat of assassinations and accidents, but the technology had improved greatly and Tony was armed to the teeth for such situations now. As such, he wished to explore the vast world, gain inspiration for future projects, interact with powerful fighters and just enjoy life without worry.
"Master, how far do you intend to go?" Roberta asked as she activated her combat suit and rechecked her weapons. Her combat suit was a maid uniform, it was exceptional and it fooled the enemy.
"Haha, are you serious? Roberta, no one can keep up with this beauty and I always carry my arsenal of weapons. Any foolish creature intending harm would be annihilated without resistance." Tony chuckled at his companions exaggerated reactions. Unlike his maid, Tony had never experienced any real dangerous situation as those things had been taken care off before he was made aware.
"Understood." Roberta nodded to his words, but didn't deactivate her combat mode. She had lived in a combat zone from the start of her life, so it never left her heart even when she lived a mostly peaceful life.
Seeing that she wasn't going to let go, Tony didn't push her into it. She was his companion and friend who had been the closest to him after the death of his parent's. It was the reason why he wished for her to relax.
Speeding up, Tony started doing aerial maneuvers to get some reactions from his calm headed maid. However, that goal seemed to be impossible at the moment since she never expressed any reaction in the many years that he had been racing. It made him want to make her scream out in surprise even more. It was one of his bad habits, as he just didn't like to lose.
Even though she didn't scream, Roberta did enjoy the beautiful sights and the majestic beasts flying in the sky. It all seemed to be going well when the car shut down.
Tony was shocked by the sudden event and cursed as the car started to fall. It was not supposed to do that and there were backup programs for emergency situations. However, none of them worked. Someone had messed up his car.
It looked like a life threatening situation, but the duo easily got through it. Jumping out of the car, Tony threw out a capsule that contained his flying bike.
However, even that didn't work. So, he threw out the rest and it was the same. Someone had gone through his things.
Tony realized his mistake of depending on servants to maintain his items. It had allowed people to put him in a dangerous situation. Only a few seconds had passed since they jumped, when the car exploded. Tony was wearing clothes that produced a barrier capable of blocking small attacks, but the explosion was too much for him without his proper equipment.
Regardless, Roberta helped him out by covering him up and passed one of her backup jet packs to him. "Master, please stay by my side. We are in a danger zone." Roberta muttered as she tried to locate enemies through the radar, but there was nothing.
Tony wasn't scared, but he was definitely enraged.
'How dare those filthy creatures plan behind my back?' Tony couldn't believe that someone among his people dared to betray him. It couldn't be done by outsiders since he was extremely careful about it. It was someone from the inside and they had to be important enough for such a plan to work.
"I am killing someone when I get back." Tony muttered as he stayed beside Roberta. He was useless without his equipment and could rely on her for protection.
The duo didn't find anything and started flying towards Central City when they saw a flying ship approach them with an iconic symbol.
Red Ribbon Army
"Master, run away while I keep them occupied." Roberta didn't hesitate and rushed towards the enemy while pushing Tony. There was no way they could escape the enemy without a sacrifice.
The Red Ribbon Army was known across the world, including even in backwater places such as Penguin Village. Red Ribbon Army was so powerful and had such a massive influence that even Earth's Military couldn't stand a chance against it except for the Royal Knights. It was officially led by a dominating Commander Magneto, the goal of the Red Ribbon Army was to use any means necessary to obtain world domination.
"How about you both join us for a peaceful conversation, Mister Stark, Miss Roberta?"
Riding on top of the ship, Roberta was faced by one of the top officials called General Blue. He was a man with blonde hair and blue eyes. However, his attractive features hid the powerful beast inside. Roberta knew about the man and attacked without a word.
"No need for violence, it is quite futile." General Blue muttered with a smile as he stared at her with those shining eyes. It caused everything in his vision to stop. It was the power of paralysis.
Roberta couldn't move anymore and was like sitting duck. But, Blue found out that her attacks were nowhere to be seen.
Knowing who he was, Roberta never attacked him and attacked the ship. She was equipped with an electro-magnetic rifle (portable Railgun) that could shoot down aircrafts and tanks. Her attacks teleported inside the ship and caused damage to the engine, and the control room.
"You accursed bitch, die." Blue was angered by her move and shot her with a concentrated plasma beam from his gauntlet.
Tony had been unable to escape and was caught by one of Blue's men. He witnessed Roberta getting shot down by a weapon he had personally created. That fact caused him immense pain and he screamed Roberta's name in horror.
"Roberta!" The fear for the life of his loved one didn't stop Tony from thinking and he quickly acted. Using his technical gauntlet, Tony caused the captor's combat suit to malfunction and he fell from the sky.
Falling from the sky, Tony could only focus on Roberta and regretted his decision to leave without guards. He prayed that they could survive through the ordeal and he would be a good person for it. While he was falling, Blue had sent his men to capture Tony and they started flying towards him like a swarm of bees.
Just when all seemed to be hopeless, a sudden gust sent Tony and Roberta flying away from the region while the Red Ribbon army was sent flying to another side.
On that day, Tony came to know that miracles existed and that there was someone watching over the world.
