36 Chapter 33- First Match
Sachiko decided to stay at her room in Heavens Arena for the night since she had yet to know the date of her first match and stuff. So, on her way, she ended up calling Killua and Gon to tell them she wasn't coming home until the next day.
When she got to her room, she was welcomed by a luxurious interior design and furniture. Sachiko nodded in approval. She could appreciate the nice perks.
After a long shower, she decided to sit at the lounge area near the big window to enjoy the view for a while.
"It'd be nice if I have a coffee." She muttered. "But I don't want to go all the way to the restaurant areas..."
While Sachiko was debating on whether to go get coffee, the TV screen lit up with an announcement.
It was the announcement of her first match tomorrow.
"Wow, seems like they weren't joking around. I wonder which idiot I'm facing tomorrow." Sachiko wondered.
Then, she sent a message to Killua.
"I'm fighting tomorrow at 3pm. Come watch me and bet 500 million on me."
After all, she couldn't forget to get free money.

The next day,
Sachiko stood on the stage of Heavens Arena as the commentator announced the match. On the other side of the stage, Gido came up, laughing proudly.
After the judge announced the rules, they were to fight.
Sachiko decided not to use nen yet and only reinforce herself in cursed energy. Since people here couldn't see actual cursed energy, Sachiko knew they would all be tricked into thinking she was defenseless.
Seeing Sachiko not having Ten around her and not using any nen, Gido actually believed that she didn't know nen yet.
While laughing, Gido sent out the small spinning tops all over the stage, attacking everything on the way.
Sachiko dodged them all really well with the help of her enhanced reflexes and extra speed that comes from enhancing her body with cursed energy.
Killua, Gon, Wing and Zushi were watching the fight and Zushi couldn't help but say, "Why isn't she using nen at all? Wouldn't it be bad if she get attacked with no defense at all?"
Killua was also having similar thoughts.
"Indeed, it could be bad if she got hit by a few of those spinning tops." Wing commented. "Normally, you would overpower him with your own Hatsu or attack him until he runs out of his aura. Both methods would need large amounts of aura. Even if she doesn't plan on attacking, she'd still need to defend herself from those nen attacks."
"Then..why is she.." Zushi muttered.
"Who knows?" Killua said with a sigh, "She's not quite right in the head. It's pointless to guess all of her actions with logic."
Gon laughed awkwardly at that, "Yeah, Sachiko san just usually does what she wants."
Wing sighed, "I see, I thought she wanted to show you two how she uses nen in a fight and thus, ask you two to come and watch."
Killua looked at Sachiko who was still somehow dodging every spinning tops perfectly and said, "Oh, right, she said she was playing with some idiots on 200th floor. Maybe she meant this."
Gon also perked up, saying, "That's right! I remember her saying that."
"Yeah, she was also pretending to be a non-user while she's in Heavens Arena so maybe this is her plan." Killua said.
"Why would she do that..." Zushi muttered.
"That..explains some things," Wing finally said. If pretending not to be able to use nen was her plan, it would explain the crutches and how he could never tell if she could use nen. That, however, didn't explain how she planned to win this match without nen.
But, they all turned their attention back to the stage and Sachiko was still dodging the spinning tops. She was not approaching Gido or shifting to offense, just playing around the spinning tops. Sometimes, she would wait until last minute to dodge a top to give Gido hope that she would finally get injured by his nen. And, Gido was getting more impatient and anxious each time his hope was crushed.
"Wow, she's really good at dodging those." Gon said.
"She's driving that guy insane." Killua said with a proud cat smirk.
It went on for a while until Gido couldn't take it anymore.
"It doesn't matter if you dodge those tops, you will definitely be hit by these!" Gido yelled as he spinned himself and sent out more spinning tops targetting directly towards her this time.
'Stage 2. Let's give him a little more hope and a scare.' Sachiko thought.
She still dodged the tops but soon, intentionally got hit by a few of them. She was defenseless in nen so it would've dealt a significant damage to her, if she wasn't using cursed energy. But, since she was using her cursed energy, she didn't even feel any pain or damage.
Seeing Sachiko got hit by a few spinning tops, Killua and Gon were a bit worried.
Gido laughed as he thought he could finally give the nen initiation to her.
However, what Sachiko said next made them speechless.
"Huh? They don't even hurt? I don't know why I wasted my effort in dodging them the past few minutes." Sachiko said nonchalantly to add the fuel.
"This is impossible! They are all infused with nen! You should've been suffering significant damage from that!" Gido screamed.
"Nen? What's that?" Sachiko asked as if she had never heard of it, while walking towards Gido without even bothering to dodge any spinning tops now.
Gido was starting to freak out the more she looked unbothered from the spinning tops that were continuously hitting her.
"It gets annoying. These tops. How are they magically spinning themselves?" Sachiko said as she walked towards Gido. She was only a few meters away from him and Gido was freaking out more.
"This doesn't make sense! If you don't know nen, how are you not injured? You aren't even using Ten! This is supposed to be initiaton.." Gido couldn't care anything anymore as Sachiko kept walking towards him.
The judge gave him one point for a clean hit the first time Sachiko got hit by the tops but since Sachiko didn't look bothered or suffer from the spinning tops, Gido wasn't gaining any points.
"Initiation? You meant breaking newcomers with your own nen attacks to share the same fate as you?" Sachiko said with a smile.
"You...you know nen. You know it. You are..."
"That's right, I was playing with you." Sachiko confirmed it with a smile.
"But, you aren't using nen! How are you not getting injured?" Gido refused to believe even when all his instincts were saying him to run. He refused to listen to it. Since he was spinning himself, there was no way she could stop him, right?
"Well, you are so weak I didn't even need to use any of my nen abilities. But, will you be able to rest in peace if I use nen?" Sachiko said with the same smile, making Gido scream more, "You..you sick b*tch...you're not killing me.."
"Oops, sorry, sorry, I meant have a very long sleep." Sachiko said, "Wait, does this still sound wrong? Should I say go peacefully..? pass away? eternal rest?"
Gido screamed even more at that and he span himself even harder. He wouldn't let her catch him. He couldn't take that risk.
"Come on, don't be scared." Sachiko said, she was now in front of Gido.
"Go...go away!" He screamed.
Sachiko smiled, "No." She then used Ren. While she could manage without nen, she wouldn't make herself that suspicious.
Seeing Sachiko's Ren, Gido screamed even harder.
Sachiko focused more aura in her hands and then grabbed the still spinning Gido with her bare hands, stopping his spin. Then, she threw him off the stage.
Gido fell off the stage and wasn't getting up. He was still alive but broke a few more bones in his body and he looked mentally traumatized.
"Gido is unable to fight anymore. Sachiko wins!" The judge announced.
"Yayy!!" Sachiko cheered for herself.
[Host has won her first match and defeated a nen user for the first time. Congragulations. You got a random reward. Do you want to open it?]
'Oh? a reward? sure.' Sachiko said to the system.

