2 Learning

The 2nd day and 6th month, Year 105 of the Medorian Calendar was a day never to be forgotten in the Varmon Empire, the head of the Ashel household, Archduke Solomon Ashel marched arrogantly with his servant and confidante Elam Brodel towards the Hyacinth Family and a brutal fight erupted, in fact to call it a fight would be an understatement as it was a rout.

Grand duke Phillip Hyacinth was severely injured and on the brink of death, with numerous family members killed on the spot, Elam continued eradicating numerous people of the Hyacinth household with a devilish laugh and Archduke Solomon killed the high elder of the Hyacinth family which shocked onlookers as he was a Rank 7 peak stage Wizard, just a half step into Rank 8.

The two didn't stop there as they went from one noble house to another mostly Marquis and Viscount houses, wiping them off the face of the planet. They still wanted to proceed but the royal family and the Brendel Family intervened to put a stop to the madmen.

Archduke Solomon and Elam Brodel had no choice but to stop the carnage and retreat, they had already fulfilled their objectives so they weren't bothered in the least.

That day was forever remembered as the Blood moon because of the sheer amount of blood that was spilled and most importantly because Archduke Solomon revealed his full might and new rank as a Rank 8 Blood Mage. This came as a shock to all nobilities with the other archduke families having ugly expressions.

5 Years Later

A little boy with deep black hair and crimson eyes was sitting in a room while listening to the lectures he was being given by a member of the Ashel household, whose name was Dominic Ashel. Dominic being Ashel's cousin had blue eyes and blue hair, his face was round and slim with visible jawlines adding to his masculinity

"...and so, we of the Ashel family have access to five major powers from our bloodlines which are called Eye of Ashel, Psyche, Dark Body, Void Prism and Black Rain. Normally it is impossible for blood mages to have more than one but there are exceptions"

Dominic looked at him with incredulity and envy

"Like your case where your bloodline content is abnormally high"

The man kept on speaking but the boy couldn't care less as he was lost in his own thoughts. This is Cain Ashel, now five years old and a Rank 0 peak stage stage mortal which is extremely impressive considering his age. He woke up from his forced hibernation three years ago and had a lot of info dumped into his head by his consciousness.

His situation wasn't like all those novels where a certain God transferred him to another world or something of the sort, no. In his case, after the experiment was done, the Ironai deemed his body highly unstable and decided to gather enough energy to transfer to the nearest habitable world and also find a compatible gene through his genetic code.

He also had to start as a baby to allow full integration from the ground up but he wasn't able to be conscious because his mind and genetical composition was too powerful for an infant body to bear hence the hibernation that went on for two years.

Through lectures and information gathered around him, he realised that the name of this world was called Medora and is a High Ranked world. According to his family, worlds have tiers and start from Unranked to Supreme Ranked.

There were also different species here in Medora of which humans were high in number. In the Varmon Empire, there are four archduke families which are only just beneath the royal family. Unlike normal empires, the relationship between the royal family and the archduke is more of a partnership rather than a vassal.

Reason being, only the four archduke families and the royal families are blood mages. You may be wondering, just what is a blood mage. Well, unlike normal mages, they get their power from their bloodline. The advantage being, they can learn normal magic spells as well as use their powers from their bloodline.

This is why Blood Mages are feared and respected throughout the empire, the only drawbacks to blood mages is that it is very hard for them to purify their bloodline content, as the higher your content, the harder it is but they don't mind because the power they receive instead is extremely abnormal.

Cain was born with a terrifying amount of bloodline content which his system quantified as 97%, but the scariest part is that he didn't just have one bloodline, he had two and the second one stood at a whopping 100%.

Cain stayed silent and pretended he was listening before he commanded his dashboard to show

[Cain Ashel

Bloodline: Ashel (97%), Unnamed (100%)

Bloodline Purity: Ashel (5%), Unnamed (100%)

Power Access: Ashel (5), Unnamed (***)

Rank: 0

Stage: Peak

Spell(s): None

Skill(s): Basic Sword Movement (20%), Basic Hand to Hand Combat (40%)]

Cain looked at his dashboard and sighed, he had a lot of work to do really, especially after hearing a lot about the powerful beings that existed in this world. Only to realise that there are even stronger worlds than this one. He truly has been a frog in a well.

He can't even fathom how powerful a rank 10 existence is as they're called Gods, his own father is a Rank 8 existence and he is practically an overlord here who could travel voids, and cross worlds like he was trekking.

