7 7. Hug

The tree in the garden covered his body. His eyes stared sadly at a girl who was sitting languidly. The girl was crying while looking up at the sky.

"Why can't I close my eyes when it's about you, Adeeva?" he thought.

The girl named Adeeva Afsheen Maheesa has recently stolen his attention. The girl looks cheerful and strong but keeps a million mysteries from her eyes. There was no happy glint in that beautiful bead. No honesty comes out of his lips.

"Hypocritical." he thought again.

Adeeva's tears suddenly subsided and were replaced with a bright smile. Seeing that, instead of feeling happy, her heartfelt sick. A smile that holds a million sorrows must be etched on his lips every time.

The man groaned in pain as he felt his head hit by a pebble.

"Hey, Yudis! What are you doing spying on people?" Bastian whispered.

Yudistira turned to find Bastian and Zion far behind him. It seems he always fails when he becomes a stalker.

In the past, when Yudis tried to find out about Ceyza, he was caught red-handed because he liked all of Ceyza's photos on Instagram. Stupidly, Yudis didn't realize that he liked the photos.

His habit of scrolling through Instagram while clicking likes on all photos carried over to his stalking activities. And that makes Yudis unable to escape from Ceyza. The woman thought that Yudis liked her until finally Yudis was shot that day. Want to refuse? Seeing a girl with a childish and cute nature made Yudis not have the heart to hurt her.

"Here you are!" Zion asked.

Yudistira finally approached his two friends who were doing crossword puzzles on the back porch.

"Don't bother!" annoyed Yudistira.

Bastian and Zion laughed together.

"You're watching that girl too much anyways," Zion said.

"What crazy, behind a tree? Hahahaha." Bastian said ending with a mocking laugh.

"Is it wrong if it's on a tree? That's good, I can't be seen." Yudistira tried to defend himself.

Bastian took a deep breath before answering, Zion was already stroking his chest.

"What's the point of hiding behind a rose tree, you idiot?"

Adeeva decided to sleep on the sofa in front of the television. Her tiny body was already curled up comfortably there. At first, she intended to just watch TV while lying down, but his eyes didn't lie. After all, she had just cried. Finally, Adeeva who felt sleepy began to fall asleep.

Bastian, Zion, and Yudhisthira who saw the girl sleeping felt quite relieved. They finally decided to sleep too after playing games in the dining room which is located not far from where Adeeva sleeps.

While the three were playing a game, they suddenly heard something strange. Like a woman's cry.

"Wow why do I get goosebumps?" said Bastian as he nudged Zion's arm.

Yudistira, who was focused on the game, finally tried to distract him and listened too.

"Yes, is there a ghost in this house?" Zion asked.

Yudistira sharpened his hearing. He seemed to recognize this voice.

"Not a ghost, but Adeeva," he said. Bastian and Zion met face to face and as usual communicated mentally.

"It's not because I'm watching him all the time, but yesterday I found him when he was crying on the side of the road." Yudistira said making both of them say 'oh' at the same time.

"But come to think of it, you've been too focused on him lately," Zion replied.

Silence hit the three. They thought that the crying was because Adeeva was crying. But not. His voice sounded painful and seemed like an incoherent delirious.

They finally decided to approach the girl. He met Adeeva crying while delirious in a fast asleep state.

"It's such a bad dream," Zion said.

Yudistira and Bastian nodded simultaneously.

"Don't leave Devaa... Pls don't go..." Adeeva raved.

"What should we do?" Bastian asked.

Yudistira and Zion shook their heads together.

"Shall we wake you up?" asked Yudistira.

Now, Bastian and Zion shrugged their shoulders in unison. Look how compact the three of them are. Compact in terms of unimportant and useless.

After thinking for a while and seeing Adeeva's deteriorating condition, they finally decided to wake the girl up.

Starting from Zion who tried to gently pat his cheek.

"Adeeva... Wake up! You have a bad dream." he said slowly.

It was Bastian's turn to try to shake the girl's shoulder, hoping that she would wake up immediately.

"Wake up girl...." said Bastian. However, the girl still babbled while crying.

Finally, the last attempt was made by Yudistira. He pulled the girl to a sitting position. Although it seems cruel, it works. Adeeva opens her eyes and is shocked. Her chest heaved up and down and cold sweat dripped down his body.

Her heart ached and he looked very scared. Adeeva stared at Yudistira for a moment. Yudistira could not stand to see the girl cry. Adeeva looks very weak.

Finally, Yudistira pulled the girl into his arms hoping that Adeeva would be healed a little.
