12 Father-like

Auroar’s POV(before he visits Andriya at school and right after Andriya agrees to believe in him):

There was something about that girl that drew me towards her. Something that I had known but forgot about. I just couldn’t pinpoint on it. At first I assumed she would be like the spoiled brats of this era but as I started observing her more I realised she was different from others. Joseph was right after all.

I went to visit her expecting to be thrown out but she surprised me by agreeing to believe me. Then it happened. Something I thought I wouldn’t be able to do ever again in the rest of eternity. She held my hand. I had forgotten how a human touch felt like. For the first time after centuries I felt something. Something deep inside me that gave me a small flame of hope. But then her brother interrupted us and I had to leave.