Earth that he came from was just an unranked world and yet people were doing unimaginable things. He sighed again

"....so, that's all for today Cain, please make sure to meet up with Sabina as she's been on my neck ever since" Dominic said as he looked at Cain warmly.

Cain nodded without saying anything as he stood up from his seat since his day was over. Frankly, he liked this family and what it stood for. They believed in family first no matter what, everyone else were ants and useless in their eyes. They would kill and maim to suit their benefits, hence their nickname Ashel Demons.

Cain was glad because of how free and unfettered they were, and he also was glad because of the way they operated. After all he had been through during his time on earth, he found it hard to genuinely smile, laugh, or even get angry but at least now he had a goal and it was simple, never to be weak again, he loathed the word righteousness to his very bones and swore to never be like his foolish self back on earth.

He left the room and proceeded towards the garden outside to get a feel of this new life, he would always do this ever since he found out about the garden and visited it. A maidservant saw him and immediately bowed while speaking

"Young master, young mistress Sabina is requesting for your presence"

Cain stopped and was silent as he stared at this maidservant showing no emotion whatsoever to the extent she started sweating. He sighed before he spoke in a cold but childish voice

"Tell her to meet me at the garden if she wants to see me, or she can wait till I'm done there before meeting up with her"

The maidservant nodded and immediately left to deliver the message, in fact she was practically running. Cain was already used to their behaviour, firstly because of his vibe and secondly because of his potential and power. Not that he cared anyways

He resumed his walk to the garden, after walking for about thirty minutes he reached a very large garden with different flowers and a large and tall white tree in the middle. Its body was completely white, its leaves were white and even the fruits were white.

The fruits resembled an apple but a little bigger, the tree was called White, very lazy naming but apt as well. Whoever named it couldn't be bothered with the naming.

Cain stood in front of the tree and observed it silently, then he immediately controlled his psyche as he willed his mental waves to wrap around a white fruit that was high up and plucked it with precision.

The fruit floated and landed on his palm as he took a bite and then ate everything up, immediately he finished eating it he heard a prompt

[High energy substance detected]

[Separating molecules and assimilating with bloodline]

[Completed]

[Ashel purity now 5.1%]

[Slight Energy Increase]

Cain nodded as he heard the prompt, this was his main reason coming here, his family had no idea this fruit could do something like this and just considered it a fruit that increased energy. If they knew that this fruit could increase purity, they would've cursed themselves long ago for being idiots.

He decided to stay around for a while before heading back inside and just as he was about to find a spot to sit, he heard a voice behind him

"Ah this little brother of mine, you really need to at least show me some respect"

The voice was soft and held no malice but had a lot of playfulness in it. Cain turned to see who it was and wasn't surprised. It was a light tanned woman who looked to be in her late thirties with silver hair and crimson eyes, she bore a small resemblance to Solomon but was exceptionally beautiful and the energy radiating from her showed her rank 3 peak stage blood mage level.

"Big sister Sabina, what brings you here?" Cain said in an unfeeling voice which contained a little childishness.

Sabina smiled, she and everyone in the household were already used to the way Cain communicated so she didn't mind one bit. she walked towards Cain and gave him a bear hug before he could even react, he could only sigh helplessly.

"This big sis of yours hasn't seen you since today and I miss you, come on at least pretend to smile for me" Sabina teased him as usual but she wasn't expecting much but to her surprise, she saw Cain...smiling?

"You! Ar-are you alright?" Sabina said in a high pitched tone

Cain retracted his smile and his cold visage lightened up a bit. Truthfully, as someone who's lived for over two hundred years, he saw Sabina as a little kid and was always reminded of his own daughter

"I'm alright, no need for the theatrics, I'm just about to relax, wanna join?" Cain asked nonchalantly.

Sabina shook her head instead and calmed down, assuring herself that she was seeing things

"Aya, looks like my sweet brother wants some sibling time"

"You came to me first" Cain retorted

Sabina chuckled, she truly loves her little brother and also loves teasing him

"Okay okay, fine. But nah, I'm just using the message I have to deliver as an excuse to see my cute little brother" She winked as she looked at Cain

"And what message would that be?" Cain instead pretended not to see what she did

"Well, it's regarding your Noble introduction, it's next week and father wants you to be prepared accordingly...so well, you'll be heading to the Cave of beginnings tomorrow" Sabina said with a slight worry on her face

Cain instead broke into an evil grin as his eyes turned pitch black for a split second before reverting to normal. Sabina saw this and her worry dissipated, to be replaced by slight fear

Cain calmed himself down and looked at his sister in the eyes as he spoke

"Seems like I'll have a busy day tomorrow"
