Chapter 38. The Secret Plane ( 2 )

A month after the overtake,

Tirus entered the secret passage under the headquarters of the guild along with Beth.

She led the way, taking five to six turns and walking through several secret passages, they encountered the entrance of the secret plane.

Near the entrance, two branded swordsmen were standing guard, seeing Beth and Tirus, they prostrated on the ground.

"Take us to the formation." Beth commanded with an expressionless face and soon, they arrived at the formation. They were enveloped by a white light soon after the formation started.

After a few seconds, Tirus opened his eyes and scanned the area.

After scanning the area, he came to a conclusion that there was an abundance of fire, earth, and plant energy elemental particles. And the density was even higher than the outside world by 40% with a land area of total 1 million km2.

And although it was the secret plane of the Sun forge guild, it hadn't been properly developed at all due to the lack of manpower. Actually, the three magus leaders of the Sun forge guild luckily stumbled upon this secret realm in the past, and thus decided to make their headquarters above this place.

This was also the reason they were able to maintain the guild for so long.

Actually, most medium and large-scale organizations usually had their own secret planes, but only a select few could enter the secret realm since it was the main source of income for many guilds.

"Tell me about the geography." Tirus asked Beth about the geography and the social structure here.

"This secret plane really was underdeveloped. There were only two special resource points. Other than that, there were 3 small human kingdoms, no, they can't even be called kingdoms, it would be more accurate to call them 'cities', they are full of ordinary humans who work for the magi.

I mean, why even make several human kingdoms? Shouldn't one big kingdom be enough?"

Beth started explaining the geographical structure of this secret plane, while constantly complaining about how badly it was managed.

"Maybe because there were three leaders." Tirus murmured in a low voice, he continued,

"How about we recruit students from here?" Tirus inquired, Beth turned her head towards him and asked him in confusion "Why do you want them as students, master?"

Tirus put on a smile as he explained further.

"We will just recruit those with talent higher than grade 3. Plus, we can also put in the condition of them having to be orphans, so nobody could benefits from their status as magi students." Tirus had no interest in changing any of her assumptions, so he just stated what he meant more precisely.

"Hm, now that I think about it, it really is a good idea." Beth came to a realization after contemplating about it for a while.

"But first, let's go to the castle I constructed for you, master!" She said excitedly.

"Hm, take me there." Tirus nodded.

Thereafter, Tirus was taken to a luxurious castle far away from the human cities. It was built with white marble with beautiful fountains on both sides with all kinds of herbs and flowers growing.

"What is your plan for this castle?" Tirus inquired in a tone filled with curiosity.

"The time passes at almost the same rate as the outside world, so you can come and live here, and cultivate , all no one will ever disturb you. I intend to keep flesh golems as guards." Beth replied while puffing out her chest with a proud expression.

"Hm, good idea."

...

"What? We are eligible to be magi disciples?" Karl inquired the man in black armor, completely shocked.

"Yes." The knight didn't say anything anymore as he led both Karl and Hannah to a tent far away.

After half an hour,

"Brother! I have grade 4 aptitude." Hannah exclaimed in a jovial tone.

"Oh, I see. Your talent is good, but not as good as mine." Karl replied with a satisfied expression on his face.

"Why?" Hannah asked.

"Because I have grade 5 aptitude." He was the older sibling, so now that he had a higher talent grade than his sister, he naturally felt good.

"What? Really?" Hannah asked confused, skeptical of her brother's claims.

"What element do you have the highest affinity with?"

"Earth." Karl answered almost immediately.

"Eww. What will you do when you become a magi? Throw dirt at your opponents?" Hannah started making fun of his earth element affinity.

She genuinely thought that earth and water were the weakest of all the elements.

"What's yours?" Karl inquired, ignoring his sister's words.

"Ice."

"Hmph, thats it?" Karl mocked Hannah for having the highest affinity with Ice element but he secretly thought 'If only I had affinity with ice, damn it!'.

But regardless of what his thoughts were, he was happy for his sister.

"But whatever it is, we can now have much better lives." Karl murmured as he hugged his sister.

After getting on the carriage, they awaited their future eagerly.
