"This is… quite a lot." Elira remarked internally looking at the wedding hall as she walked down the aisle with the rest of the sisters to stand by the high priest.

She reached her spot and looked at Cassian who stood by Prince Ragnar. A surge of anger ran through the girl, and she unknowingly glared at him. This surprised him because he reckoned himself to be a handsome looking person but the way she was glaring at him told him differently.

He raised a brow and to his utter surprise, she rolled her eyes and turned to the door, looking at the bride who had begun the bridal march. Well, this was different from the girl who was scared in the throne room!

Throughout the wedding ceremony, Elira could only think of how Serein would be a married woman in a matter of minutes. Serein was a beautiful bride, her dress was gold with flecks of red running through her dress to signify that she was marrying Ragnar.

Elira was sure that her own wedding dress had lavender or purple flecks through hers which made her even more annoyed as it signified that she was Cassian's bride. She looked over at Cassian who was staring intently at his brother.

His hair was slicked back and reached his shoulders. It seemed that he had freshly shaved his face by a small nick on that unnervingly sharp jawline that he owned. She wondered why the Lords had made the worst people so attractive. He did seem like he was handsome enough to be able to lure any girl in and was well aware of it.

As she thought of this, she didn't realize that she had once again been staring at him with narrowed eyes. He, on the other hand, did notice this and was worried.

How did he manage to make her angry BEFORE Marriage?! He had heard of an angry wife but an angry Fiancé??

"I now pronounce you man and wife. Prince Ragnar, you may behold your wife." The priest spoke up, and their attention went back to the bride and groom.

Prince Ragnar lifted the veil from his beautiful bride's face and smiled at her. She grinned back which made everyone else smile. A cheer arose amongst the crowd and the audience cheered as the bride and groom walked down the aisle.

However, as they did so, a strange sensation crept up Elira's spine. She looked around as the sensation of being watched welled up.

As the venue started to empty, she noticed a man standing at the side door, staring at her intently. She attempted to identify him, but he was a stranger. Before she could think of walking toward him, Ayla pulled her away to join in with the festivities and by the time she could turn around to see him once more- he was gone.

"Strange…" Elira muttered and walked on towards the hall where a feast was set up. The king and Queen were not attending as it was known to be a rowdy tradition. All those present were nearly of the same age, meaning that they had all nearly grown together.

Elira sat by her sisters, smiling at Serein who had turned red as her husband kissed her cheek every now and then. He seemed very happy with his bride… as he should be, Elira thought.

She wondered if Cassian… No… Not in a cold, constipated hell would she allow that. She shook her head to herself and sipped from the glass of wine that was in front of her.

A sudden uproar startled her and Ragnar was carried away along with Serein, out of the hall.

"What is ha-" Elira trailed off and turned red as she realized that they were being taken to their new quarters.

A chuckle caught her attention and she saw Cassian laughing at her face. Burying her face into her glass, she attempted and failed at stopping herself from blushing.

"Oh I Hope she has a nice night…" Ayla remarked.

"Ayla!... Ayla!" The sisters exclaimed, obviously embarrassed, their voices were concealed by the amount of rowdy singing and talking around them.

Elira stood up and walked out to escape the rowdy party that had begun, not liking all the strange drunk men around her.

"Hello Puppet…" A voice called, and she turned around to put a face to the gruff voice. The balcony and the corridor was empty with the only sound being that of the wind.

"Hello…? Is someone there?" She called out, "Show yourself…"

But the silence of the night told her that she was indeed alone. Confused and somewhat unnerved, she decided to go back to her room with her sisters accompanying her.
