15 Strong Prey on the Weak

Nile did not feel bad after killing the two zombies from before. Because from his perspective, 'I'm not killing people, 'I'm only killing the Apocalypse Virus that was manipulating the people. Killing them was also akin to saving them from the Apocalypse Virus's grasp.'

With this kind of mindset, he can continue killing these zombies without any form of guilt birthing inside him. Besides, even if he would really feel some sort of guilt, he would probably just brush it off while thinking that it was a necessary step for him to survive.

Right, Nile is selfish. Besides, during this Apocalyptic world, does killing really matter? During this Apocalyptic world, will there still be laws to catch and punish those who have committed crimes?

The answer to that is a big 'NO'. Nile is not foreign to this kind of happenings during an Apocalypse, well he did read some novels about Apocalypse from his previous life after all. And one thing in common in those novels are the people's ways and schemes.

After experiencing the Apocalypse, chaos will be birthed. The human race's hidden desire will surface one by one. Especially on those Apocalypse World novels that have some sort of powers and Mutations like the one that he is on right now.

The old law will be abolished and new laws will be spread. These kinds of laws are quite common in those Apocalypse Novels that he read.

"The strong prey on the weak. The strong will survive and the weak will perish"

Of course, Nile will not entirely believe in it. The Pangea continent is different. It was run by only one government so he expected that there will be some sort of order when the situation stabilizes.

Nile will not let these feelings like guilt or shame, run over him. He will not think about killing other people. 

The zombies or the Apocalypse Virus inside the zombies head is his primary target. But, if he could not really avoid it, and some people harbour harm towards him. He will not hesitate to kill them directly. What? He struggles to kill the zombies to get stronger and then these people will come and harm or might kill him just like that? Is his life a joke that he cannot retaliate?

Right now, the only thing that is on his mind is to get strong and survive.

But with his System. Does Nile still need to worry about these things?

Of course not, he will not have to worry. But Nile also needs to do his part, he just can't spend the rest of his life sleeping now that he has a System, right?

The three remaining zombies were still at a certain distance from each other. This time, Nile did not do the sneaking and chopping tactic and instead went directly towards the closest zombienearhim.

This closest zombie was the one who was standing still in the middle of the road earlier. Although this zombie was on the verge of finishing its hibernation , Nile is not afraid of it, and he will not wait for this zombie to finish its hibernation either.

In the previous battle, even with his normal human strength, he could still kill those two zombies in a few seconds. He attributed this to the fact that the zombies are slow and are only acting based on instinct.

Now that his strength was augmented, he is confident that he could take these three zombies head on.

However, Nile did not want to be arrogant and still decided to act on caution, he still decided to kill them one by one. 

If ever the other zombies were alerted while he was killing the other one, he doesn't have a problem killing them at the same time, just like what had happened earlier.

With his strength now at 1.4, he swung the butcher knife sideward to the zombies head forcefully. The butcher knife's edge hit the area of the zombie's head, near the upper part of the ear.

This time, without the help of the weight of the butcher knife and gravity, he directly killed the hibernating Apocalypse Virus inside its head as the butcher knife's sharp edge was etched deeply on the zombie's head.

After killing the zombie with one strike, Nile inspected his surroundings and  noted that the other zombie did not seem to be alerted.

He then dips his forefinger on the zombie's head, an action that he no longer felt disgusted with and instead, he felt excited instead.

Because of the tingling sensation that he can feel after, that is.

With that, the tingling sensation that he liked, appeared again.

The sensation of getting stronger, 

'Arrgh. I like it!  A satisfied grunt escaped his mouth as he basked on the feelings getting stronger.

Nile was even looking for more tingling sensations to come.

After the tingling sensation disappears, Nile approaches the nearest of the two remaining zombies around him.

He repeated his action and he also killed these two zombies directly. He could also now dip his finger inside the zombies head expertly.

His finger was not interrupted and slid through towards the center of the zombie's head allowing the System to collect the dead Apocalypse Virus inside it.

Now, all the remaining zombies are killed and he is now stronger than ever before.
