Inverse Miracles

Denis Pearson, a 25 year old man, finds himself in serious debt, in the midst of getting evicted, and with no prospects for his future. On the turn of the new year, he wished for a life similar to a villain in the Overturned Trilogy, a fictional trilogy in the novel, someone who's affluent and interesting lifestyle Denis found enviable in comparison to his suffering. Denis wakes up to one of his best friends, Barry, who explains to him that now he has hundreds of millions of dollars, that magic and magical creatures now exists, and he's the leader in a crime syndicate. Can he protect his wealth and newfound power from those who seek to take it?
