1 Prologue: The Start

"Sir what about the experiment with the subjects? I knew they were going to find us eventually. What if they escape? What if they can survive the explosion," the assistant screamed across the hallway as alarms blared and flashing red lights filled the hallway, while darkness following right behind.

"Just forget about it, we need to get out before they blow this place up" screamed the professor running ahead of everyone.

Just as the professor made it out the building a big ball of fire filled the sky, expanding onto the trees and bushes around the laboratory. Smoke filled the air as the flames scattered around the area at an alarming rate. And not a creature in sight could be seen.

As the burning flames diminished and the smoke slowly vanished everything was covered in despair. Nothing was left; everything was turned to ash but one thing....
