2 CHAPTER 2

After a gap of three years serving as the ASP of Hyderabad, a hot-blooded and sincere police officers Akhil and Sakthivel(25.09.1992: Akhil) decides to go to their hometown Chennai in-order to meet Akhil's elder brothers Gopinath(23.04.1989) and Chezhiyan(28.06.1987) also consisting of Akhil's mother Rajalakshmi, sisters-in-law, Kanmani, Sumathi and father Sundarapandian. All are highly-influential peoples in Tirunelveli and Chennai.

Akhil boards on Sabari Express after informing to his family and love interest, Ishika(08.08.1995), with whom he is in love for five years from college days. His mother is very strict and dominant woman and it took an year for Akhil to get convince his mother about his IPS postings and it's also that, Akhil dedicates the success to his friend Sakthi, because it was he who convinced Rajalakshmi regarding Akhil's profession.

This time, Akhil has decided to show Ishika and get married to her with the blessings of his family members. Akhil's elder brothers are business partners and they indulge in Water and Gardening business activities across the areas of Chennai and Hyderabad units, where their business is established.

As Akhil is nearing to Tirupathi, Sakthi said to Akhil, "Akhil. We have to be very careful. Just now, DGP Chandrasekhar sir called me and alerted an issue!"

"What issues, Sakthi?" asked Akhil.

"Some terrorists have been told to be roaming in Chennai and Hyderabad. They have planned to orchestrate bomb blasts in Tamil Nadu." Said Sakthi.

"Oh my god! Is it? Any clues has been got by our police department?" asked Akhil.

"Yes. After finding out the rupee notes consisting of Jinnah's photos near Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, the Central Police force Department investigated it and arrested few people in Kerala. DGP sir asked us to be safe" said Sakthi.

"Sakthi. At any time, those Jihadis may orchestrate bomb blasts near Chennai or other parts of Tamil Nadu. So, our families should be safeguarded. I will speak to Hyderabad DGP and we will get a transfer to Chennai" said Akhil.

"Don't be in a hurry, Akhil. It's not much easier at this situation. Hyderabad DGP sir will not give us a transfer at this time" said Sakthi.

"Ok. Let's think about this after speaking with our family members" said Akhil.

After reaching Chennai Central, Akhil lands to his house where, he is cheered up by his family members and after seeing them, he meets his parents, Rajalakshmi and Sundarapandian.

"My sons. How are you?" asked both of them.

"I am fine, mom" said Akhil and Sakthi.

"Mom. We have to speak with you regarding an issue" said Sakthi.

"What's the issue, Sakthi?" asked Sister-in-law Kanmani.

Rajalakshmi stared at Kanmani and she understands what did she meant! And leaves the place.

Everyone gathers in the meeting of Rajalakshmi and now Akhil says, "Mom. Terrorist attacks are planned to be held in Tamil Nadu. Hence…"

"Hence?" asked Rajalakshmi.

"For some days, you should be safe in your house" said Rajalakshmi.

"That's okay, Akhil. We will all be safe. You have informed, right" said Kanmani.

"If he has held a meeting, it's resembling an important issue. Tell what is it, Akhil?" asked Cheziyan and Rajalakshmi.

"I need a transfer to Chennai, Mom" said Akhil.

"What? You wish to get a transfer for Chennai" said Rajalakshmi and gets furious at Akhil as they considered family's importance replacing the place for duty.

"Mom. The reason for transfer is I need to safeguard our home place Tamil Nadu. Because, already a place is blasted in Hyderabad on 27.12.2019. At-least, I have to prevent the attacks in Tamil Nadu" said Akhil.

Rajalakshmi thinks a while and she agrees to Akhil but on one condition that: "He should prevent the terrorist attacks at-least remembering this transfer and if not, Akhil will be expelled from her house forever." Also she puts a condition that: "No one should be killed or injured in the attacks. Everyone's responsibility is in Akhil's hands"

Akhil agrees with his mother and he gets transferred to Chennai from where, Akhil calls the ministry of Tamil Nadu and with the help of Rajalakshmi, Section 144 is issued all over Tamil Nadu for three months until the Terrorists are found and convicted by the police forces. Since the total lockdown is issued all over Tamil Nadu various business officials and people raises voice against the police force but, they doesn't mind these things, since their main motive is to catch the criminals behind this.

During the period of lockdown, Ishika is taken to Rajalakshmi's house, where she is introduced to everyone and she blesses her to get married to Akhil and live happily forever. Akhil is happier to introduce Ishika to his mother and family.

