She turned toward the opposite side and after Yun Che completed wearing his clothes, she asked

"Little Che, why did you come here? You can't leave your wife alone on your wedding day like this. Now quickly come back with me." Xiao Lingxi tried pulling Yun Che towards Xiao Clan.

"Little aunt, you still haven't answered my question. Why did you come alone here?" Yun Che asked a question of his own.

Xiao Lingxi looked down and answered, "I was not getting sleep and I just came for a walk."

'She is obviously lying' he thought but he didn't ask.

"Little aunt, Qingyue married me as it was a promise between our parents. She doesn't love me and well as me. It just won't work for us." Yun Che carelessly answered.

Xiao Lingxi felt worried hearing that from Yun Che but a part of her also felt happy?

"But Little Che, she is already your wife. Be it by promise or not. You must take good care of her."

Yun Che remembered how Qingyue treated him. The cold attitude she showed..... The contempt he received..... He didn't' matter to her. If at all, he was a genius in cultivation, she would have been good to him. But as he was a cripple, he was treated just like air.
