"Mmm, Star of Callavan, what are you doing here in Euntaras?"

"Who are you?"

"You don't need to know. You don't need to interfere either. I am just here to do my business."

Iowyrthe unsheathed his sword. They started fighting. This man with black cape then drawing some runes and summoned many big black spiders. It was as big as lion.

"Nicholas!" The shadow warriors lead by Nicholas then started clearing the spiders. Nicholos took initiative to secure the elder. After he was taken to safe place and in care of Doctor June, Nicholos go back to the elder house.

The man with black cape throwed many black blades, so far Iowyrthe can avoid the attack. Those blades flying fast and Iowyrthe didn't see any opening. He stretched out his hands. All the blades stopped mid-air.

"Freeze."

In the woods Chan traced the footprint to the springs.

"Felix!" He looked for Felix.

"Felix, I don't want him to know. He will definitely tell the Duke."

"Alright, I will distract him, take him a little bit further, and Princess, you can follow the stream and go to the Euntaras tree. Your maid and Sir Taek are looking for you too."

"Alright. I trust you, Felix."

Iris hid for a while until Felix took Chan up a little. She followed the stream and went back to the town area. When she arrived at the centre, she walked to the tree and touch its trunk with her bloody hand. No one was there.

"I have done what I can do, Euntaras."

"I know. Thank you," new green sprout grew right in the spot where Iris blood left. Iris felt some indescribable peace. She cried.

"Princess, where have you been?" Rosetta called her.

"Oh, sorry I just want to go out."

"Sir Taek, let's go, I think the Duke were in a battle. They need help. I saw thick black mana coming in from the elder house." Felix and Sir Chan met them.

"Princess we better go to Doctor June. Your hand is hurt," Rosetta dragged her. Iris heart grew weary hearing that the Duke was in a battle with evil people and strong mana. "Will he be okay?"

Doctor June was currently treated the sick with the very small amount of Euntaras essence they made. Hoppi dilute it so all the infected were able to get treated. The maids, servants, and the healthy townsmen were distributed potion and treated the sick. They also treated the elder, which apparently had the worst effect.

Hoppi treated Princess Iris wound when she come. They moved all the sick far from elder house since the battle was heated. Princess Iris helped in taking care children and women who were sick along with Rosetta. They decided to move some people to the centre near the tree.

"Doctor, I saw… I saw a new sprout…" A townsman who was getting better shouted. Everyone looked surprised.

"Let me check." Doctor June was very surprise.

Meanwhile in the elder house, the knights and warrior working so hard battling spiders. They tried to keep it there and didn't go out so, it will not harm the other outside. Felix kept shooting his arrow fused with mana. Therefore, all mana users tried the same.

"No…!" Suddenly the man in black cape screamed. He made a bigger rune and summoned a shadow beast. The man in black cape then left the battle.

"You coward!" Iowyrthe shouted.

At the moment, Iowyrthe and the knights was exhausted. Nicholas asked Marquis Kvasir to back them up.

While they focused on the beast, there are two spiders slipped and start looking for prey. It saw the people near the tree and started to walk there. Iris saw that her ring sparked red light. A child shout, "Mother look! Huge spider!"

Iris thought there was no other way to save these people, she was about to make protection bubble. That's when Sir Thomas who was in charge of managing maids and servant to help jump and pulled two swords from his back. His swords were concealed. Thanks to Metuselah. He cut the two spiders quick and stopped it from attacking. He fused his mana into his swords. Iris sighed and felt relief.

The Euntaras tree gradually changed back into its green leaves.

"Hoppi, gather more of the leaves. Go made essence like we experiment before. Once ready bring it here." Doctor June shouted. Some people followed Hoppi to help him collect leaves and made the essence. Some were tasked to distribute it once it ready.

The beast was throwing fires. Luckily, the spiders were gradually decreasing. They decided to move the injured to be treated by the Doctor.

"Judah… Trap it with ice. I will freeze time and attack his chest. Boy," he referred to Felix, "aim his eyes when I told you. Wish me luck."

"Boy, now!" Felix released his arrow. It stabbed right to its left eye.

Iowyrthe ran fast with the energy and mana he has left. He aimed the sword into the chest. He froze the time and stabbed its heart with all his might. He made it. However, the beast released its last fire blast. His time freeze was up and he took the blast right away.

"Io…!" Judah screamed.

Iris's ring was sparked blinding white light.

"Duke?" She turned her head to the direction of the elder house. A boom sound was blasting. The ground shook. She ran to the elder house. Sir Thomas saw her running and caught her.

"Princess, it is too dangerous."

"Sir, it's the Duke…" A tear was falling.
