Chapter 80. Arctic Zone (2/3)

"What the..." Beth, who was sitting on a flying boat along with Tirus, nearly cursed, shocked by the scene infront of her eyes.

When Tirus told her that there was another region beneath the Twlight Zone, she could guess what that region would look like due to the description of it given to her by him, but when she saw this Arctic Zone for the first time, she couldn't help but feel a sense of shock.

"Calm down." Tirus said in a monotone voice, "Have you memorized that spell?"

"Yes, that spell, right." she replied. She knew what spell he was talking about, it was a spell that specialized in defending the truesoul of the user from outside influence.

"That's good." Tirus murmurmed. The Arctic queen had the ability to make illusions, so going to her without prepareing soul defensive measures was asking for a quick death, although Tirus still had a high chance of survival due to his A.I. chip, he still needed a spell if he wanted to counter her.

Just as they were making their advance, a snow white figure appeared infront of them.

"Please, stop, otherwise, don't blame me for being cruel." The figure had a humanoid body, but what made him stand out was his scorpion tail and rank 4 cultivation.

"What can you even do?" Tirus snorted as he released his rank 5 aura, completely supressing the other party.

"What!" The scorpion man exclaimed in shock as the pressure pushed him to the ground.

"Wait, let me finish this." Unexpectedly, Beth came forth and released a spell.

The spell was quite simple, it was a fireball, but this fireball was only the size of a fingernail. It was emitting a scarlet color and extremely high tempreture.

As soon as the it made contact with the scorpion man, the scorpion man's whole body was turned into ash within a second.

'So fast.' Tirus thought and said, "Good job, now..." He didn't continue and started to attack his surroundings.

"Destroy anything that you see." Tirus casually said as several white figures appeared infront of him.

"Sir, please stop." These people had two heads and their bodies were covered in ice shards, they were most probably frost elves.

"No." Tirus answered them without a second thought attacked them with his four tentacles as he opened his mouth wide.

*Chomp*

The entire body of a frost elf was devoured by Tirus and turned into nutrients.

Ever since he reconstructed this body of his, he didn't feel the need to eat or drink at all. And after his recent break through to rank 5, he could stay alive without eating or drinking anything for 50~90 years if he wanted to.

"You'll regret this." Another frost elf's eyes turned azure in color as his voice became distorted. Soon, all the frost elves self-detonated, but this couldn't damage Tirus or Beth at all.

"I'll see." Tirus scoffed and increased the speed of the flying boat and disappwared from the scene. This boat was especially prepared for these kinds of situations so it was easy for the both of them to survive this attack.

*Zing*

The entire Arctic Zone was covered in Tirus's spiritual force, "She's there." The atmosphere around boat became unstable, and in the next moment, Tirus and Beth reached their destination. In front of them was a white mountain, which was an illusion created by the Arctic Queen.

"Child's play." This time, Beth murmurmed from behind as both she and Tirus activated their truesoul defense spells.

Soon, the mountian disappeared and revealed a cavity in the ground, at the centre, dense icy-spiritual energy was concentrated and there was a humanoid giant with a head of a scorpion.

"What! How did you..." Before the giant with the scorpion head, the Arctic queen, could finish her sentence, they both barraged her with fire element spells.

"Be trapped." The Arctic Queen murttered thewords as both of them were trapped inside an icy cage.

"Let me handle this one." Beth said and scales appeared on her body and started emitting a faint scarlet radiance.

*Rumble*

The surroundings rumbled and soon, a 10,000 meter tall giant red bone dragon appeared on the scene. This was Beth's, a dragon warlock's, transformation.

*Roar*

"Wait, we can make a deal!" The Arctic queen shouted at the top of her lungs. Her illusions weren't working on these people and it felt as if they simply wanted to kill her, even though they barely knew each other.

'How did we get bad blood between us?" She thought, but then, she discisively used her full power to kill these pests as soon as possible.

"Not today." Tirus said as he appeared behind her and a rank 6 aura spread out.

"Rank 6! How? You're clearly rank 5." The Arctic Queen was shocked by the sudden change in her opponent's radiation.

"Of course, I'm still at rank 5, but not this." He smiled and a bloodline imprint manifested itself infront of him.

"A rank 6 bloodline?" These were the last words the Arctic queen ever said as her bodywas completely destroyed by the overbearing power of the Sun's child bloodline.
