3 Open secret
"Lily Yan, congratulations you're the team captain" the principal called out and a round of applause was heard from everybody present in the class.
"Lucas sheng, Song Yi.... "
Name calling was over and it was time to for their lunch break.
"your hair looks extra shiny today" a way too familiar voice whispered behind her
"hey potatoes" a huge grin formed on her face as Lily turned around and hugged her little sister
"shhhh... nobody must know you call me that" Yan Shuya said softly to her sister looking around
"bleh! why didn't you wait for me this morning?"
"I can't miss classes and you know it, I'm not a smart ass like you are and you know it" Shuya said rolling her eyes
"Get a boyfriend then, it'll ease up your uptight life a little" Lily shrug hitting her lightly
"just because I love reading my books that doesn't mean my life revolves around books, I'll get a boyfriend when I want to" she huffed and stomp her feet but Lily wasn't having any of it, she just loves teasing her sister just for the fun of it and to see her eyes go wide 'ahh so cute' she thought in her head.
"you're a nerd who can't get a boyfriend, you'll probably finish college and get married to one of dad's business partners son after one blind date" Lily teased and watched as her sisters eyes changed emostions and out of all those she found one fishy.
'it's probably because I think too much how can she look at me like she has a deep grudge she's holding against me' Lily thought to herself, maybe it's time to let go of this whole joke thingy.
"I was just joking sis, don't take it seriously okay?"
"it's fine, I'm fine you always bully me" Shuya replied with a pout
"I can only bully you, no other person can, not even that prostitute in the house can, cos you know what?"
"what?"
"I'll always protect you" Lily said tapping on her chest lightly imitating a gorilla
Shuya's heart clenched when she heard Lily call Lu Ying a prostitute but she had to take it in and act normally for the sake to keeping everything intact.
"I heard Country A's high school competition is coming up" Shuya said with her mouth full
"guess who's the team leader??" Lily asked with bubbly eyes
"you?'
"yes! me!!" Lily replied joyfully
"dad will be so proud, but I can't look this joyful in front of him" once she said that her mood dampened
Shuya sneered in her heart and gave Lily a comforting hug
"Don't worry" she said patting Lily's back
"everything will be just fine" she encouraged
"Hey baddie" Lucas called out winking at Lily
"come close to me and I promise I won't punch you in the face" Lily said with a smile
"hey Lucas" Shuya waved from behind Lily
"oh hey" he greeted back and sat next to Lily
can you see through all these eye makeup around your eyes??" he asked touching her lashes
"obviously I can and get your hands off my face would you!" Lily said and glared at him
raising his both hands he replied "yes ma'am" smiling
"uhm Lucas"
Lucas raised his head to see Shuya smiling softly at him and for some reasons her didn't like it
"yes?"
"won't you get your lunch, I can help you go get yours" she offered
"no thank you, I stilled need to piss my baddie off" he said and turned to look at Lily who glared at him again and returned to eating her food
"Give that back!"
"I don't want to" he smirked
"give it back while I'm still being nice"she warned
Almost all the students loved these two, everybody believe they're a couple but are being low key about kissing and smooching in public.
Lucas on one hand only talks to Lily and for some reasons no one can approach him, only the stare he gives to people is enough for them to back off and surprisingly he's not part of any school club yet he's more famous than the previous most popular boy in school who is still the basketball captain.
Now Lily on the other hand only talks to her sister and her best/boyfriend Lucas. She gets into a lot of troubles and end up dragging Lucas into it cos he's almost always with her.
those two seem inseparable and has a really strong bond and it's an open secret that Shuya has a crush on Lucas but Damn!... who wouldn't?
He's tall, has this.manly touch of handsomeness unlike the rest guys in school that looks all boyish and cute and he has all shade of good characters.

Walking to the gate after the school closing Bell was heard, Lily, Lucas and Shuya walked side by side down to the gate. Shuya kept trying to walk between them and Lucas was always trying to get to the other side of Lily but Shuya wasn't having any of it.
"will you two walk straight and stop fucking twisting around me!" Lily snapped at them
Lucas took the opportunity to hold her hands and pull her away from the road to his side, keeping her between him and Shuya .
A black tinted luxerious car parked beside them and the window was rolled down and revealed a mean looking man.
"Girls" he called out
rolling her eyes Lily said "I'm not a girl and I've always told you never to act like you know me"
"come-on let's go, Bye Lucas " batting her eyes at Lucas Shuya dragged Lily into the car
"Bye baddie, remember I'm coming over tonight" Lucas winked and waved at Lily ignoring her sister
"hmm.. alright" she replied and closed the door
"your Dad has traveled, the house will be uncomfortable for you Lily"
the driver said with a smirked looking at her through reverse mirror in the car
