I quickly walk in behind her only for her to disappear in the crowd of people.
I look around over the heads of people and was only met by Tendo's smirk.
Oh great.
"Well look who actually came! I wasn't expecting you to come after saying you were late," Tendo walked over to me as well as Semi.
I quickly try to hide my expression from them and mumble a quick sure.
"Let's go to the table with the team, we saved you a seat," Semi clapped happily, I nod.
Semi leads us to a decently large table filled by our friends who were checking out the waitresses passing by.
"Look who's here," Tendo laughed as we sat down.
"Did it freeze over hell? To actually see the day Ushijima gets outta his house to have fun then just to go to school or volleyball practice," Shirabu laughed as well as everyone else.
"Very funny," I mumbled and called for a waiter.
"What would you like cutie?," a waitress smiled at me.
"Vodka," I mumbled.
"Starting off strong I see? What's got your panties in a twist?," Tendo poked my shoulder.
"Nothing," I grumbled as I look around the room hoping to find my mysterious girl.
"I can't wait for you guys to see my friend, very pretty, very smart," Semi pauses "eh sometimes, but Ashton our buddy has sworn on his life that her voice is like," he does a chefs kiss to the air and smiles "heaven."
"You're hyping her to much, why do I feel like I'll be disappointed?," Kawanishi sighed.
"Didn't you say you never heard her voice? Are we getting scammed?," Shirabu shook his head.
"First I'm paying dipshit so if we do get scammed I'm actually the one that lost money so shut it, second I trust my buddy Ashton and one thing for sure is that he ain't no liar," Semi smiled.
"I don't mind in the end, there are so many pretty girls here I feel like I'm in heaven already," Tendo laughed.
"Plus the appetizers are delicious," Ohira nodded in approval as Tendo and him fist bump one another.
"So what actually got you to come today?," Kawanishi turned to me as he drank his margarita.
"Got bored at home," I sighed and looked at the rim of my cup.
Honestly my mind was elsewhere.
The only thing replaying in my head was the girl from before, I can't forget her voice, how playful yet stern she was, shy but very overpowering. Frustrated I call for another vodka and downed the liquid like it was nothing. I rub my head and take a deep breath before sighing.
"By how you look right now seems like somethings on your mind bud," Kawanishi smirked.
"Oo do tell, is it perhaps miss blonde girl you've been having over since we got here, finally caught feelings for her?," Tendo laughed.
"Oh please we all know that chick is not Ushijima's type and is a total show off," suddenly Semi looks at me with a worried expression "don't tell me- you actually did catch feelings for her!," He gasped.
"No, I actually I got rid of her for good this time," I mumbled.
"Oh please you've said that before and once she comes in over all the crap you say goes down the drain," Ohira rolled his eyes.
"Well it doesn't concern you guys does it?," I mumbled.
"It kind of does because she gets you in a bad mood, which is why I'm guessing your out here tonight, correct? She was staying at your place again huh?," Semi smirked.
"Shut up."
"Seriously Ushijima there are many beautiful and amazing women out in this world and you want to stick to the one that has a disgusting personality and the first one you've talked to since you got here," Tendo groaned.
"Like I said she's out of my life now, you know the relationship we had was mainly for pleasure and nothing more," I sighed and waved for more drinks.
"Yeah sure until she came to your house after she got in a fight with her mommy and daddy, and you like a total weak bitch let her stay the night," Kawanishi laughed lightly.
"Please," I rolled my eyes.
"The only girl I'm letting sleep over is my friend Calista and her little sister if anything were to happen," Semi smiled brightly.
"Please, I'm the first choice babe," I turn to see the guy that was with the girl in the coffee shop.
"Whatever," Semi growled annoyed.
"Isn't she the one performing?," Tendo smirked.
"Yes sir."
"So if she has a sister can you hook me up?," Kawanishi laughed.
"Sure if your into 15 year old girls," Semi took a drink of his beer as we laughed at Kawanishi's embarrassed face.
"Could've said that earlier," he mumbled.
"Well why try to get at one of my good friends sister," Semi chuckled.
"Maybe cause thats what friends do," Kawanishi sighed.
"No offense bud, but if I'm going to try to get a girl I'd at least have the audacity to ask more questions about her then just think of sex straight away," Tendo mumbled.
"Yeah let's not be like Ushijima here," Ohira laughed as the group began to joke about my privacy.
I look around the bar seeing it was starting to get a bit darker as small lights of each table start to light up. My eyes took my to a large stage 2 tables away from me as I see a figure in the darkness on stage.
"I guess the show is about to start," I mumbled to the boys.
"Yes!," Semi cheered happily as our attention turn to the stage holding an unknown person.
"Ladies and gentlemen may a introduce you to Calista-," a voice boomed from the speakers as trumpets began to play loudly, and a part of the stage lights up showing the band playing.
"Our Princess from next door!," the voice boomed as people clap silently, I look down at my cup.

I felt my heart stop at the very powerful voice that sang, and look up as the lights slowly light up the stage.
"That's my friend! That's Calista," Semi whispered to us.
"Shut the fuck up," Tendo slapped his head lightly.
As the light finally reaches the owner of the voice I felt my cheeks flush at the sight of my mystery girl standing on stage with a dress resembling a blue butterfly as a corset was tightened around her waist.

My hands tightened around my cup as I hear the boys complementing the girl that's been in my head since yesterday.
"Ushijima you alright?," Shirabu asked as he shook my shoulder lightly.
I nod and quickly turn my attention back to my mystery girl as she sang with more passion.

She smiles at the crowd as the lights slowly dim down once again.

The lights completely shut off as the crowd claps loudly as other whistle due to her performance.
"Calista woooooo!!," Semi cheered.
I see her shadow walk off stage and walks to the bar as many people start to surround her.
"Shit let me get in there before it gets more packed," Semi begins to stand up till the boy from the bar points to our table. Calista turns and rolls her eyes as she sees Semi and walks towards us, not giving me any attention what so ever, which surprisingly got me annoyed.
"Finally you made it to a performance," Semi goes in for a side hug as she hugs him back softly, I slam my cup down lightly and turn away.
"Finally," Semi laughed lightly at turns to us before motioning us to greet her.
"These are some of the guys from the team," we bow all together as she looks at us slowly.
It was only for a few seconds but for once in my life I felt powerless. This girl came out from no where and holds so much power with just her stare, I can feel my legs become like jelly and quickly try to gain control of myself. She takes a step towards us and bows greeting herself.
"Calista but you can call me Cal, I'm Semi's buddy from class," she stands up slowly.
"Did I do that right?," she asked Semi.
We all stand up and quickly Tendo gets closer to her "you did it just fine cutie," he flirted.
Together her and I roll our eyes.
"I'm Tendo by the way but you can call me anytime you're having trouble," he grabbed her hand and kisses it.
Calista quickly pulls her hand away and puts it behind her back before wiping it on her dress.
I smirk lightly at her action.
"This is Ushijima the captain of our team," Semi mentions me.
I take a step towards her and hold out my hand.
She slowly but firmly raps her small hand into mine and smirks down at me lightly, in that very moment I almost smiled at her and let my guard down.
"That's why," she laughed lo at me.
"What?," Semi asked her.
"When I went out for a smoke I lost my lighter, asked your cap here, but instead just told me right from wrong," Calista smiled at me "reminds me of a parent."
"Like dad? Or daddy?," Ohira joked.
"Eh both," she laughed and looks down at her phone quickly as it rang "I have to head out now guys but have a good night, my sister just got out of surgery, by Semi see you in class," before she turns away she gave me a small glance and the most smallest but captivating smile.
