A Thousand Year Reign

Kate only spent a few months cold to me before the inability to communicate with anyone else brought her back to my bed. It's like they say, if you love her let her go and if she comes back you own her.

Not that I lacked female company with the women of the last dynasty filling my harem. Flaxen women looked great too, and that is more than my admiration and envy of Captain Kirk banging all those alien chicks speaking. Sorta like Asari from Mass Eeffect without noses and with longer head tentacles. And teal instead of blue.

And damn randy when their lives depend on it.

Kate chose to swallow rather than bear my children, so the first Viltrumite hybrid born in this dimension came from the former Empress in the form of my first daughter Cassiopia. Testing showed that our DNA was incredibly compatible, so just like with humans, Cassiopeia and all her siblings expressed entirely Viltrumite traits.

With the birth of my first child everything was perfect except all the shit that wasn't. I couldn't go a week without having to put down some fresh coup d'état, rebellion, or terrorist cell. It was almost like these Flaxans didn't understand that I could keep up the violence far far longer than they could.

On the plus side, the protein bar synthesizers never lacked input during the early days of my reign. Hell, people could get fat off the extra supply as the population declined. On the plus side the slave races loved me and couldn't wait to sell out every traitor they could find. A little too eager as I discovered that some of the people they called me on were just assholes, not actual traitors.

After a decade in power people finally figured out that I was both the immovable object and the unstoppable force. Millions died, but we finally had peace. I kept my bloated intelligence department though. Always someone in need of arrest after all.

Finally ruling a massive Empire became the cake walk it always should have been. I spent only a few hours a day in committee meetings with people too terrified to do anything that displeases me, approved a few things here and there, and the rest of the dimension was smart enough to not demand my attention.

I got to train my children extensively as their powers came in and educate them to be excellent adults. Of course it helped that on the same datapad I kept Robot's translation of the Flaxan Language I also kept a large library of other text books for me to study slowly, all augmented by information from the Flaxan dimension. I took an especial interest in engineering as despite my capacity for self powered flight I loved hovercrafts and space ships. Many of my kids shared my enthusiasm, and many days and nights were spent building faster and faster hover bikes and boards.

Kate spent a day watching us work and came to the realization that I wasn't Darth Vader all the time. We welcomed our first child a year later and discovered that all life conceived in the Flaxan Dimension obeyed its laws. Our baby was not in anyway temporally retarded, and grew as a normal fetus, then a normal boy, then a normal man. Well, normal for a Viltrumite anyway.

Despite a few bumps in the road, my growing family provided me much joy, and much relief as my kids started taking over more responsibility for the Empire from our feeble subjects. Each year the number of my adult children grew by the hundreds and soon enough my grandchildren grew up too. Then my great grandchildren.

During this time Kate and I lived as hedonists, doing whatever we wanted, but our personal tastes leaned enough towards vanilla that it never got too destructive and debasing.

Of course not everything was kumbaya within the Imperial Family of the Neo Viltrumite Empire, not at all. I had hundreds of sons and daughters a year, and it was very obvious that some of them would have ambitions beyond working as servants to an Eternal Emperor. I crushed enough dreams in my time to pave a highway from one end of my Empire to the other.

Though I changed during my time in the Flaxan Dimension, I was physically stuck at eighteen, and as the centuries creeped by Kate didn't age either. After we both submitted to testing it was discovered that I was radioactive, but in a good way not the give you cancer way. Basically, my body produced a beneficial to life exotic energy that was mostly blocked by my skin.

Cuddling with me was a fine cure for the common cold, but the true pay dirt was in my vital bodily fluids. My blood and semen made the Geiger Counter absolutely sing. My jizz was the reason Kate wasn't aging, and the regular ingestion could retard the aging process significantly. When mixed with the effects of the Flaxan Dimension it halted it near entirely.

Hell, my loads made her stronger overtime. After a thousand years of taking it from me the girl was as strong as the Immortal, not a threat to a well trained Viltrumite, but she also grew her cloning powers, able to quickly create hundreds of perfect copies of herself all coordinated through a telepathic network. She could pin down an entire platoon of my kids by herself and training horde mode against her became a favorite pastime even for me, and if Kate enjoyed punching me in the face a little too much, who was I to complain? Shit happens in sparring and the woman more than made up for it in bed.

During the sixth century of my reign I started preparing for my return to Earth. Creating Drones capable of entering beyond observation range and returning that distance before porting back to the Flaxan dimension. Each drone operated for many decades our time to bring me back only a sliver of information, but thousands of drones operating together painted a very full picture of the situation on Earth, and a little applied logic turned that picture into a plan over the centuries.

Unfortunately Kate began experiencing an all too frequent mental fatigue. Her motivation slipped more and more away from her each year, only seeming to come back out when we fought both physically and emotionally.

It wasn't the end of everything good between us, not at all, but our time together became more and more gray. It wasn't like with Monster Girl, who couldn't figure out a new language in seven hundred years, as Kate spoke Flaxan and English became more and more common in the Empire. Kate wasn't pulling away to find herself with someone new. She was just so tired of everything that it made my decision to abdicate on Cassiopeia's thousandth birthday all the easier.

We could have left far sooner, but I was having too much fun with my various projects and descendants.

When the time came for us to depart the Flaxan Dimension Kate smiled for the first time in months, causing me to respond in turn with my brightest smile in recent memory.

"Let's go." I grinned as I opened the portal to Earth.

You lucky dogs. I was gettimg reasdy to post the next chapter when I realized I needed a little more context for the payoff to hit right. So now you get two chapters today and while I am not to thrilled about the journal entry type story telling of this chapter I can live with it.
