13 Chapter 12

Liam entered into his room feeling quite relieved everything had turned out as he wanted it ,few days ago the school Authorities had apprehended peter and peter was expelled from the prestigious university, not only that he had been escorted by the police to be locked in jail for attempted rape ,it turns out the school have received many reports regarding his escapades in school but couldn't take repercussions because peter father was one of the major funder and patron of PRUB.

Liam surely saw it as bullshit and had called his father to step into the matter ,which was currently been handled he had also ensured Iris did not become affected by the whole ordeal even when the school administration had called her for interrogation he had ensured his real identity wasn't disclosed.

Liam had hardly sat down on the coffee couch in his living room while sipping from a chilled bottled water when the door burst open almost spilling water on his shirt he raised his head muttering a curse to find Erin standing tapping her feet in irritation her hands placed akimbo as she glared at him.

"What happened to knocking ,I could have been naked you know" Liam said facing her with a scowl seeing she was also in a foul mood

"My Prince what's all this rumour I hear about you roaming around school with that bedraggled mouse" Erin asked shouting at him ,all sense of decorum out of place.

Liam cocked his brow at her

"Seriously, if I drove round school with a bedraggled mouse,what about it"

What was her problem he f*****g didn't owe her an explanation

"What about it?" Erin rhetorically repeated his question

Liam lazily stared at her as he lazily settled down on the coffee couch stretching his long legs comfortably

"Erin am not entitled to explain what I do and don't to you and since when did I needed your permission before I relate with a girl"

Erin at that moment was on a slim thread of loosing it,she had scurried off to see Liam when she had found out he was the one responsible for Peter expulsion from the school,it was no secret that he had attempted to rape the lowlife but finding out was enough to leave her aggravated.

"So you choose to hang out with that slutty golddigger "

She was not about to allow all she had worked for crumble down because of a little fly.

"Okay" now this was so much for liam to take "the last time I checked you are not my girlfriend so please spare me"

It was time to stop giving her the wrong signals,He angrily dropped the water bottle glaring at her.

"You are treating me this way all because of a shitty lowlife you just met" Erin asked looking at him in a way Liam thought she was going to start a well practised act ,she was a drama queen after all.

"Again I would warn you not to insult someone you haven't even met,the best thing I suggest right now is that you leave,obviously you are in a foul mood though I don't see any reason why "

"You are asking me to leave" this was too much for her to take, she couldn't have felt more insulted when he ignored her dismissing her presence.

"Its not your fault ohhh...Liam its my fault for loving you when I have guys flouncing there self's around me"

Yes she had them at the palms of her fingers but not him so why wouldn't she just leave him alone, he rolled his eyes ignoring her presence.

Erin eyed him for a few seconds hissing loudly she walked towards the door"Bastard" she called out hitting the door with a loud thud.

Liam hissed loudly himself he needed to figure out away to explain to that girl that to love is not by force,her clinging to him only made him more irritated towards her.

The door opened again making Liam snap

"What is it this time"

Philip appeared raising his hands up quite amused "woah! Woah!chill man ,its me,your little princess just pushed passed me looking really pissed"

He threw a derisively questioning brow at Liam who had no intention of feeding on his piqued curiosity

"Just leave the story for another day its not worth it"

"Okay kinda agree with you on that one ,so I heard you have been sticking your aristocratic nose in someone's else business "

Philip gave his friend a crooked smile which said he knew better ,he took the sit opposite Liam

"Liam studied him " you know me very well I don't do that"

"But you broke the rules,your rules"

"whatever Philip,I don't have the strength to feed your curiosity , so go get drunk or something"

"Haha ,i seem to be enjoying this, You are changing your highness,Breaking your rules and society etiquettes" Philip watched as he was frozen now looking at him

"What did you call me now "Liam asked

" common prince enough with the facade,you can hide who you are from the world but not me "

"I just wanted to be treated like a normal person,so don't change the way you are towards me"Liam replied as he watched his friend

" sure your highness"

"Please don't call me that here,I know you would figure it out but that remains with you please " Liam said with a pained look as he dropped his iphone with a shrug then padded towards the adjoined bathroom

"You even took pictures of her " Philip said as he scrolled through pictures of iris,grinning from ear to ear.

Liam quickly grabbed the phone from him "Privacy man"

He headed back to the bathroom shutting the door to silence Philip laughter ,what he needed right now was a cool shower not being the sole target of his pest of a friend intelligent probing gaze.

IRIS strolled through the sets of benches shaded by tall orchards and palm trees,a round fountain stood at the center of the garden where beautiful painted rocks have been constructed like a pyramid ,water gushed out from the little holes punched into the pyramid rock purposely, molded Goblins stood over the fountain in a fascinated attempt to touch the gushing water .

This part of the garden was considered as one of the most beautiful scenery in PRUB(prestigious royal university Benin) and one of most students favourite spot for relaxation ,almost half of the benches was occupied by students enjoying the view and cool breeze the orchards had to offer .

Iris spotted Liam sitting at the far end alone with his long legs crossed ,his eyes focused on the water fall with an headset on his ear, she saw group of ladies seated opposite him as they ogled him she saw a girl secretly taking pictures of him which Iris scoffed at their ridiculousness

Gosh! At arms length he was so drop dead gorgeous clad in designer dark blue jeans and a dark shirt with matching dark boots which obviously screamed money ,Iris thought he looked like one of those Alpha models that are been displayed for admiration in all those fancy magazines to fill every woman's fantasy so she couldn't blame almost half the girl present as they kept on drooling over him or tried to get his attention.

Iris had never believed destiny would throw her back into his path , William had saved her from being raped and had peter had been expelled from school , its been three days since peter expulsion after the hell peter parents had threatened to let loosed how the matter was later resolved Iris has no idea, despite the uproar about the rape ,her dignity had been preserved all thanks to William.

William she concluded was not as bad as she had painted him to be only their meetings had been awkward ,though she ain't a good judge of character another score for Ivie .