However, Ishika is angry with Akhil. She herself, being an investigative journalist and she questions Akhil personally for his motive but, Akhil avoids her question. Besides all of these efforts and all successful efforts, a blast occurs in Kanchipuram Market area, where Ishika (who has gone to buy some food products for cooking purpose), gets injured in the blast while rest of the people were somehow saved and rescued by Akhil without any injuries, as per his mother's order.

Akhil sees Ishika struggling for her survival and he takes her in his car to the hospitals.

"Akhil. Will I survive?" asked Ishika.

"Ishika. Nothing will happen to you. I am there with you" said Akhil and he manages to take her to the hospital.

"Doctor…Doctor…" called Akhil.

After checking her, they takes to the Operation Theatre, ICU and Rajalakshmi's family learns about the injury of Ishika through Sakthi and they rush to Akhil's hospital.

Rajalakshmi sees Akhil crying down and she goes near to him and says, "You are the son of Rajalakshmi. Never ever you should cry, Akhil. Fight even when you afford to lose your beloved ones. Never ever you should give up your spirit. It's equal to damaging me. Remember it!"

Akhil is bold-enough and everyone tells him that, Ishika will survive.

The doctors come and Akhil asks, "Doctor. Has Ishika survived?"

"Sorry ACP sir. Due to the heavy blood loss, we are unable to save Ishika. She is dead" said the doctor.

Akhil breaks down and Rajalakshmi asks the doctor, "Doctor. Is she really dead? Are you lying? Akhil. Don't cry da. He is telling it simply. Don't cry" said Rajalakshmi in tears, and she herself starts to break down and on seeing this, Akhil, Sakthi, and other family members come to console her.

Due to the shock, Rajalakshmi suffers a heart attack and she is hospitalized. Akhil decides to investigate the case vigorously until which, he will never return to his house. Rajalakshmi's younger brother, Radha Krishnan(25.05.1967), a successful and highly-respected Cardiologist, learns about the illness of Rajalakshmi and he decides to re-unite with Rajalakshmi after a long gap of a feud for 25 years.

RK's family consists of his wife, Ramalakshmi, elder daughter Vidhya(26.10.1988), 2nd daughter, Nisha(29.09.1995) and the last daughter, Varshini. (30.01.1998) Vidhya is successfully married to an Army man named Shankar, who will come once in a year to their family and she has a daughter. She is working as a neurologist in KMCH hospitals in Chennai. Nisha is a care-free girl who, is very talkative and a loving daughter for RK. She is always criticized by Vidhya, for being so irresponsible and is worried about the behavior of Nisha.

"Dad. I have an idea for Nisha" said Vidhya.

"Yes. Tell me dear" said RK.

"Shall we get Nisha married to Akhil, our Aunt Rajalakshmi's last son?" asked Vidhya.

"That's a great idea, Vidhya. At-least when she is married to Akhil, she will become responsible." Said RK.

"Dad. Let this be unknown to both Akhil and Nisha" said Vidhya.

"Why, Vidhya?" asked RK.

"Nisha-Akhil are loggerheads with each other since childhood. Hence, they shouldn't know their marriage. At first, let us inform to Rajalakshmi aunty" said Vidhya.

"But, Will my sister agree to Akhil's marriage hand? Since, I heard that Akhil is loving some other girl and she had died in a bomb blast" said RK.

"Yes dad. Hence, to relieve Akhil from the girl's death, I request you to get him married to Nisha or-else, you say to Aunt that, it's a way for us to get reunited by Akhil's hand to Nisha" said Vidhya.

"Oh! That's a great idea, my dear" said RK.

They goes to meet Rajalakshmi in the hospital where, he settles his disputes with Rajalakshmi's family members. RK meets Sundarapandian and speaks with him.

"Brother-in-law. Where is my sister? How is she now?" asked RK.

"She is serious, RK. We are helpless. I think she will leave me" cried Sundarapandian.

"Nothing will happen, brother-in-law. My sister will come back again. I believe in it" said RK emotionally.

"Ah! Where is my Akhil?" asked RK.

"RK. He is upset with Ishika's death. Hence, he and Sakthi has gone to investigate the bomb blasts. He asked us to stay away for some days until he finishes his investigation" said Sundarapandian.

"What is this, brother-in-law? Rather than his mother, investigation became important for Akhil!" said a tensed RK.

