#6: Sweet Talk With Crisostomo

Oh my god! My goodness! It's unbelievable! I can't believe it myself. Really? My heart beats out of time! I was jumping on my bed when Ibarra left.

She went out and closed the door. I went to the door to listen to their conversation below. I had to make sure she would say what I said. I stick my ear to the door of Maria Clara's room.

"Marites, where is my daughter?" I heard Captain Tiago's voice.

"It should be!" Captain Tiago no longer waited for Crisostomo to finish his words. He is kinda rude! He also has a bad attitude. I thought that he like Crisostomo and he respects him. After that no one tried to speak.

In the real story of Noli Me Tangere, you wouldn't think that Captain Tiago is scary when he is angry because he is a kind father to Maria Clara.

Maybe I just annoyed him so much that he became like this. You know people, their patience has limits. Even if it's just a fictional character.

"Oh! my dearest young lady is here," Crisostomo said sweetly. The madman hugged me from behind. He hugged me from my back. "I thought you went out."

"Where else am I going Cris?" I am in our garden. Wow, so rich! They have a large garden!