'It's hunter points this time?' Sachiko thought. 'System..'

Right, Sachiko thought to herself. 'What can I buy with 300 hunter points, system? Is there new additions to the shop?'

Looking at the shop, Sachiko felt excited to find new arrivals. She wanted to buy pain resistance because getting stronger didn't mean she didn't feel any less pain and she wasn't used to getting injured much before. So, she wanted to ease her future suffering.
That said, she still thought physical enhancement, electricity resistance and poison resistance was great. It was just that she wanted the pain resistance more now.

'Great, I'll save up more points and buy others later.' She thought.
Meanwhile, Wing wasn't sure how to comment on this whole battle.
He couldn't explain why Sachiko wasn't suffering any injury even after getting hit by mutiple spinning tops as she wasn't defending herself with nen.
The last part was understandable tho, since Sachiko used Ren to neutralize the potential damage with her aura when she grabbed Gido with her bare hands.
"Master, was she using Ren when she grabbed him?" Zushi asked.
"Yes, I believe that was the only time she used nen during this whole fight." Wing confirmed.
"That's so amazing. The way she stopped him with her bare hands." Gon said, admiring it.
"Yeah, it didn't sound very easy." Killua agreed.
"It would indeed require a lot of aura and precise timing to pull that off, since Gido is spinning at such high speeds." Wing said.

Soon, they met up with Sachiko. Sachiko ran over to them as soon as she saw them.
"Hey, guys!"
"Sachiko san!" Gon waved to her. "Are you feeling okay?"
"Huh? Why wouldn't I be?" Sachiko asked.
"You got hit by the spinning tops a few times so Gon was worried. I mean you weren't even using nen to defend. Isn't that the very thing you told us not to do?" Killua scolded her.
"Yeah, do as I say, not do as I do, duh." Sachiko said.
"How are you even okay if it's that dangerous?" Killua asked.
"Well, you just gotta know what you're doing and I did so it was no problem!" Sachiko shrugged.
"Even tho you could've got crippled?" Killua asked.
"Nah, I knew I would have been fine. Besides, I could've dodged all of them but when I thought about it, it would have less effect on that guy's mental state. So, I went ahead and took a few hits. It kinda hurt tho." Sachiko lied about her being hurt.
"I don't see any injuries." Killua stated.
"Yeah, they already healed coz it's been two whole hours!" Sachiko said dramatically.
"Are you even a human? What kind of healing do you have?" Zushi muttered.
After a few more minutes of chaos between Killua and Sachiko, they all decided to go have dinner together at a restaurant. Sachiko agreed to treat everyone dinner after being pestered by Killua for five whole minutes. But since she knew she made another billion by bets alone today, she didn't see much problem in treating dinner.
Killua ordered the whole menu so Sachiko told him to finish everything or she would finish him. Gon, on the other hand, ordered everything that looked delicious. Wing and Zushi, on the other hand, ordered like normal people would.
"Is it too late to undo the adoption?" Sachiko asked.
Killua smirked, "Too late. You're stuck with me for the rest of your life."
"Or the rest of your life." Sachiko said with a smirk.
"Wow, how scary." Killua said sarcastically.
