11 11. Perfume

The girl's pupils dilated, she was surprised to hear that her parents were in prison. She slept for five years and left both of them in prison, Adeeva felt guilty. Seeing Adeeva's watery eyes, Adenia felt guilty. She approached the girl and hugged her warmly. She had expected it, no matter how much Adeeva hated her parents, but deep in her heart, she had a love for them.

Five years is not a short time. Many things have changed in that long period, especially Yudistira.

"Why are they in prison, Ma'am?" asked Adeeva.

Adenia looked confused to answer it, but she also couldn't hide it any longer.

"It was your father who ordered people to hit you at that time, he wanted you to die. They were subject to multiple articles because of violence against children as well," Adenia replied.

Adeeva's chest tightened for a moment. Did they hate her so much that they wanted to kill him? The girl closed her eyes trying to contain the anger that welled up. She took a deep breath trying not to explode right then and there. Her head throbbed with anger, her body stiffened from her stiff muscles.

"Am I that bad Ma'am that they want to kill me?" asked Adeeva with teary eyes.

Adenia shook her head quickly, this very independent and tough girl is the dream of all parents. Adenia even felt rivaled by Adeeva's presence, she felt less mature than the girl who was holding her tightly.

"You are a good child, you are a good child. It's just that you are not lucky to be born of parents like them," Adenia gently stroked Adeeva's back to calm the girl.

"I'm not a killer Ma'am, why do they hate me and call me a murderer?" Adeeva whispered.

Adenia is well aware of this. She's the only person in charge of the trial of this case. The police have investigated Fagan's accident which was declared an accident without any elements.

"Yes, I believe you..." Adenia replied.

Adeenia looked at Adeeva's frail body which was getting more and more caring. She was extremely happy and grateful that the strong girl in front of him endured such difficult conditions for five years. I don't know how many times the doctor told her to give up on the situation, but Adenia always believed that one day Adeeva would wake up. She believed that Adeeva would be able to live it even though she had to go through many complicated things. I don't know how many times Adeeva almost died, but God loves that girl.

Adenia's daydream was broken because the sound of her cell phone echoed throughout the room, coincidentally the ringer volume of her cellphone was full because she had just come home from work. By the way, Adenia now working as a fashion entrepreneur who is quite famous. The flower shop is just a hobby.

Adenia released Adeeva from her arms and took her cell phone. There was written Yudistira's name with a sign of love at the end. Adeeva saw this, she was quite excited just by seeing that name.

"Ma'am, pick up the phone outside, okay?" said Ms. Adenia.

"Why not here? I also want to talk to Yudistira," Adeeva replied, not allowing it.

"Not yet, Adeeva." Adenia just left Adeeva without the slightest explanation. This made Adeeva very angry, she hated herself for getting up late so she didn't know the conditions around her. She always like this, hating and blaming herself.

A young man at the age of 23 was sitting in his oversized chair. He just got the award as the youngest CEO in Indonesia. His achievements in the property world have succeeded in attracting foreign investors and developing the company. Apart from the achievements he got, of course, his popularity increased dramatically which managed to make women compete to make the young man fall in love.

The Adyatama clan that he brought with him succeeded in raising his family name. The young man with a handsome and generous face has become a trending topic among other business people lately.

"Yudistira!" someone called his name making the young man look up. He saw a 28-year-old woman approaching him with an annoyed look, it was Adenia, his sister.

"I told you not to go to the club and play with your paid women, you have to keep going to college, it's stupid!" Adenia grumbled. She had almost run out of patience with Yudistira.

Yudistira just looked at his brother with an innocent face, even Yudistira just passed his brother and teased his secretary.

"Hi my dear, where should I go today?" Yudistira teased.

The secretary by the name of Anne couldn't hide her smile. Her cheeks turned red just because of Yudhisthira's temptation, even though it was not serious.

"Five minutes you have to go to the hospital to see someone, Sir," replied Anne who was still trying not to be lulled by Yudistira.

She does not want to violate her work contract, because in article number 5 of the employment contract if she loves Yudistira then she must leave this company. This contract does not only apply to Anne, but to all women who have been or will be Yudistira's secretary. This contract was made by Adenia herself, and Yudistira couldn't help but obey.

"Sister, you hear that, right? I'm very busy, then bye ..." Yudistira's broad back disappeared behind the door of his study.

Adeeva walked slowly with a sweet smile on her lips. The girl was training her legs which had gone numb after five years of not being moved. Although a little difficult, the struggle is not in vain. The desire to be free and to meet Yudistira was stronger than this incomparable pain.

Now and then her smile faded to be replaced by a streak of pain on his forehead when the leg was painfully moved. But Adeeva is not a girl who gives up easily, she always gets up and tries until finally, Adeeva can walk normally in the corridors of this hospital.

"Doctor Daniel!" Adeeva shouted when her eyes caught the doctor who had treated Adeeva for the past five years. Even though Doctor Daniel had completely given up on Adeeva's condition his estimation was wrong. Adeeva wakes up without the slightest flaw in herself.

"Wow, you can walk already?" Doctor Daniel looked amazed at the girl who was 10 years younger than him.

"Look, I can even run!" Adeeva replied confidently. The girl took a deep breath and tried to run. She screamed with joy when she managed to jog in front of Doctor Daniel.

"Wow! You're so amazing! Show me how fast you run, should we race to the end of the corridor?" The doctor with black hair and a typical Caucasian face challenged Adeeva. The girl of course accepted the challenge without thinking.

"Let's go!"

The two started to get into position to run, after counting to three Adeeva and Doctor Daniel ran together. Doctor Daniel of course slowed down his run to please Adeeva. While Adeeva had been running vigorously until suddenly her legs felt cramped and...

Brak!!

Adeeva fell and hit someone in front of her. She could feel his body on top of a man clad in a gray formal suit.

"Definitely boss," Adeeva mumbled while patting her forehead. The girl grimaced and immediately tried to stand up. But when she had managed to stand up straight, her nose caught a very thick scent in his memory. That's Yudistira's perfume.

Adeeva looked up, and sure enough in front of her was Yudistira who was smiling looking at her.
