6 Chapter 6: Ancient Museum

Looking at the twenty-odd pieces of wheat in his hand, Senju was very happy for a moment, only to be swiftly reminded that they were currently of no practical use.

There was no way to make bread without a workbench, compelling him to stow the wheat away hurriedly for future use..

After looking at the wheat for a while, he left a mark outside according to yesterday's arrangement. After returning to the house and turning on the electric stove, he rolled up a quilt and looked at the photos in the camera.

(T/L: If some of you are confused as to why I didn't change 'electric stove' to 'furnace'. It's simply because... it's an electric stove, the OG furnace of Minecraft requires wood/coal and anything that is considered "consumable" for it to work. From here, Senju only needs a pressure plate/ a lever for it to 'power up'.)

The camera contains numerous stored photos, suggesting it has changed owners multiple time, with the subjects within frequently shifting.

Despite this, the backdrop consistently portrays a beautiful and opulent environment, with everyone immaculately dressed and surrounded by bustling crowds. It stands in stark contrast to the current desolate world.

Amidst the stillness, several videos also emerged, which Senju watched attentively, gradually unraveling the mysteries behind the world's current state.

Although he doesn't know the reason, he thought; maybe it was food, maybe power, or other reasons, in short, a war broke out in this world full of high technology.

High-tech wars are extremely efficient in massacres. One war consumes hundreds of millions of people.

With war, The world continues to expand, various banned weapons have appeared one by one, and all life on the planet has disappeared.

Although Senju doesn't know how long this war has passed, he can only tell from the abandoned tanks and fighter planes that it has been a long time.

But now it seems that there is no winner on the entire planet, not even the humans who dominate the entire planet.

He doesn't know if there are any human left , and Senju had only seen animals in the photos, he hasn't found any animal anywhere else.

Thinking about the city he was in now. It was probably built by people before the war. It is great that it has not been destroyed by nuclear bombs.

But thinking about the current miserable situation, maybe they have stronger and faster weapons.

As he was lost in his thoughts, Senju gradually fell asleep. In his dream, he had returned to his home again.

Although it was very ordinary, there were mountains and trees around him, animals and humans, the sun and peace. He also shed tears for this beautiful hometown.

Dreams will innevitably end.Upon waking, Senju observed that the surroundings remained unchanged from his slumber.

Surveying the room, he recollected having sealed it entirely, preventing any external light from entering.

Shaking his slightly groggy head, it dawned on him that he must have had a pleasant dream last night. With nothing amusing in the house, Senju opted to venture outside for a leisurely stroll.

After playing with the camera for a while, he learned how to take pictures. The first picture was dedicated to his lovely wheat seedlings.

After closing the door, Senju rode a car around the city. Maybe it was a psychological problem.

On the map, the place where he stayed last night was marked as home, but this was good, lest he could not find his way back in the end.

Sitting in the car, Senju took pictures of the strange objects around him. Statues with funny faces often appeared in the city.

'Although I don't know who built them, this scenery is very funny', he thought with a smile, but suddenly became slightly sad. Things are there, but humans have disappeared...

Slowly, Senju came to a special building. This was not a completely similar high-rise building, but a strange building, like an exhibition hall.

There were many sculptures placed outside. Senju got out of the car and went to 'knock' on it. After 'knocking', he found that these were not made of steel.

(T/L: I don't know what 'knocking' '/'knock' means here, I'm assuming he means like 'punching' it or using a pickaxe)

After looking carefully, he discovered that they were all stone carvings. Perhaps these individuals were once highly esteemed, but in the eyes of Senju, these stones held more significance than the people themselves.

But before he started demolishing, he captured a photograph of them, then proceeded to remove the carvings. Striking the statue with a steel pickaxe, the towering figure soon disintegrated into stone blocks.

With excitement, Senju collected these stone blocks, and there were actually a few round stones around him.

Senju became happy looking at the group of statues around him, and then started working on the second one, but this one was diorite.

Next came the granite. Finally, Senju's steel pickaxe did no harm to the statue. If you look closely, the dark patch could be obsidian?

(T/L: Nice, one step closer to making the

Nether Portal)

Seeing that there was no harvest outside, Senju walked into the building. The place was not damaged and remained the same. After Senju entered, he discovered that this seemed to be a museum. Looking at the items inside, Senju decided to take a look first.

He is the only one here to carry out the work, and the camera in his hand is constantly preserving the memories of these rare items. There are many specimens here, starting with fossils of ancient animals, then specimens of exotic animals, and then ordinary animal specimens, including insects and mice in the end.

There are many creations of human civilization here, including ancient stone carvings, precious wood carvings, twisted steel carvings, and various artworks parked in exhibition stands. Finally, there is a shining golden treasure, but no one cares about it now...

There are many plants on the other side. These trees may have been specially treated, or they may be made of plastic and still maintained their green appearance. Senju recorded these rare scenery one by one.

After viewing these exhibits, Senju started working with a steel axe in hand. The first target should be the trees. After smashing the glass blocking the way, he came close to the leaves. But something seems wrong here.

Smelling the strange smell, Senju knocked on the tree trunk and found that the sound that came out did not sound like wood.

But at this point, he decided to destroy all these leaves. He first knocked off the leaves one by one. However, no apples or saplings fell out. Each leaf had been broken into pieces. Suddenly, in front of Qianju's eyes, A white sapling appeared.

He put it away nervously. After identification, he discovered that it was a birch sapling. Then he found a spruce sapling. However, after crushing all the leaves, no other sapling appeared. After careful inspection, Only when he got down from the two trees that had fallen saplings did he realize that they were real trees. Senju turned the two majestic trees...into wooden blocks with a swing of the axe.

After stepping on the ground under his feet, he found that it was real soil. He took out a birch sapling and planted it. Looking at the small sapling, Qianju began to use bone meal to ripen it. Soon, a square birch tree appeared. Appeared there, and since then, the trees on this planet have evolved into square shapes.

(T/L: lol)

After harvesting the tree, Senju got three more saplings. Although three bone meal were needed to ripen each time, he still had more than twenty on hand.

After ripening these three, Senju got three more saplings. There are already more than twenty wooden blocks, and eight seedlings.

After planting two of them here, Senju also placed a water source in the middle of the tree.

These can be regarded as compensation for the price here, although no one had seen or knew what he had done.