After some times, RK cools down and said to Sundarapandian, "Anything happens in our life, we have to move forward in our life. We should never stop. Hence, I have an idea to change Akhil's mind"

After Pandian asks, "What?" RK replies, "Let us get Nisha married to Akhil, brother-in-law. It's not for the welfare of my daughter, but for the sake of Akhil's happiness," said RK.

Soundarapandian feels happier and he happily accepts. After Rajalakshmi recovers, she hears this and agrees to RK also, promising him that Akhil will agree to the marriage.

In-fact, Nisha is also in love with Akhil and she has settled her anger with Akhil, after noticing his immense love for Ishika. Meanwhile, Akhil and Sakthi are in a fast-paced investigation process and they have red-handedly caught some terrorists involving, Abdullah, Qasim, Ghazni and Ibrahim, who were hiding in the islands of Kanniyakumari.

It took nearly a month's to trace them all in the islands, as they found it challenging to cross the dense cover of the islands and so many poisonous animals were also present in their places. They had illegally entered into Kanniyakumari and through some friend's help met Vikram, a leading and powerful business magnate in Chennai. Since, he wants to escape from the 4G scam that he indulged in, he requested his friend, Umar Zafar, a Pakistani-settled man and terrorist executing his attacks from Islamabad.

For Umar Zafar, Vikram is not only a friend, but he is also a brother for him. They decide to orchestrate terrorist attacks all over Tamil Nadu so that, Vikram will escape from any punishments. All in-further, Umar, through WHI(We Hate India) plan, decides to destroy whole India through Iran chemical weapons, which he got through the terrorists in Iran.

During November 15, 2020, he have planned to orchestrate various attacks in India's all 28 states, especially the pilgrimages, Temples and tourist places in India. This information are told by Akhil and Sakthi in the Supreme courts of Delhi and they gets an encounter order for Vikram and kill him so that, Umar Zafar may arrive to India, where he and Sakthi will kill them.

Vikram is brutally killed by Akhil's group-men, Irfan and in the process, Umar Zafar learns this through his henchman in Islamabad. Angered, Umar decides to land in India.

"Brother. We should not go at this time. Anytime we will get caught" said Ismail, Umar's henchman. (In Urdu language) (They communicate their conversations in Urdu language)

"Ismail. We have to land in India at any cost. For me, the first target is Sakthi, Irfan(Sakthi's close friend and the one who killed Vikram)" said Umar.

"Brother. Irfan is a Muslim. Should we kill him?" asked Ismail.

"Being a Muslim means, it's not meant that I will spare the one who supports India" said Umar.

"Brother. I will make arrangements for you to land in India" said Ismail and as planned, Umar lands in India.

Umar first, kills Irfan and calls Akhil.

"ACP Akhil here. Who is this?" asked Akhil.

"ACP Akhil. You have done a big mistake by killing Vikram. Your teammate Irfan is henceforth, killed by me. Hence, go and collect his body" said Umar.

Umar then, further tells Akhil that on November 15th, as per his plans, he had made the terrorists come for India to orchestrate the bomb blasts. On learning this, the Indian Government tightens the security in all over India. Akhil now, motivates the Indian people to be bold and faithful to god and asks them to follow the rules of the government until he, captures the terrorists all over India.

Now, with all state police officers adjoining with Akhil and Sakthi, they had started to dismantle the bombs in all over the states with the help of Bomb-surging squads. However, some places were not able to be saved by Akhil and his state teams. A very few people got killed.

Further, Umar and his associates see the unity of Muslim-Hindus-Christians communities and hence, they all commits suicide by killing themselves by orchestrating a fire in their house. Aftermath of this war, Akhil and Sakthi goes to meet Rajalakshmi and his two re-united families, where Rajalakshmi is slowly recovering and he apologizes to all for his rude behavior.

Akhil learns that, he is going to get married to Nisha and he happily agrees to it, for the sake of his mother and family. Their marriage takes place and five years later, a place named Middle street is shown in the places, where Rajalakshmi family had come and they are lighting candles for Ishika's photo since, this is the day, where so many people of Tamil Nadu have lost their loved ones.

 All stands in silence and prays.

"Not only for the families of Rajalakshmi, but it's common for all the humans who are victims of bomb blasts and the cycle of caste riots in all over India. Thousands of people in India are losing their lives just because of one tragic incident that follows in the country. Until and unless, when our people are not united and well-accomplished with proper education, our country will pay for more and more violence…" In the book named, "Investigation and My journey in 2020", Akhil mentions these words which, he shows to his family members and daughter, Ishika(he named his daughter in remembrance of Ishika).
