45 Chapter 45: Hiatus

Chu Yuechan's face was slightly flushed due to the prior incident of her being held by Yun Che in his arms. Not wanting Yun Che to realize this, she hastily put on her ice silk veil.

"I have to leave now. I am looking forward to meeting Junior Brother later..." she said in a plain tone with her back facing him.

With her profound floating technique, she started to make her way back to her courtyard.

Yun Che watched as her snowy attire gently swayed in the wind and she flew away.

He then glanced at his hands and pulled one of them closer to his chest checking his heartbeat which was erratic.

"She did change a lot..." he muttered.

Chu Yuechan who was on her way paused, turned to look back, pressed her hands to her chest, and with a smile returned to her Courtyard.
