4 Hallucinations

After last night, I was surprisingly active in the morning. Don’t get me wrong but after seeing him I couldn’t sleep even a bit. It was hard as I kept thinking about what he said and what I saw in my dream. Finally when the alarm went off, I was pulled out of my train of thoughts. That was when I realized it was time for me to get up and dress up to go to school. School….. between him and my dreams I completely forgot about school. I got down from my bed and started going about my daily routine.

Since I was in no mood for bright clothes I put on a black hoodie and black leggings matching it with my white converse….. who was I kidding…pfft.. when was I ever in a mood for bright coloured clothes. I pulled my hair into a messy bun and went down to greet my parents before leaving.

When I got down I saw Alex sitting by the counter eating cereal. “Where’s Mom?” I asked him.”She left early today. Said she had some exhibition. The usual…” He said with a shrug. I nodded and grabbed a bowl and spoon to have my breakfast.” Do you want a ride? I am gonna head out anyway.” He asked. I nodded yes and asked him ”Where are you going?” “I’m going to Felix’s to hang out.” He replied quickly.

Later Alex dropped me off at school. I entered the school corridor and went straight to my locker. I saw that there was a note stuck on its door. I took it and started reading what was written on it.

"Seal the broken heart of a soul alike,

And do so before time runs out for her”

It was really strange I turned the paper around to see if there was any hint as to who wrote it. I found nothing apart from the cryptic message.

“Hey..” Ryan whispered near my ear. I jumped a bit and turned around to see him laughing along with the other two. “Gosh.. you scared me!!!” I told him.”It was pretty easy as you were distracted by the love note in your hand. Who is the unlucky guy?” he asked with a look that told me that he was clearly interested in knowing who sent me the note. Suddenly Zoey grabbed the note from my hand and read it aloud.”Seal the broken heart of a soul alike and do so before time runs out for her??? What on earth is this? If it’s a love note the guy who wrote it might be a lit geek and has very little experience writing love notes.” She joked. Alan and Ryan laughed beside her and I couldn’t help but crack a smile after hearing her reply. “I don’t know who this is from and I don’t think it is a love note. I think someone might have got the wrong locker and stuck it here.” I replied with a shrug.

After that we went on with our day. It was just like any normal day and it ended pretty soon too. I decided to take a walk back home as I wanted some fresh air. I started walking and my mind wandered off again as it did always. Soon I was thinking about the mysterious guy and the dreams. I put one and one together I guessed that he was under some kind of curse if what he said was true. I stopped walking and gasped with a sudden realization. ‘What if the note I got today morning was actually from him? It did have something about curse written on it.’ I thought to myself. But then what if all this was a part of a big prank and I was just being played by him and his friends. I started walking again still thinking. If it was a prank how would it explain the dreams I am having? I thought again. It was so confusing I shrugged it off soon.

I reached home and saw that Alex wasn’t home yet. I decided to watch something on Netflix. But even after surfing for quite some time, I couldn't find anything. So I decided to start on my assignments. After some time I heard someone ringing the bell. I thought it would be Alex so I went down.

I opened my door and saw that it wasn't just Alex. He had company. I stepped outside and turned to see....." ANDRIYA....." I saw my most favorite niece running towards me. I hugged her. It had been a long time since I have seen her. She had grown tall. "Hey Bloom... How are you?" I asked her. I looked up and saw my cousin standing in front of us smiling at me. " Hey little girl.. I see you have grown up." He said smiling. " Hey Ian.. How are you doing and where is Elena?" I asked him. " She was not able to come. She had some work to do." Ian said with a smile. "oh.. Well how have you been?" I asked him. "I am fine. How are you ? How is school?" " I am fine. School is good except for the homework. Its tiring. Did you and Alex come together?" I asked."Oh no... we just ran into each other right outside" Ian replied. "Hey Andriya?" Bloom asked me. " Yeah Bloom?" I asked her. Her face is so adorable. " Can I stay with you today? Pweeese....." She said while making puppy eyes." Okay.. You can stay if your daddy gives you permission to do so." I smiled at her. " Daddy can I stay here with Andriya?? " She asked Ian. " Yes darling you may do so. But don't forget to behave yourself." Ian replied. " Yes Daddy.. Thank you." Bloom replied smiling cheekily.

Soon Ian left and Bloom and I decided to go up to my room where I had some of my old dolls and toys. I gave them to her and continued doing my work.

I was up late doing my homework while Bloom was sleeping peacefully on the bed. I was so tried. I glanced at the clock and saw that it was already 1:35. ‘Oh god when am I going to finish this. High school really sucks.’ I thought. After another half an hour I finished my work. When I turned back I saw him again, standing beside my bed looking at Bloom.

I looked at him. He looked sad while he was looking at Bloom. His face which usually had a hard cold expression on was now softened like he was remembering some fond memory from his distant past which he lost. " Hasn't anyone taught you that staring is rude?." he suddenly spoke up slowly looking away from Bloom and his face hardened as soon as he faced me. " Says you who has been practically stalking me for the past 24 hours." I retorted back to him. He smiled a little bit. "You are different." "Well I don't think I am as different as you are." " You are right. I am different. That is because I choose to be so. " he said that with a blank emotionless face. I was really confused now.

What does he mean? "What do you mean? " I asked him. "You have to wait until the time is right." He said. Great, now I am more confused... "Wha....??" I looked up and saw that he had disappeared again. I looked around. Yep.. He is gone again. This guy and his vanishing acts. Ugh……
