Chapter 1Chapter 1

A loud bang woke me up. As I started to heavily pant, all I could think of was just happened. I just developed, or perhaps, inherited memories from a boy of 16 years old, a disgraced prince, declared a traitor to the empire, and exiled. All he, or perhaps I had now, was a earring, that had space of perhaps a room, that was filled with all the savings of his mother and his own. Thankfully enough to spend his life silently outside the empire. But somehow, he had fallen unconscious on the road, probably due to heatstroke, where he possibly passed away. Entry, me.

However what was strange was not all of this, which acceptably was a lot, but not as much as this: my name was Adoneous Varvardos. I was not granted a royal name, but inherited my mother's maiden name, who was the last of a fallen noble house. And the empire was named the Gremaria, the same as the third continent. However, that was not what was weird. What was weird was the fact that these names were suspiciously like the book that was just started to be written, then dropped, namely "Race to kill the Demon God".

I immediately needed to verify my claims. The easiest way was to verify the existence of the system. In place of my voice, a smooth silky voice came out.

"System?"

As I stared at the translucent screen in front of me, that proved that I had currently transmigrated and was a side character, who was briefly mentioned once by the sword instructor of the palace to the Hero, as a 'scumbag unworthy of the grace and light of the royal bloodline.' Well, now I understood that it was because of my element, which was frowned upon by the royal family, and I certainly was off to a great start.

After nearly an hour of walking with my mind completely blank I could see the outline of a town on the horizon. Just in time also, as the sun was currently retreating towards the horizon. Soon, I came to the stone wall of the town where two guards were stationed. Drawing my cloak further up my head to hide my face, even though hardly anyone was likely to recognise me, I went to the gate.

"Stop! Your identity?"

"A travelling mercenary, attempting to make a living." That should suffice as an answer. Hopefully they wouldn't ask for some form of Identity proof.

"Your ID?"

Goddammit. Withdrawing two gold coins from my earring, I held it out to them.

"Look fellas, I have walked a long way, and am very tired. Here is a sign of my friendship. Could you please let me go a bit sooner?"

A hint of uncertainty passed on the guard's faces. Before they could say anything, I quickly intercepted them.

"You know what? Here is two more. Can you please grant me entry? My back is killing me, if you know what I mean."

Forget them, even I did not know what I meant. But at least their smiling faces were a good sign.

"Yes yes, of course. After all, what kind of humans would we be if we did not grant entry to a weary mercenary."

Soon I stood on a busy road, which was well maintained, with shops lined on both sides. Walking along them, I entered the first blacksmith shop I could find.

"Hello? Anybody there?"

A tall man with well built muscles came in from inside a curtained door.

"A customer? Well what do you want?"

"Um, I would like a sturdy sword, a spear and two slim gauntlets."

"Hmmm. That is a wide choice. Well lets see. How much of a mana reception do you want?"

The question caught me off guard.

"I'm sorry. What?"

Sighing, and then whispering something that sounded like 'newbies', the man looked at me.

"We have weapons with mana reception upto 4. What is your desired mana reception."

"Ummm, I suppose 3 would suffice."

Dammit, there was a lot that I still did not know about this world. Why did they not have a common sense class at the palace?

The man hummed and then said,

"About the gauntlets, how slim do you want them to be?"

"Thinnest you can go."

"Okay then. And the sword? What kind?"

I immediately answered the specifics of the weapon I practised with at the palace.

"A long sword. Thin blade, double edged, with pointed tip."

That man went back to the room he came out of after nodding. After some clanking sounds, he came back out with a sheathed long sword, a spear, and two gauntlets.

"Anything else?"

"Yes, do you have some form of a holster for the spear?"

"Yes."

"Right then one of that. What is the total?"

"3 gold and 14 silver."

Pulling out 4 gold coins from my earring, I handed it to him. His eyes immediately widened.

"I don't have that much of change?"

Well, I was officially a spoiled brat with no sense of money.

"Not a problem. Just give me all the silver change you have."

After I fitted myself with the weapons and booking myself into a inn for 3 silvers, I laid onto a bed that was a long cry from the soft one that I slept on in the palace. Well, no use crying over spilled milk. It was time to make plans.

They shattered his life. Now, he’ll break the world. Ethan had it all, until his best friend and the woman he loved betrayed him, leaving him crippled and forgotten. Three years of suffering later, he clawed his way to one final, desperate act… and the universe answered. A hidden quest. A second chance. A return to the moment everything began. Now, Ethan is back, on the eve of Ethereal’s launch, the world’s first fully immersive VR game and the battlefield where legends are forged. Last time, he played fair. This time? He’s armed with years of knowledge: every exploit, every secret quest, every broken mechanic that will let him climb straight to the top. But when he logs in, something is off. The system forces him into an unwanted class—Druid, the game’s biggest joke. The kind of class people pick as a dare and regret immediately. Yet as Ethan digs deeper, the truth shakes him. [Congratulations! You have unlocked the Divine Bloodline: King of Elves!] Ethan stared at the screen, unblinking. “…The hell?” The Druid class was a jack-of-all-trades, master of none—a scattered mess of abilities that mimicked other classes but never truly excelled. Their bear form lacked the raw defense of a proper tank. Their panther form was weaker than a rogue. Their healing fell short of a priest, and their magic couldn’t compare to a mage’s devastating spells. Most players abandoned the class early, realizing they could never compete at the highest level. And yet, Ethan’s stats are off the charts. His talents are absurd. His potential is beyond anything he’s ever seen. The system has given him something no other Druid ever had—a divine bloodline, legendary abilities, and a growth rate that defies logic. If Druids were meant to be weak, then Ethan was the exception that would rewrite history. He’s not just here to reclaim his throne. He’s here to take everything. Factions will rise. Empires will fall. The strongest will thrive, and the weak will perish. And the ones who betrayed him? They won’t live to do it again.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.
